Title: Can you share your trading experiences?
Post by: pankowri on August 18, 2018, 07:04:25 AM
Hello,

I was joined in crypto world almost one year ago. In this period, I am continuously learning from here and also work here. That's why I got some money and from those money I save some. Now, I want to start trading though the market situation isn't good now but I want to do this. I am also ready to take risk.

For doing that and getting inspiration, I need to know about its details. It will be good when you share your experiences.
Let's share your opinion here.
Thanks

In this situation of crypto market is better to do day trading by take profit 10 % to 30% and dont forget to use stop loss around 7% to avoid big loss.  For day trading use exchange that has high trading volume like Binance.  All price of crypto in the bottom now so is more easy to earn profit.  Learn more about trading plan and management of risk and money.

This is not an easy job, trading requires a lot of hard work and patience because sometimes you need to wait before the market hits your target price. Its good that you don't start trading without the right knowledge, you can learn more about trading on youtube and also in some books. My experience in trading is no that good in my first trade since I'm not familiar yet, I incur loses many times but you must not give up because its normal just keep on doing the right trade.

I've been trying everything and from my experience, one's trading style should fit a person. If someone is a quick-minded and like to profit every day that perhaps arbitrage might be a good choice for him

Well,I think I need to have more patience. But I will do better if I understand this well. I don't want to lose any more because I earned my money by hard working here spreading this year. I am still learning from here and obviously I will not start without the right knowledge.

By the way, thanks for your opinion.

Sure why not? In fact, I have my thread on this forum about my trading experience last December. It is about Verge, I'm holding a decent amount of Verge last year then I decided to sell it because I needed money. I sold all of it at around $300 but after 2 days, the value rises and if I didn't sell it, the value should have been $10000.

In my experience when in times of trading is you got to have a lot of losses it you bet a lot but those losses will lead you to knowledge about trading which is good.

As a beginner, the best way to invest is to diversify your investment, and you need to learn to observe market trends every day and collect information on buying coins!

as long as I do trading, there is actually only one thing that always makes me feel that I continue to experience failure. when I began to feel that I was very difficult to control my emotions, I began to stop trading because trading would always fail if I could not control emotions.

A word of advice from me who always lose my money on trading, I suggest that you just treat trading as a game, don't let your emotions decide on what you are doing because market changes every second and If you let your emotions rule when you are trading then you'll get rekt. I could say this by being angry when I miss the peak or the bottom and that is not good, paralyzing me and making me compensate the loss which ends up with another loss. Just chill, treat this as a game you are willing to learn on.

Yes,I also know about this. One of my friend is also faced this problem few months ago. Its common things in this area. After all, patience is more important in this respect and we need to have more patience.

My trading based on fundamentals such as market, way, crowd effect, and short-term project. These are the primary factors that I rely on to carry out my transactions. I have a little trick in exchange that is always buying the new Altcoin listed on the exchange.

You are half way successful in this industry if you are able to take the risk and in your case you already mentioned that you are going to accept the risks. Its good for building up your confidence and trade effectively. Next you need to learn to choose the crypto coins which are worth trading and are not the one's which are used for the pump-dump actions. Better to trade with coins which are in Top 20 as they are highly stable as compared to rest. I always do the swing trading and long term trading which give me good benefits. Its better you research about these terms and learn what are they and how to do them.

Enter this market for nearly a half year and i can say that control your greedy is the key. Sell when you have profit and feel "enough", and don't follow the green candles. And some time read the news, find a good coin for trading, and focus on just several coins.

Well I have been trying to trade myself for a long time but I failed to get a good grip of day trading because I do not understand from charts. Last year I have purchased a trading bot and he helped me setup something and that software checks out tons of coins you put in it and checks the charts and react according to what you put it in, there are default strategies and I selected one of them.

It made tons of profits on December and now its basically spending what it made into dropping the averages, it works really well for that but when the market is bear there is no way it makes money, it only drops the purchase averages of coins which kinda helps considering I just need one good bull run for making a good profit again.

Trading has not been easy since this year and some of my trades are still stuck and i am waiting for the market to recover. The good thing about this year market situation is that i understood many concepts and trends of trading and in the long run it will really help me.

At this time all crypto activity ( trading, invest ) will take big risk than you think before, market in sideways mode at down trend. I suggest you to see market condition again because in this situation all strategy can fail in short time. If you want to try please use demo account to minimize risk and read clearly what happen. But if you already have strategy and want to test it, use my strategy. Replace your money into top 1 - 3 coin from coinmarket list, use short/ medium term period ( 4H - day - week ) and leave the market when stop loss/ take profit point reached.

So for those who want to learn to trade or invest, mimin recommends just use a small portion of savings to play trading so as not to experience too significant losses. Mace cryptocurrency trading that can guarantee continued profit. Learn the market, and study the analysis, and don't miss the latest news. If you feel sufficiently proficient, you can add your investment to the cryptocurrency world.

As a small note, do not be greedy in determining sales targets, as long as it's profit, make it a habit to be satisfied and do not try to sell at prices that do not make sense unless you are absolutely sure.

Congratulations, I think you have the experience to answer these questions yourself, review what you did last year and you will find the best way to trade.

I want to start trading through the market situation isn't good

The market is now in a correct position, perhaps the best time to buy at a low price.
A real trader is the one who can earn by rising or falling.

Now but I want to do this. I am also ready to take a risk.
Since you have not mentioned any investment information, you will receive a general answer.
The best for you is a long-term investment in currencies like Bitcoin and Monero.
Set a specific plan for profit and loss and do not let greed hold you

I started to trade about 2 years ago. The hardest part was to understand the technical analytic signals as they were very controversial. In one point you feel you are stuck, as the info you can find doesn't give you a straight answer. There's always two sides of the same story what wrecks your brain an then - you begin to think if this is  what you really want. But what ever it is that puts you in doubt, always remember the reason why you entered in in the first place.. :)

Well, I got a good comment from you. I will try to do this. Any way, I want to trade in this bearish market. Because  I got money from this situation and I think this will be better for me. Because crypto will pump again and many expert already predict this.

