Title: Bitcoin business (BitApparel.com) looking for investments/loans
Post by: BitApparel on October 14, 2011, 03:13:25 PM
Bitapparel.com opened in July as an online name brand clothing retailer which accepts bitcoins as a form of payment.  However, due to problems with payment processors, it is temporarily closed for maintenance.  We plan on opening our own brand of clothing and we are currently working with design and manufacturing.

We are currently short $4000 (1000 Bitcoins) for the site to reopen.  It includes a whole new layout and secure payment system with bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies.  But more importantly the design and manufacturing of our own clothing line.  Currently we are in talks with manufacturers and the products and contracts look very promising.

Costs of further operation:

New website design and new extensive payment processors coding- $500

clothing line design and logo- $200

Shipping system (stamps.com and shipping supplies)- $200

Other expenses- $100

Bitapparel clothing stock- $3000

We plan on selling a total of 40% of the entire company's future equity, meaning 40% ownership.  This comes out to $10/1% ownership.
Or

You have the option of lending me for 1-3 months at 2%-10% interest, depending on how much.

Please PM me for further details/negotiations, or email me at support@bitapparel.com.

Every year for the last decade I have come across someone who says "I'm going to make it big in clothing". 90% have been based on production and fail. 5% after that are just middlemen and either fail or stay around but never a good return, 1% after that became The Hundreds.
All of them had a good on paper plan, and drive and execution, but the market is just to unpredictable and tapping into a demo is almost near impossible with brand management. I would love to hear more of the operation and see if this could still be something I would be interested in.

Woot tshirts has a good model, the tee's are all voted on.

It would be a great indicator of designs worth investing in.
