Nearly all of my altcoin portfolio is in the red and in rapid decline right now which although is disheartening to see also opens up the market for some great buying opportunities. Tron for example is at 284sats as of the time of writing this which is a great buy, i just picked up some more. i also have my eye on KCS (kucoin shares) which has dipped right down almost to levels this time last year. What are you buying during this dip and which coins do you think have fallen extremely low and will rebound later on making them great buys right now?

For me it's Onlogy (ONT) Anf Wanchain (WAN)

Today there was so much blood. I would go into charts and see which project lost the most. From those just pick reasonable ones (with the project behind it) and that could be a idea to invest in.

Buying ETH and Bitcoin are like the safe coins where you can depend on during this dip. ETH dropped very well and it's totally a cheap coin.

Many didn't expect that ETH would dip this much and while it's dipping, bitcoin seems to be stable @ $6100 and is waiting for its time to skyrocket.

Do you have any other choice for Tron?

There is nothing bought now among the top coins that is bad because this is a great opportunity to buy as many as possible, all altcoins have dropped drastically and I'll suggest any one you'll like among top listed altcoins on cmc after doing your little research about them

I will keep supporting btc and eth for long term growth no matter how worse the market gets at the moment, im still bullish for them over longer time frames so i think patience can surely be a virtue here, amd i do not suggest panic selling.

Ethereum is the best option for today, the price significantly has fallen down, so this is the time to bag some eth.

Bear in mind that this is a yearly dipped, A Ghost month indeed. Bitcoin will be recover very soon alts as well. Be confident on the price this is really a bargain price, and you won't see the price again for the last time.

yes, i have a couple more coins i am planning on getting since starting this thread. Those being some BNB (binance coin) into the mix which is always good to get during dips and some ETH after reading the majority of people think that now is almost a good time to buy back in. I also moved various alts into USDT and am waiting and watching the market for any signs of recovery beginning before moving back in only because i think it may dip a little more before rising again.

Some of the smaller coins are better to invest in right now and they are holding value more than the big top 20. I have a couple of newer masternode orientated coins that are actually going up in price while all others are dropping like lead weights. But basically anything you buy right now will make you money later on in the year. Coins such as OMG, LISK, NEM, DASH and XRP are all looking rather tempting on the buying front.

In this bear market,  I think btc and eth is still the most considered cryptocurrency for investment considering the drop in price which is the right time in buying.  I had a strong feeling that the bullish market is nearly coming and that don't wait for that to happen.  This time is the great opportunity in making investment in cryptos such as btc and eth.

I'm sure everyone thinks, now is the right time to start investing, but remember that no one can guess the price of the altcoin, whether it will go up or even go down again, but it's good, we start buying now, don't need much, but it's a little better so if the price goes up, then we can take advantage of it

I have a feeling a worldwide recession may be on the way before the end of the year too. which may cause a lot of people to move away from national currencies and into crypto helping create a huge bull run near the end of they year. So those that buy in now will profit greatly from these low prices.

In my opinion, the best crypto to buy atimes like this are those which are already years listed in the market because for sure, their market value have before experienced worse so the tendency is that, it would have a higher chance to recover at this situation than those which are only young in the market.

For me, the best option to buy at the moment is ETH, it has fallen in price more than many, it is a very trusted cryptocurrency which we know a lot about. I will slowly buy ETH. I also plan to buy BTC.

Best buy is BITCOIN. All other altcoins are going down and if you check previous drops they usually take more than a week before  rising again. Bitcoin isn't seeming to decrease much over the last week and i still feel safe having most of my investment in it. When the rise does come it is always sudden and i don't want to risk missing the bus like i have in times past.

I am thinking of putting some $$$ on ethereum and EOS since they will surely recover on the long run due to their use,fundamentals and the strong community behind them.

I think that now is a great option to buy aether, it cheap more than others. I think it will end soon.

I see some altcoins have experienced a huge decline. I see Pundi x also has a big decline and many are expecting that they can return to the initial price but I am sure Pundix will experience a rebound after the products they have made have been running in several countries. great potential in XLM because this is one of my favorite altcoins, so I bought 2 of these coins with a large amount at this time and I will hold them at a high price again.

NEO has gone so low. Those who have longed to buy it, can now buy it and hold till the next bullrun. NEO is a coin with lots of potentials.