I will think about your statement.

Yes I know about the last year and hopefully this year will also be good for traders and I think all the traders and investors are waiting to see this. Yes this bear trend is a good entry point even for short term trading but be careful on your coins that you'll buy because not everything will increase. Better to buy more bitcoin now than altcoin because once the bull run start bitcoin will dominate again the market yet hopefully altcoins won't left on the floor.

Well, from the very beginning, you might lose several times because you are still a beginner. However, you will fully take an understanding of the market from your experiences. It is neither quite hard to trade nor quite easy. It is all based on you researches and studies. Before applying them into action, you might want to sit down and relax yourself in order to take a good decision. Otherwise, you will rush out and lose everything. There are many useful topics on this forum in case you want to take an idea.

One of the most important things you have to think about in trading is that you have to have good emotional control !!!

If you want to have good emotional control then practice, never give up and you must use every experience you have.

Trading means that you have to be ready at any time, you will face all the conditions that exist and emotionally will determine whether you will make a good decision or not.

The problem is that there is going to be a bias, many people with bad experiences will probably be reluctant to share their experiences since remembering all the money that they lost is going to be very painful, while those that earned money are going to share their stories without any problem, this may give you the idea that earning money by trading is very easy since everyone is doing it but that is not true, earning money in this market with the market being so bearish is something only expert traders can do.

I have been trading a lot, so much experience I got. but I feel that I'm not doing that well. I feel that when I sell coins I have, the price of the coin always rises. well, so many defeats that I received until that could be my basis in building enthusiasm.

My experience is that you need to use Google, Youtube to learn how to analyze the market, coin, chart, ... Then follow the project to study it. Finally, you buy when prices fall and sell when the price increases, the most important is not to affect emotions trading

Ok its history is very sad and at the same time made me laugh because it already happened to me, I had bought lisk for 0.002 btc price, then I sold for the price of 0.0023 btc and lisk went up to 0.0028 btc and I thought lisk would go up more and bought again, it happens that lisk fell, but fortunately I sold in 0.0026 btc so I did not have many losses

Trading is not a easy one.Because you need more patience to get profit from it .Many new traders had lost their by panic selling. You have to be patience till the price increase and don't get panic at any situation. This two is quite enough to get profit from cryptocurrency. With this you have to use the basic trading statics. You have to buy bitcoin at low price and sell at high price. This two factors is quite enough to yield profit from Trading.

Most trading experiences I can elude to are the ones i regret  ;D

Around July 2017 I was starting to actively trade crypto daily and was doing very well at the time. You pretty much couldn't lose and then IT happened.

I had some open trades on Kraken for about 100 ETH on one x5 leverage and 10 BTC on the other also x5 leverage.

I was up about 20k USD at one point and for some stupid reason I allowed emotions to get the best of me and thought I would wait until I was up 25k and then 30k so on and so on.

To keep a long story short - market started crashing and the 20k profit I had quickly turned to nothing and I got liquidated. Moral of the story is always take profits whenever possible and do the best you can to remove emotion from your decision on whether to buy/sell or place a trade even.

I have been trading since 2007 and one thing that I have through experience is never tried to control the market as the market has it own mind.  This very good to cut the loses as quickly as possible and allow the profits to run for long time.

I tried a bit of day-trading in January this year when the market was still at the relative uptrend.
I uploaded around $200 to Poloniex to play around and just to see how it all works from the inside.
I learned how to recognize a few signals on charts and even made some profits, but eventually I got bored. It's a too monotonous activity for me.

So I've decided to concentrate on what I know best and go on with marketing for blockchain projects. The best way to make money on the overheated market is to provide it with what it needs most.

Thanks
Telling true I think that any successful trader will not give you any free advice to you. Because unfortunately trader learns from mistakes. Only our own experience, both positive and negative, will allow us to develop our own profitable trading system. But you can learn knowledges about trading by yourself. Of course it takes more time, but it is really work. First of all you should start from learning theory, technical analysis through indicators, Elliot's waves and etc. Personally I like trading methods of William D.Gann described on "45 Years In Wall Street" and "Dimensional Stock Market Structures and Cycles" of Bradley F. Cowan.
Learn always when you have free time. Do not believe anyone, there are no authoritative opinions in this market. Learn, to rely only on yourself and your experience. Knowledge is the power, which help you to make really a big money in this market. And not only in this...
In order not to sell on the red market, personally I advice always set a stop loss and trade according to principals of diversification and money management.

There is no easy start to this business. Without mistakes we can't succeed. And surely the mistakes are the heavy part of this story. But, if you never try what you never did, you'll never reach what you never had.

First when I am new to the crypto trading I am afraid of it cause I am new and do not know yet what will I do. But when I learn the crypto trading and know how to do it little by little my fear has over come cause I know already how to handle the crypto trading. Also trading for newbies is to risky and when you want a passive income you should do the day trading. When you do the day trading, you have to have all of your time and monitor the time.

My experience when entering into a cryptocurrency transaction is that I trade a lot of coin and every type of mine has its own plans for many types of coin that make me plan to be more specific.
I have been trading a lot, so much experience I got. but I feel that I'm not doing that well. I feel that when I sell coins I have, the price of the coin always rises. well, so many defeats that I received until that could be my basis in building enthusiasm.
The important thing is if you made any money at all with those trades, I know that feeling, it seems that whenever you sell everything goes up, this may mean that you need to learn to be more patient with your trades but this could also mean nothing since it is impossible to sell at the top of the market all the time, remember always judge a trade based on the profits you made not on the profits you could have made.

If you want to start trading in crypto currency, then first of all learn to use stop loss, which is the most important tool in trading that will save you from losses and help you earn.

Have you thought about trying depth chart analysis for your day trading? It's what I do to view short-term sentiment and momentum, and then trade off it. I am now making 1-2% consistently on the majority of my trades, getting in and out quickly. Losses are contained when the market moves against you.

The discord community I learned this from are great. Check it out: Voodoo Crypto Discord (https://discord.gg/nCmjwmQ)

Any questions, let me know!

