Brace yourselves fellow coffee addicts. We can now drink our favorite iced coffee or even pay for everything we eat in Starbucks for they are already accepting bitcoin as payment. This is one way of making bitcoin and other cryptos go into mainstream. We need big companies adopting to crypto for it to be known to public. Hope that in the near future every business establishment will make list bitcoin as one of the mode of payments for items purchased. I can't wait to try it out myself. Looking forward for this to take effect asap.

Starbucks is looking highly interested in joining the crypto revolution and if a company with the popularity of Starbucks starts taking payments in Bitcoin then it will prove to be a news of high magnitude for the whole crypto community.

If this is true it will be a huge achievment in the crypto industry and soon many other companies will also allow payments in bitcoins and other altcoins and those will regain more popularity then ever.

            Starbuck is an international coffee company it is planning to support cryptocurrency by November this year . It allows the users to pay for their coffees, sandwiches and other snacks using virtual currency . They will allow the customers use digital wallet to convert Bitcoin into fiat currency this shows a development of Bitcoin as a means of payment . This acceptance of Bitcoin by the company shows turning  a friendly approach towards  cryptocurrency  this will lead Bitcoin to the mainstream as a mode of payment let us wait and see.

It’s a great initiative. I think not only strabucks but also other top cooffe shop and resturent will accept bit coin in future. I think it’s a matter of time.

No, guys it is not happening. Starbucks clarified that they won't accept digital payments such as bitcoin. OP needs to distinguish a rumor or a real news. Though, they said that they continue to talk with customers about this so I hope you guys that has bitcoins will visit Starbucks so we can increase bitcoin awareness when it finally happens.

Maybe one of you are telling the truth but i guess that Bitcoin will make starbucks more profitable.

I want to drink a cup of hot coffee in Starbucks and pay it with bitcoin that I have and this is an interesting experience for me and at the same time prove that I support bitcoin to be accepted by many people.

We don't know if this information is true or it's just a trick to make Starbuck's stock value increase. A lot of companies did this before.

And even if Starbucks support crypto currency, I don't think it'll be bitcoin. It must be a low value and zero transaction fee coin. Though I'm not a big fan of XRP but it's the perfect coin for this.

This is indeed a treat for the people in the crypt market. Everyone loves Starbucks and will be great for us crypto holders to be able to purchase these beverages for crypto.

Not sure if this will turn out to be hoax like Samsung's one but Starbucks has recently partnered up with ICE to create an ecosystem for the cryptos which shows that they are already thinking of getting into the crypto scene. So, if they start allowing payments in BTC that will be huge news for the community.

Too good to be true, for now! Just being realistic. As a habitue of Starbucks, this is a dream come true for me if this is true. But not this year. Maybe at the turn of the new decade. 

If news is coming out and it keeps on contradicting themselves then its probably fake news. Its a welcoming news if this is true but it looks like is a total misinterpretation from the media. So for all coffee lovers out there (including me), don't celebrate yet as it might takes years for bitcoin to go mainstream.

That's great news but if you talk about the impact on bitcoin value, it will not significant increase but the exposure will greatly increase.
It's just put massive advertisement on Starbuck outlet.
When people want to purchase, they see that starbuck already have another alternate type of payment while we as investor / old investor, we can easily purchase our favorite coffee with single scan !

Hopefully in my country also. Starbucks can accept bitcoin as payment. I drink coffee in their store every week but I cannot see that they accept bitcoin payment. Sometimes, cash is not available to me by the end of the week because my salary was sent every Monday or Wednesday. I go to the mall every weekends and visit their store. So, it is better if they can accept bitcoin as payment specially in my country.

Yes its a news that can open the eyes of some companies to start accepting BTC.

Confirmation issues will rise again, it takes time though and my guess is that so are your coffee orders. Without confirmation, no coffee :) They should be choosing a faster altcoin instead some coins can send payment in seconds. XRP probably.
