My Bitcointalk account has just been banned last week for no reason. I always follow the rules & terms of the forum so I believe that my account was banned by a mistake. Post by: hilariousetc on August 08, 2018, 08:55:21 AM When people are permabanned it should automatically state on their ban: You have probably been banned for copy and pasting, because that's what 99% of these people are banned for when they ask in Meta and complain that they've 'done nothing wrong'. You've always done something wrong if you're permabanned and it's rare people are permbanned for anything else (other than spreading malware etc but those users usually know what they've done).

Not sure that it would stop the threads as the revelation is usually followed up with, "I promise to change" or "it will never happen again".Ooops forgot to add "Sir" I think I have only seen one instance where they actually did nothing, but that was a case of "framing" someone for the crime. Keep this in mind, a ban require an action from mods. Plagiarism is a violation of international copyright law and will get you instantly banned on just about any forum in the world. If you read the rules then you would know plagiarism is an immediate ban. Do you need to be told not to steal or be reminded that it's against the law as well? Well, you stole content and tried to pass it off as your own work. People should know that plagiarism isn't OK without having to be told. I have already read the thread many times. I total agree with you that no Mod is free & fun to ban me for no reason. But I think they should drop a note about the reason of banning. Even big boy like Google and Facebook, when they suspend user accounts, they usually provide more details about the reason of banning via Email.