When i go to the coinmarketcap,  i have seen all price of crypto dumped hard and if the price going up back to the top we can make huge profit up to 10 to 20 times.  I think now is good times to put money in to crypto and hold it untill the price going to the highest level. Put your money for day trading and also swing trading. In my opinion bull market  will coming.

I think everyone has his or her own way and his style as well. Day trading is good for people that understand trading and technical analysis as well. Rather, if you do not have all the time, you can choose to trade/invest and hold for long term. All these are trading strategies
It could be good for them but for me it is not good, as I have no good experience with day trading, it is modern age where having information is not a big deal, so if we will be able to make good research I am sure it will give me profit, I think it is good time to share experience as this way people get to know about trading and earn more income in trading, so keep on sharing and trading.

I’ll agree with Fantastickarl's opinion. There is no secret that each of us develops their own style of trading with time. However, I think that there are several valuable things which we need to keep in mind. First of all, you shouldn’t listen to what others say. Sure, it’s ok to take someone’s advice into consideration, but you shouldn’t blindly follow anyone’s opinion. It’s also important to understand WHY do you want to deal with crypto.

That's why buying the crypto currencies is considered a risky investment. No one knows where will the prices move in the near future. An ordinary trader should swim with "whales". If you see that they sell their coins, don't hold the crypto currencies you bought and try to buy the dip before their pump.

My personal trading experience is positive. I have no losses, but I want to improve my own tactics. I think that the buying a reliable trading signals is a good method for gaining a profit.

Well, it looks like many people already provided you with their own experiences and opinions :) So, I’ll be brief. When I was a newbie I spent plenty of time on research. After reading several articles, I decided that it’s better to stick with cryptocurrency exchange, coz it's more secure and simple way of trading. Actually, there are several good exchanges, you can search for different reviews if you want. Personally I’m using cex (https://cex.io/) and quite satisfied with it.

I think we all want to improve our strategies but as long as you can make money out of them then you are in the right track, the only thing you need to do is to fine tune them so the strategies become more profitable, I am also doing that but since I am a long term holder then things are not so simple, because I am planning to improve my techniques when the market crashes and in order to see a crash first we need to see a bull market.

Trading sounds very easy, buying at a low price and selling at a high price. Even though trading actually needs expertise. In Crypto, you can not only sell and buy. To benefit from crypto, you must be an active person. For example, to increase rank you must make a post. To get a token, you must follow the faucet, airdrops or bounty

Maybe OP only ask about trading activity, in trading it is true need more active, experience and more knowledge. That is can be done with always trade and learn what make us loss.

Trading is not accosciated with bitcointalk rank you can make money from exchanges according to your capital not to your ranks, the rank is important only for to participate on the signature campaign which may give you tokens!

Yeah that's what makes the market fluctuate, if people don't panic of course the price reduction won't happen this often, but all are
risks in trading right. all you can do is take advantage of the best possible opportunities including buying at low prices like this..

That is probably one of the biggest lies when it comes to trading, when you look at the process of making money with trading it seems very easy, you just need to buy for a low price and then sell for a high one, it sounds very easy but it isn't until you actually try it when you realize how difficult it is which explains why more than 80% of the traders lose all their money in their first year of their careers.

Regardless if you are a long term investor or a day trader, it is a very good idea to have your portfolio be more than just one type of coin, in the instances that one goes south and you panic sell or if you are in need to quickly liquidate your coins you can have some hedge/collateral.

I think we should wait for the red market and start buying potential altcoin. But let's wait twice for a month, then the market will rise again. Because I have mastered the way the market works and my short-term investment strategy works well. Hope you can make a profit from this strategy. ;)

Most of the time i used a rules in trading and that is i wait for 5-10% profit. Greediness is the worst thing on trading. Buy low and sell high but don't expect much profit at a time.

Recently, I tried to buy LYL coins at cryptopia. This is the first time I bought a coin on exchange and I don't know if I will lose or not. Though, I have read and watched some videos about trading, I am worried that I will loss my capital specially that this is the first I tried trading. However, even I lose today, I won't make it as my weakness rather I will learn from my failure. I bought at 45 Sats and as of now, it goes 40 sats. I assume that there is a downtrend and I think my decision was wrong.

That's just normal to be worried about your trades because it is your first time so you will experience all the emotions and it would be better then if you will learn from your trades and think why you lose. You may have watch a ton of videos but doing it yourself is a whole lot different because the emotions are already there and it is the one that will be the key if you will be successful or nor since majority of trading is about psychology whether you will be able to control your emotion or not.

Yes I know they have risk, but if you a true trader you can know everything have risk. All you need is to have a clear plan as to when you should buy or sell your coins because this has been the mistake of most traders especially those who are just starting because they are easily swayed by the news and would easily buy or sell without a plan of when they would buy or sell it so in effect, there are more losses than profits.

What we all should be cracking our head about is, what is the whale's plan with 110k BTC arsenal, because it could be just fud manuever to break 5800$, and scare the shit out off the strongest hands. He could'v sold at 20k $, and all the way down to 10k $, is this whale a retard to sell at lowest price and probably slamming the market below 5800$, of course not. Its enough to start pumping the price by a few thousnd on all exchanhes or dump. If i was a whale i wouldnt be selling now unless some bigger whale group told me, listen we dropping BTC to zero so get out.

Well, I'm bad at trading. sometimes I wait so long with a big profit goal, but sometimes the price goes down, and when I sell it, the price goes up. well, I think that is the thing that traders feel out there. yeah, but everyone has a different story.

Don't push your self enter market at this moment, you must see the reality not your dream. If you want it please use demo account for practice, you'll know market situation is bad for any strategy. In trading/ investment world we only have 3 experience, we know that about loss, win ( profit ) and stuck. Prepare your self to face risk and good luck to you.

I can share some of my fail moments in trading.

1. When I am starting in trading, I know that my first capital in trading will get lost because I'm a newbie at that time and it happened. There are times that I got win but all of my profits will be lost in just one trade only. That time, I don't know how to use stop loss.