Bitcoin and ethereum are the most coin being hold because of the potential to grow and when recover the market can give good profit. That are the coin that I keep earning and hold good volume and wait even how long it is. I want to achieve good earning from it.

I just try to buy the coin that has already traded on the dip and i can get something when i was holding its coin. Credit, CRPT, KICK, and EIDOO and some exchange site's shares.
They are all give a lot of advantage and fully working platform and app. i still try to get them all at the dip.

i will try to invest my money on mainstream cryptocurrencies, or those that have the most of the dominance of the market, bitcoin ethereum, ripple, I think most altcoins are not probably going to recover that fast from the drop.

During Dip I always preferred to buy theter its because price is very stable. Nothing to worry if your all asset traded to theter and back again to your favorite altcoins like Bitcoin and Ethereum if the bullrun already started.

no, I have difficulty determining prices. when prices fall we will be hesitant to make a decision.
because the price might continue to go down without control. this is the confusing part and the thing that makes us stuck with trade.

I favor altcoin with strong fundamental inside it, like Binance Coin (BNB) and KuCoin share (KCS). These exchange coins have solid, high volume exchanges to back their value. As long as these exchanges keep improving, these coins will rise with them. Note that Binance is looking to make a decent decentralized exchange, the first to end those slow and inconvenient decentralized exchanges out there. If they succeed, it will be huge.

But if you want more of a sure bet, go for ETH, or even BTC itself. I have no doubt BTC will hit its bottom soon ($4K-$5K). I also heard that Vitalik prepared something new for ETH, so this bear market maybe the last time we'll ever be in this price range :P

I am an ETH believer so with this current iam buying more ether because i believe that this altcoin's value will become stable maybe at the end of the year.

Eth is among the altcoins that i first knew cryptocurrency and i always following it's platform and how it perform in the market. Now that ETH is dipping, i take this opportunity to buy more of it since i do believe in this coin and it's platform. Buy now and gain profit later because i have a gut feeling that it double it's current value at the end of the year.

In my opinion all coins has possibility to going up to the their each top price again in a few month, and i have seen the altcoin that been extreme going down is NEO and ADA. Both coin will offer 10 times profit in few month on bullish market. In fundamental both coin also very strong so its best option to pick up that coins for medium investment.

For me i go directly to the alternate coins listed on top since i believe that these cryptos have bright future and it's also an unusual opportunity to have them at a lower price. Don't you like to have IOTA, Stellar, Cardano, Ripple, or Ethereum in your portfolio?

ooh, i like the sound of that. Can you elaborate more on what you heard about Vitalik's development on ethereum? Anyways everyone i have seen the signs of a rebound occurring already. Few different coins have entered the green zone again. Some like BAT have already risen 15%on binance right now.

Its good to invest on the project that is really working well now. The alts dump so hard this year and I love buying ETH, XEM, LYL, and UTK right now, this great coins can bounce higher next year so I have to hold more right now. This is a good opportunity to enter in the market, I'm encouraging some of my friends to invest in cryptomarket now so they can enjoy a profitable investment.

Let's continue to support ETH because its really a good coin despite of its current price. Hodlers will be more happy in the coming years because of this coin.

I think ETH would be the best alt rebound this year. Thats right. Ethereum. Even ETC would see some major adoptions but that may fizzle out.
Besides this, I am personally invested quite a few assets but I am particularly hopefull about Holo, OST, SelfKey, Mainframe and PundiX.

I have my eyes set on a few upcoming projects as well like Taucoin, Genesis IDT, Carbon Chain and a few more that I won't name yet  ;D

The most profitable coins are bitcoin and ethereum. I strongly recommend this two because they has a huge amount of volume every day, meaning it is 100% safe to invest in. Or if you are trying to look on some other coins, just only choose on top listed coins because crypto has a high risk and volality every time.

Maybe you should focus only on ethereum and bitcoin because this coin will never die because of its popularity and its on high demand and many people uses it. And now its the best time to invest to this coin because market today is on dip. and by the end of the year it will start again to recover for sure just what happened in the last few years. Especially this ethereum its  cheap for now its a good thing to invest.

XRP Ripple is a huge opportunity right now, I'd jump on that asap

in this bearish market the altcoin which i will advice you to invest into is Ethereum because it has a high potential to reach beyond $500 US and currently it is around $200 US. Investing in Ethereum around this time will certainly assure you of an income of at least $300 dollars if the market starts to rise.

ethereum and stellar are coins that are well purchased when the bear market occurs this year. You will get a big profit because the coin has decreased by 70% this year.

