To get started I'll compile a list of useful sites Forums /a/ (http://boards.4chan.org/a/) - Not the most friendly site in the world but it has some of the most hardcore okatu's. If you don't know about 4chan you probally shouldn't go there. Torrents TokyoTosho (http://www.tokyotosho.info/) The first place a subbed ep ends up. Seriously the best site I beleive for both Anime and Manga torrents. Animesuki (http://animesuki.com/) Any unlicenced anime may be here. Streaming Online AnimeSeason (http://www.animeseason.com/) Very good site with up to date working links. Not every series in the world will be here though. Mostly ad free. New eps released quickly. ANimeKiwi (http://www.animekiwi.com/) Another great site with LOADS of series, however deadlinks are common for older eps of series. New eps released quickly. TvShack (http://tvshack.bz/) A great site thats ben shutdown many times. It has links to not just anime, but tv shows and films. A very good site, but has a fair few adverts. http://mangastream.com/ (http://MangaStream) Great site with a few of the popular manga's released very quickly. Sky Animes (http://www.sky-animes.com/) Anime site in French, has direct downloads! Sankaku Complex (http://www.sankakucomplex.com/) A popular site of news regarding Japan, anime and manga. Some topics my not be SFW, please be aware. Updated very often. E-hentai (http://e-hentai.org/?r=13125) A site that contains Adult doujinshi and manga, along with normal ones in the gallery. NSFW. I actually don't even like ghost in the shell. "Serial experimental lain" is good but basically the opening is my prefered part in this anime. The rest is just ok to watch. Excel Saga is an anime I like to mention because it is fun and out of the box. PS. Here are a few others of my prefered animes: * NHK ni yokoso * K-On! * Azumanga Daioh * Ima, sokoni iru Boku (aka "Now and then, here and there") * Nana * Kino's odyssey * Denno Coil * Kamichu! * Shinryaku! Ika musume PS#2. I don't read mangas much (I prefer watching animes), but recently I red "Gantz" and it's pretty good, although the anime sucks. Title: Re: Anime Fans Unite! One of the only series I've caught from beginning to end. I've fallen off over the past year or 2 and don't really watch anime anymore... really busy w\ work and family.