2. I got FOMO'ed twice. One is when QLC is newly listed on Binance. I know that there is risk on it but I tried to trade on it and got lost by around 30-40% I think. The second time is when I the announcement of Verge with Pornhub. I bought when it is at its peak and in the end, I lost half of my capital on it.

This is just 2 of the many fails I get although I'm profiting right now. I'm profiting right now but not too much. There are times that I got lost in a trade and that is normal. My advice, learn first before you trade. Your knowledge will be your weapon in trading. HAPPY TRADING!!! :D

Many traders has experienced already that you are buying a coin in that certain price and it keeps increasing it's volume and price that is why you are adding your portfolio to it. You buy another coin and then at a certain time the price goes down slowly and you are not going to sell the coin in loss right? That is why you are keep holding it until you will get some profit. But as the time flies the price goes down and down and you are getting frustrated with the project and you want to curse the team on it.  ;D ;D Just in my experience  :D

You can start checking out these guys: https://discord.gg/2cjRufh. I've been using their free crypto calls for a few months, and I made a small profits 1-2% almost every other day. Also the community is very helpful and I learned a lot new information and ways to cope with emotional trading. It's worth it, but I will suggest you first start with the free signals until you become more knowledgeable and calm.

It is true if we make lose even them we will get something as we will learn about how to trade and how to get better profit from it, try to increase your income only by holding for long time, rise and fall will come to your way but never lose hope just keep on buying and trading for long time, I got a lot of profit in trading for long term as I was good in long time trading and my friend get lose in day trading as he was not good at, so it is all about knowledge and experience.

Im not a full time trader so i trade oftenly. I usually hold coins because its easier to manage than trading. I once trade with a not so popular coin and end up losing. Gladly i dont put all my money and it and its just an experimental investment. So i try to invest on popular coins started on that.

When I was trading for the first few months, I am very desperate to make that money and I was very problematic because I don't how trading works. I read and research a lot about it and thank God that it worked out but that only lasted in December. Right now, I'm trying to stay positive so the next time, I can leave crypto for good.

I don't have much experience in trading because I still learning on trading and although I still a beginner, I am trying to make a profit. I know that to make a profit, I need to buy at the very low price and hold it or sell it when the price can increase higher in the next hour. but sometimes, I miss the right price to sell because I am not too often watching the price movement so I still find a good price to place my sell order.

Yes, we might lose a few times because we are beginners. However, we will fully understand the market from our experience. This is not too difficult to exchange or very easy. It is all based on our research and studies. Before implementing it to act, we think now is the right time to put money in the cryptocurrancy and hold it so that prices rise to the highest level.

Joined the trading during the last year bull run where I was told to never sell any coin at a loss, that there will always be a return profit for every buy, and it actually happened but now the case became different, in a bull market it was a continuous profit, no matter the amount of coin you have at a loss just give it sometime it will return to profit, but in this case, it is so much different as the coins are obviously dumping and never returning, so have sold a lot of trades at loss and it is not a pleasant one, I have to learn how to to apply stop loss to trading and it is helping

LYL? First and foremost, this should first be about knowing the coin you are trading and making sure you are not just trading some shitcoins as that may lead you to bag holding them, also it is imperative that you really are sure the exchange you are trading on is good enough to trade with good reviews.

However, all that is most important is to trade with great knowledge because you really do not want to not have that most especially in a very volatile market. Just always have a strategy before getting into a market and if it ended up not playing out the way you expect, stop loss while you still can without emotions.

In my opinion, you first need to learn basic and advanced technical analysis to gain knowledge about trading.
Then you can read more books on trading psychology.

I will advice that before you commence trading  you should have a target in mind by target I mean how much you want to make from your trading activities.  Remember you can not hit a target you can see.  It is also important that you let trade develop,  trade your way up gradually,  do not enter into any trade with all your feet!

Its very good that you have gotten some funds to invest but you need to be careful when investing. Always learn what it entails to choose a good investment and always follow the rules and invest what you can afford to lose
That still totally depends on how vast you are when it comes to trading. Investing is one part, trading is another part. Investing could be in two ways, which is either short term or long term and in any way with this, you are still going to be trading which is more like you taking advantage of the profit it gives you over the period of time you are looking at.

The difference here is that without knowledge, you will always tend to make the wrong decisions and with knowledge you are sure going to be making some tangible profit. Learning is an intricate part of any investment, and this space is not an exception.

How to Earn Substantial Returns During Bear Market?

Crypto market is highly volatile by nature and most cryptocurrencies lost around 70% in value in 2018. Despite that, individual investors are still investing in crypto market and bear significant losses, especially when trading on margin. The main issue is that individual investors can’t efficiently manage their capital as they are not qualified enough to perform token price valuation, fundamental analysis of the blockchain project, technical analysis of the token price movements, and legal and regulatory due diligence.

Another type of investors are crypto hedge funds that are managed by investment professionals. Generally, top-tier crypto hedge funds with hundreds of millions of US dollars under management have excellent historical performance and track record. Crypto hedge funds that use active portfolio management approach have the ability to deliver impressive returns even during bear market conditions. For example, Pantera Bitcoin Fund's lifetime return was over 10,000% as of the end of July, 2018, net of fees and expenses.

Crypto hedge funds can earn substantial returns leveraging their deep knowledge of market trends, strong investment expertise, and rigorous due diligence. When investing in ICOs, crypto hedge funds have access to exclusive private deals with deepest discounts and can invest in the most promising blockchain projects that are not opened to public. Hedge funds provide their investors with monthly investor reports and perform annual audit to confirm the transparency of hedge fund operations and actual holdings.

Unfortunately, regular investors are not able to invest in crypto hedge funds as they typically require multi-million dollar minimums and are designed for accredited investors.  Under the US securities laws, in the context of a natural person, an accredited investor is an individual who have a net worth of at least $1,000,000, excluding the value of one’s primary residence, or have income at least $200,000 each year for the last two years (or $300,000 combined income if married) and have the expectation to make the same amount this year.

