Title: Bootstrapping course, Showing btc can be used for good in stead of for bad Post by: wijnand1 on February 24, 2014, 10:53:10 PM Dear member,
This is about showing the bitcoin community is able and willing to support charity and is not only used for criminal activity as some people might think. I am a student at the Erasmus University Rotterdam doing the master program Entrepreneurship, for the course bootstrapping (getting things done without resources) a technique often used by start-ups, we set out to barter our way to flight tickets to work for a charity. Another bootstrapping technique is crowdfunding. I discussed bitcoin with my professor who told me this probably would not work. Another way to get attention is via facebook, a page is being developed at the moment. I set out to prove him wrong and show the people at my University how bitcoin can be used for a good purpose. This is not a beg for money, I know this is not appreciated and I do not like people doing it myself. Al I am asking for is showing support with a micro transaction. The bitcoin will be used to perform the charity activity and as an extra, during my final presentation, I will ask everybody in my class to make a wallet so i can transfer them all a small amount of bitcoin and help the community grown and be trusted more. All help is welcome and please spread the news. 1A1aRKyMPRCdQpw67tXR42i4hXCMq1xbvy Thank you for your support |