Leave the market is realistic option we have, don't start any activity ( buy/ sell ) until market stable again. Most of us believe dip market is the best moment to buy but I'm afraid to rise again will need more time, can't handle patience is disaster. If you want to buy just bitcoin or eth only because until now only those survive with good performance.

I know this could be a very confusing time to buy the best altcoin that could generate multiple profit during bounce back, but hey! ETH falls so hard ($290 at this very moment) if you have to think this coming 4th quarter of the year it will double or triple your investment once the market recovers. TRON is also a good option since its cheap and affordable and could make good returns as well. Actually almost all of the coins in the market today is a potential profit multiplier sooner or later. I advise you not to buy anything,because it feels like most tokens are still going down, so it's still going to be down for a long, long time, so it's probably a very high price right now.

The best way to buy in dip situation maybe to those altcoins that have some potential because if you have that kind of altcoins maybe you gained enough profit on that. Bitcoins also are the best to buy and holding of it.

If you are looking into Binance coin, you also have to see Kucoin shares.

These set of coins are very good choice of coins. I'm not saying that you shouldn't choose Tron but if you really like that coin, go for it but don't buy those hypes that are being made through that coin.

i prefer to buy ico token/coin that already dumped by its airdrop and bounty participant, but that should be a great project and strong idea project, i think buying ico token/coin in this dip will can give you a much profit after market recover

Id wait another week and then put 50% of what you’re willing to spend into the market. After that, wait until the Bitcoin ETF news of September 30; if the ETF gets approved put the rest in and ride the wave up and if it doesn’t get approved, save your money and watch rock bottom happen.

If the market dipped this much because of a delay, wait until the official decision.

Go for Ethereum man, it has reduce in value by more than half. Not forgetting that Ethereum mostly runs with bitcoin so it is better to invest in such a coin than going for other cryptocurrencies.

Why? it has been dumped and that's mostly the purpose of those tokens. Once they have been dump, it will be hard for it to recover.

You are right, the situation on the market is ideal for buying some coins, but personally I buy ETH because its price is very low. And I am sure that when the market will recover, it will grow strongly. In addition, it is less secure than in other coins (without bitcoin).

I think ETH is the best buy this time of dips because ETH is next to bitcoin, so if bitcoin will rise again, for sure ETH is the next altcoin that will rise and will hit the last ATH's. ;D

Since the price of Eth coin dropped by almost half this price shows how blood is everywhere. I hope the right choice to take this coin ;D

Personally, I think the best buy of altcoin in this period of dip is to buy potential and very promising coin because they will be able to survive the market and when the market recover from the fall, their price will also rise quickly than investing in less valuable coin that may likely not survive the market condition.

The coins that have taken a hit but most likely to make the best rebound in the long run are coins like ethereum, litecoin and neo. Reasons being that no matter how much these coins dump, there are always loyal investors behind the coins and this is what makes sure that the coins always have value. and there will always be people to pump the price.

I think if you choose any coin from the top 100 you will get profit. What I recommend to you it`s to buy some ETH because of his stability and they think about buying ADA, PundiX, EOS, Stellar - I wish they will get you a nice profit in the future. 

I will buy these coins IOTA, CARDANO, MONERO. Because I believe when the market, increasing the price, it's will bring me a big profit.

It is not that easy to catch the deepest point but I think when etherium was lower than $250 it was a great time to get in, so today the price is still good, but the price is already higher than it was few days ago.

Actually buying some etherium was a good idea.
For now ill buy some etherium because ill know in this coming of ber months will be have a huge amount of altcoins.

There are a lot actually but my favorites to invest with during bear market are EOS, LTC, XMR, DASH, NEO, VERGE and STRATIS. They are not just popular but really got a potential specially if there will be a massive adoption. If you could check their all time high, these altcoins will make you a millionaire in no time.

I think that the best buy for anyone at this dip should all or any of the coins you have always admired and wanted to invest in. this is the best time to invest in your favorite coins. of course the prices are way cheaper now, so you would be getting more of these your favorite coins for a lesser value, and hoping to get better profits when the market is stable again.

I'm not buying anything yet.  because the market may fall even more.  I am in the process of studying