ELEMENTS (www.elements.cx) is the first blockchain fund that solves this issue. ELEMENTS offers easy access to investments in top-tier crypto hedge funds worldwide through its native token with $100 nominal value. Each token represents a stake in ELEMENTS capital and its value is linked to the performance of underlying investments, best-in-class crypto hedge funds. Unlike typical tokens, ELEMENTS tokens have a real intrinsic value being secured by a USD capital invested in the most profitable crypto hedge funds worldwide.

Please see more details at www.elements.cx or send us an email to info@elements.cx if you are interested.

NEVER PANIC SELL, believe in your analysis, rather, analyze the market carefully before
you enter a trade, that way, you wouldn't think of panic selling.

as long as I do trading, there is actually only one thing that always makes me feel that I continue to experience failure. when I began to feel that I was very difficult to control my emotions, I began to stop trading because trading would always fail if I could not control emotions.
Yes, control emotion is important for trading, your emotion Will affect a lot when you want to make decision on trading. If you can't control your emotion you can make a wrong decision and finally you will loss your money. Trading is not easy so when we decided to do it we have ready to take all the risk of trading.

Im not a full time trader so i trade oftenly. I usually hold coins because its easier to manage than trading. I once trade with a not so popular coin and end up losing. Gladly i dont put all my money and it and its just an experimental investment. So i try to invest on popular coins started on that.
One thing that you must remember and you should never forget is that trading volatile markets is very difficult, for many investors and traders bitcoin is volatile enough, and yet many people that want to multiply their money even faster decide to invest in some new projects with very low market caps and if you do that at that time you are relying in nothing more than your luck to earn money and that is never a good thing.

while trading you have to see the market and according to it you have to trade, yesterday when market was up i was in long position but as soon as i saw market is bleeding i changed my position from long to short even when i was having little profit but i took double short position and earned lost coins and got profit also. So in any situation you can do trading only thing is you have to guess the market and take position.

one must be able to see the situation, if we look at the graph 2 years ago as in the beginning of 2017 and the beginning of 2016 is like that. for a new bitcoin player if he can't predict well and if he buys bitcoin and sees the price fall and because of panic they sell it wrong. they will lose. if I personally I always hold my coin when the price goes down. although it dropped to 70%. because it's faster the price will rise again and exceed the purchase price. and that's where the benefits are.

It means that you are unlearned about trading and what is happening with it in different market conditions so if you have all this information and knowledge then your trading experience will be positive and now you have negative experience so you must proceed to learn first.

I have seen many traders as they are having a good time in the crypto world besides which they have a lot of knowledge about it that is why they know better how to deal with different market conditions.

Mistakes are always bound to happen and then we only have to learn from them before proceeding. I have had my own little bad times in trading as well, and I have always learned one way or the other from it. One thing with trading is that it is not something you can just simply get a full grasp of in just a short time as you would really need to practice a lot even after learning and then gradually gain confidence over time.

My trading experience lately has been good and I am happy I keep learning every day to get better even though I have been making good trades so far. This is because, to ensure staying competitive in this every growing market, we must keep learning continuously so that no market will not surprise us.

Due to far more  expectations that my asset was going to be much higher price, but sadly I was wrong. That's my worst trading experience to expose here, and maybe if I dump during that time I might be wealthy person who grabbed the opportunity quickly.

I can not say that I trade in the market: I select perspective icoghjtrns in my opinion and invest in the early stages, at the very beginning it is very profitable. I gather the most information, follow the project, consult with more experienced friends. Next, I decide how interesting it is to keep coins or sell them in the beginning. Since the purchase is mainly for digital coins - I use them - I keep it - I get that I also invest in this way. I think that the currency will now grow well and this will very much give growth to assets.

try to be really patient, because the crypto price prediction is very difficult so if we have a target, make sure some supporting factors are met.
1. Trend market supports bull run
2. Don't use financial allocations in full
3. Buy gradually, so sometimes the price will dump for temporary even after we buy those coins

I often determine exactly where the market started to buy in the coins I analyzed before because if the trend was not bought in the coin, the risk of the market going against the trend. Your predictions are huge. The certainty of investing is essential to being able to survive in this market.

True - the books will be helpful for you. You'd better also stay longer on this Forum and listen to the advice of experienced traders. This video will be also a very good help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-qYym-i1_8

My trading experience so far is trying to get a low price and then sell at the high price. But this does not always work because I cannot predict where the market wants to go and only patience that I can do to wait for the price to increase. Besides that, I think sometimes I feel too difficult to find a good coin to buy because there are too many coins in the market and it makes me hard to decide. And if I have this feeling, I only follow what is the top 50 coin list on the market cap so I can have a chance to make a profit.

Which part of trading would you want to learn? I think you need to start somewhere specific. Perhaps you will have to begin in getting yourself familiar with cryptocurrency prices and their candle movements. And then learn the particular patterns that their prices possibly create. And perhaps you will need to choose a trading platform after which. Choose a specific one that has the most friendly navigation, that which you can find easy to familiarize. And then start with a small amount.

Please read a lot of materials about crypto trading.

I traded with Gunbot for a long time. Its OK-ish but this market does not allow you to make profits with bot trading. Better learn basic TA and start swing trading. Guaranted better results and you need only like 30 min daily. With bots you need babysitting and waste even more time.

Learning yourself is always a very good way to guarantee yourself some good results in the long run. Also, there is that confidence on the market that comes on you with the ability to make certain market decisions without having to worry about the next decisions to make since you already have it all planned out. Trading requires one to always have a strategy and over the years, I have learned that without a strategy, you will just be busy gambling the market.

At first I knew about trading from my friend, at first I didn't understand what trading was? how can you benefit from trading? Can trading be trusted?
then I started trying to trade on bitcoin,
at that time the price of Bitcoin was still 1800 Dollars and I was trading with capital of 500 Dollars. after 1 month there was no result then I transferred to my bank account but after a few weeks later the price is like fly to the moon and I was very depressed.
Depression at the end of the day is usually one thing that would always set in when you just hear about trading and feel you can just hit the charts immediately and start making profit.

Trading requires knowledge and you can only get that from learning, it requires high level of experience and there is absolutely no way you can get that without having to practice for a while, but because a lot of people just heard they can make profit from trading, it would just come by easily.

It won't work because you are looking at it from the wrong perspective. Trading is not just some game in which you make decisions whenever you feel like, you are going to have to be making your trades based on some certain criteria and strategy and then make decisions based on that, whereas you still put at the back of your mind that no one can know exactly what the future holds and be ready to set your stop loss as the case may be. Trading experiences will always be good as long as you do not rush and you take your time to do it well and do it right.

you are a beginner in trading, so don't use big money. use as you dare to lose. I started trading only using $ 20 in 2014. I started with my friend, he was a trader. so I was taught to read patterns, candles, lines, etc. I think you should be accompanied by expert traders. my experience to trade is very much. and average emotion. because I can't control when prices go up or down. so use patience, relax, and set targets.

I do not have that much experience when it comes to trading, but I already earned here in cryptoworld through trading my coins. I have traded my coins in a large of money.
If you really do not have a lot of experience in trading it is entirely possible that you just got lucky, and if that is the case you should probably avoid trading because sooner or later you're going to lose all your money, I know that this sounds wrong especially since you have earned money with your trades but if you keep doing that the only fate that you will have in this market is to lose.

Started to trade with a small capital and further increased my knowledge in trading understanding the market. Now have been making myself active into the process of regular buying and selling of altcoins for bitcoin. This is all because of the increasing market and growth with bitcoin. Hope will make a bigger earning in the upcoming days.

Everyday for me is a learning experience in trading. What I thought can be applied in a trade that I made last week cant be applied in a trade that I made today. No trade is the same. The phrase "Buy Low, Sell High" is easier said than done. Trading will test your patience. While its true that one single pump of coin/token can change your life, one dump can shatter all your dreams.

low prices there are no standards, as well as high prices. but for me every price enters the support area, it is a low price. and do not let us spend capital to buy at one price, we must prepare to enter market in next support area

My trading experience at first was like a baby that had no idea at what I was doing. It is more like a trial and error for me. I did this and that and many mistakes. It was not based on research but thank God I managed to make a lot of money in this market.
at the beginning it was natural to experiment to be able to benefit from trading and become a natural thing because even now I even though I have learned it still often gets a loss

try to be really patient, because the crypto price prediction is very difficult so if we have a target, make sure some supporting factors are met.
1. Trend market supports bull run
2. Don't use financial allocations in full
3. Buy gradually, so sometimes the price will dump for temporary even after we buy those coins
For the last option, buying gradually is actually always a very good option for someone who is trying to follow trend, and that still implies the fact that not forgetting where to put your stop loss should also be one of the things that is necessary to use when you are making certain market decisions, either bullish or bearish as the case may be.

A lot of people tend not to put their minds on the advantages that comes with using stop loss, and that really affects a lot in a market that has potential to go downward the more.

We should focus on the altcoin that is on the coinmarketcap charts such as ETH, XRP, EOS, XLM. Because these are the Altcoins that change the market price very quickly so we trade them in a very short time of profit. Bitcoins should be kept just right and in the long run. You need to be decisive in the new times to bring fast profits

Try to learn trading and be rest assured that crypto trading is whole lot different than any other style of trading. It's good to see that you're ready to take risks but IMHO, there won't be such high levels of risks associated with crypto trading nowadays as there's blood on the streets everywhere, and when such situation occurs, there come FUDders and dumpsters who try to make you fall for them and either buy during wrong time or sell them your already purchased crypto, be it at these prices or higher. Know one thing that this is currently the best time to get in those valuable projects which have the potential to grow when bull run takes place (which is going to happen soon, but can't really predict when). As hyper bull run enters markets, those markets with great projects are going to boost back to those 20, 50 and even 100x and will give unbelievable returns.

I've had the worst experience during these days as firstly, I went all in and second, the markets turned the tables. I had my portfolio invested in Pundi X which was an awesome experience when it was rising, but GREED. I didn't sell at the right time and waited for it to go Binance and bang, I got fucked. I still had a chance to sell but I was in the hope that Pundi would recover, which it didn't. The sell-off was so massive that many of the investors started complaining about their monthly 7.xx% airdrop program. They changed it as well, but nothing changed. Moral: Never invest what you can't afford to lose, and if you're in profit, don't go greedy and take it out when in green.

THAts too risky to expect for a daytraders in this bearish market, and if you did for sure losses will face you

This part of crucial market trading 3-7% is big enough to do so,and if it gets 10% well thats a bonus already.i have been trading for sometimesnd based on my personal experiences the dip market is advisable for small profit as long as it dos several times a day or per days

Determining the right coin can increase our chances of making substantial profits in trading. Coin that has good potential can also provide comfort for all of us. This is an opportunity, so for me that there is no perfect strategy because everything really depends on the situation and conditions that exist in the field. Trading is indeed a job that definitely requires analysis, but when we do it in the field, luck will also play a role in determining the results to be obtained.

The accuracy in analyzing the market is the main thing that we need to put forward. Market analysis is an analysis or arrangement to study various market problems. Market analysis will involve market location, market size, market nature and market characteristics. This thing is intended to find out, which coins have the potential, generate huge profits in trading. The success of a trader can be measured by the accuracy of the "trading strategy" that he applies on the basis paying attention to the situation and conditions of his market analysis.

Many people buy are buying right now for they are looking to have maximum profit in the end that is why the cheap availability of Bitcoin is making the market start its increase trend and we are observing increase these days which is a positive sign.

I have no practical experience in trading but only have the knowledge of it, so I am also in the entrance.  Trading is always successful if you have proper management and aware of every market step.

Once you start dealing with it you will have to make decisions according to market conditions, if you say it is loss here I will say it is no loss if you do not sell on low price. You can hold it till high market because these are your savings and you can wait for it without any hurry.

I’ve been trading for a while now, but I’m not yet perfect so I’m always careful when I’m trading. Sometimes I lose and when that happens I always try to cut my loss. Another thing is that I don’t go all in when I’m trading, I just take a few percentage and trade with it and make a little profit, by the end of the day it amounts to a huge profit.

A part from trading I have other jobs I’m doing and that’s how I was able to raise the money I used to start up trading. Trading is really good and all it takes is patience.

currently the market situation is very unstable, most of the crypto is experiencing price drops continuously. and make trading difficult to predict. I personally use scalping techniques to make a profit. around 2% to 5% is my profit target every day at this time. so that it remains safe for daily profits. so if you want to trade. hope to be careful. because of the greater risk at this time.

Probably the best thing that you can do if you're thinking to become a trader is to wait, you need to be completely sure that you are ready to become a trader, because in theory it is very easy to become a trader but once you are there and you are trying to obtain profits from the markets that is when you realize that this is a very difficult profession that only a handful of people can do.

Since i start working in trading i have zero knowledge but thanks for the google and specially herein forum actually  trading job is none stop learning and studying job why because we need to monitor the market movements.

And specially we need follow wihich coins become potentially increase in the market before to buy as trader's
So traders need to buy token depends on their strategy to get percentage of profits

The only thing that you can do right now is keeping continue to search any profitable coin so you can make a profit. In this time, we are difficult to find which coin that can increase and that is our job to find the coin. Once you can find the coin, make sure you have a target buy and sell so you can directly place the order and wait until it's filled. You don't have to think about how much profit you can get from the trading, but you only need to remember that you should always make a profit in any amount.

My trading experiences makes me feel sometimes disappointed because after decided to do trading within this day, in the following days my coins that I was traded was rising up in price with one day gap only, from the time when I was doing trade with it. But the happiest moment also is reversible when I was doing trading with high coin price succeesfully, then after a few hours the market prices goes down deeply. So with this experienced I can say that cryptocurrency is volatile and unpredictable at all times.

When I am just starting, I am easily swayed and panic buy or sell but now, I already have a trading plan that can help me in reducing my risk of incurring a bigger loss.

Since you are just a beginners in trading a will recommend to you that consider short term holding than daytrading because its very risky to expect profit in a 24 hours cycle.so better not to go for starting trading
And try to diversify you money instead in putting in single coin or token

One day I sold all my coins for very low price and the very next day the price reached to half a dollar. When I calculate the price of yesterday and the current, I lost about more than $100000 just in one night. This is because of the wrong decision of selling my coins.

Exactly! If you cannot analyze the market effectively and at the same time, have a plan, a goal and a strategy, trading will always be a difficult and the chances of always losing is always going to be high.

My experience span across the early stage of trying to trade and being in a rush to start until I realized, if you really want to do things right, take your time to get to know all you need to first, gain some demo experience, before you even start going in real life. It is during this demo experience that you gain some confidence on your trade and you will be able to make better decisions over time.

Although you are not involved in day trading but over time, you should start and become a day trader because you can see the market has changed a lot when compared to the past, we can not hold and wait, it can only be waiting for death. We need to be more flexible in order to make a profit in the day, it will reduce the danger always stalking in the back, and my experience is that you should run into this battlefield on a constant, high frequency and with small capital, the experience will automatically accumulate and you will grow

When i start cryptocurrency trading on that time i'm lose some money because i don't have a perfect knowledge about trading so i lose some money and i don't know how to create stop lose trade. Stop lose trade is very impotent for trader. at the moment i make a better knowledge in trading section and i'm start day trading. People always want to start day trading and so many people lose his money in trading section, without any knowledge never start day trading if you don't want to lose your money in a short time.

This is what makes the market so difficult to trade, when you are trading it seems as if nothing goes in right direction and then when you stop trading for the day the market begins to move in the way that you were expecting all along, but you must remember that when you trade you need to be in complete control of your risk because the point of trading is to survive all of those trades that do not give you profits and still be in the market when a movement in your favour happens.

Yes, that's what's called the nature of the market the market will continue to move and cannot be predicted by anyone not even once the pattern of market movements is often the opposite of what we think/expect.

Among all crypto trading tips, you need to remember one thing: you may not make a profit which is significant quickly. You must not exclude that chances are you will have an advantage even after countless days. You must believe in technology which drives the price of your favorite cryptocurrency. For traders, keep your profits safe when the market's bearish.

Started to trade with a small capital and further increased my knowledge in trading understanding the market. Now have been making myself active into the process of regular buying and selling of altcoins for bitcoin. This is all because of the increasing market and growth with bitcoin. Hope will make a bigger earning in the upcoming days.
The one thing that I always say to people that are starting to trade is to take their time, the markets are always going to be there and you will always have a chance to make profits in them but the first thing that you need to do is to learn the basics and learn to survive in the market, because that is the way that you make money, once you learn that you can trade with all your capital.

Hello,

I was joined in crypto world almost one year ago. In this period, I am continuously learning from here and also work here. That's why I got some money and from those money I save some. Now, I want to start trading though the market situation isn't good now but I want to do this. I am also ready to take risk.

I have no trading experience because I never sell my coins from the time I bought. I will sell them all when the price crosses $30000 no matter how much time it will take.

I have big dreams for my future and I want to fulfill then in my life. For that I need big money and for big money bitcoin is the only source. I think that the price will rise in the future. People will put their money in bitcoin because it is the most favorable crypto in the world.

Crypto trading depends on bitcoin price so always focus on bitcoin price. When bitcoin down most of the coin must be down so this time only for buy coin and hold until price up. Some time bitcoin price stable so this time you can start a short time trade but its risk.So i advised that always try to low profit but growth your asset.

I chose the way of investment and profit is the best ico projects. My experience is more than half a year and there were different projects. Now, thanks to a lot of experience, I find projects that can give the best results. It is good to enter at the beginning - as a rule, these are good discounts or bonuses. Further, it depends on the success of the team, how strongly the project is advertised and claimed by the sponsors.

In my experience you have good and bad days. You can make all preparation you wish and to not make a profit, there are trades where you don`t expect anything but they bring huge profit. From my experience all you need is a big wish, some free time and big balls to get into some risky trades. It`s what I generally do, I`m trying things, I`m testing bottoms or tops, I don`t have good timing with every trade. It`s practically impossible to have good timing all the time, be free to try things, sometimes take a look what others do, follow them, sometimes do something unexpected, you never know what tomorrow will bring, trading is a risky thing so it`s the best to be prepared to good and bad outcome.

Buying and selling isn't only a few game in which you make selections every time you sense like, you will need to be making your trades based totally on a few sure standards and approach and then make choices primarily based on that, whereas you continue to placed at the back of your thoughts that nobody can know precisely what the destiny holds and be ready to set your prevent loss as the case can be done successfully.

Current market situation, in conditions that are very boring or stagnant. Because the step up and down is not so big, for example bitcoin and ethereum. Stagnant market conditions remain good, this thing has an advantage for small and medium traders. Because of this kind of market crypto prices are usually very predictable.

All has been said so i think those are enough for you to have some good strategies, but what i can contribute specially in this not suitable market is

1.Be contented in small profit even 3-5% are acceptable than losing

2.Never get into coins that slow moving because the tendency is the funds might trapped by the value

Hope this could help some good things in future

Market conditions at this time are already good enough, therefore we need to be patient in waiting for the situation to be much better. Trading requires a lot of supporting components, it is like doing a good analysis and determining when the right momentum in making a decision.

This fairly stable market condition must be able to be utilized by every trader, patience and proper emotional control are the keys to getting satisfactory results.

Experience will also have a significant impact, the more experience a trader has, the trader will get closer to success.

10 to 30% profit in a single trade while day trading? That is a whole lot to take in, most especially when it is a market that is surely not that friendly when it comes to trend and in this case bear market as you have said.

Day trading comes with a low percentage per trade, which you can always take consistently and maybe for the day accrue up to that, but I really would not say this is something that even would be easy to attain in a bear market and most times, a lot of day traders just tend to keep out when the market is very hot on the way down.

Well, personally if you want to build trading experience, you’d better to make a clear plan  and then afterward you yourself try to do your plan proactively and practically, don’t wait and ask another people sharing their trading experience, it's not a good idea. Because each person has different context as well as different trouble, meanwhile, the market is continually volatile, it’s not in the same fluctuation. Therefore, when you yourself do trading practically, you wil understand more and also learn from your mistake or something like that will help you build a wealth of solid experience.  it's just my advice. Wish you soon having a world of experience so that you can reach a large fruits.

This is natural. No one can do business or trade or invest in something if he doesn’t feel satisfied with environmental needs. Plus, mostly people get fear of volatility, they must digest it.

Since crypto has high fluctiacion we should be learn about risk management first. There are some crypto already dumped 90%  but after that the price not any sign to going up and the price keep down to 99%. When you start in to crypto trading we have to know first the risk and after that make trading plan to minimize that risk.

One of the things that I think is most important in the area of investment is patience and financial management experience. I have failed many times to let my mind worry about money and monthly bills.
We should invest in planning and follow that plan. We also have no hesitation when making the final decision. That's what I learned a lot from the crypto market.

Ok, trading is a great decision even in such a volatile market. But you need to pay your attention to stop losses orders to protect yourself from risks. This is an inherent part of your trading strategy when the market is so volatile. Stop losses help trader exit when the price reaches a determined rate. The most popular stop loss is a Stop Loss Market Order. When the price reaches stop loss mark, your broker automatically closes the trade. Also, in order to get useful information about how to trade in so volatile market, you need to get a consultation from more experienced traders. It will become possible with new educational and trading platform Newconsort.

Many investors are backing out because there is no profits in this industry. However, many people are still convince to invest and trade. I have no plan right now because I do not want to be defeated in trading and loss a lot. I just wait for the perfect moment when market goes up.

At the beginning of my trading, i used think cryptocurrency is the best way to make money but after Bitcoin price is decreased many altcoins lost their value. So instead of trading, it is better to hold the coins in the market because most of the coins losing their value in the market. Instead of loosing in trading better to hold them until the market starts increasing.

Instead of loosing in trading better to hold them until the market starts increasing.
when I start trading, I think holding back is everything. however, I am wrong, the most important thing in trading is taking the opportunity when you trade. well, whatever happens, you have to try to make the transformation end in your favor.
Maybe holding is good if you are investor. Trader  must know when to buy and sell in right time to get profit. I mean it is not only to be long term trader but in short time when we see we get profit, we can take profit from our trading activity.

holding the cryptocurrency that you have is a very good step to anticipate losses, but you should be able to find out which cryptocurrency is suitable for you to save and has the potential to give you a lot of benefits.

My trading experience is experiencing a decline in profit and this is natural for a trader, but for now I have advice for traders before starting a trader must see and analyze the coins which will be chosen so that profits are always earned.

In some beginning I thought I can make good profit with daily trading, and I traded a lot but I lost more than I made. After some time I realized how better for me is to trade long term, to buy potential coins and just wait for them to rise one day. I never dump everything I have, I wait good opportunity to get back into some coins. You need to know something about trading, every coin is different, every time I`m making a decision its based on current market state, for some I believe that will rise, I buy them, for the ones I think that will drop more I wait. You need to have a lot of patience and strong nerves for any kind of trading, short or long, practice those two skills.

My trading experience is not so high, its just simply trade. I like to trade via Ethereum and maximum of time I spend my time for trade with ETC, Steem and Doge. Those are little and they gives me a small profit. I am satisfied. When some big amount I used for trading, it gives me something extra money. But I like to trade with small figure amount.

I joined cryptocurrencies trading in 2016 and it has been a blessing to me.  I could remember that cryptocurrencies market investments is what makes me rich.  Last year I bought a Lexus  from the money I make from cryptocurrencies.  I think I have not have a bad days and even if I have it is very little because of the benefits I have gotten from the market.  I also think that bitcointalk has also be a blessing to me because everything I know about cryptocurrencies, I learned them from here.

Hey! I have a little experience in the cryptocurrency market and I'd like to say that my trading experience has been up and down. When I started trading coins I lost my two accounts on the cryptocurrency exchanges. I was disrupted by the volatility of the crypto market. Also, I need to say that a lot of newbies lose on trading the first time until they have a luck to be educated by a more experienced trader. Also, recently I met information on Quora about new cryptocurrency trading and educational platform NewConsort that will provide every newbie with a great opportunity to improve their skills.

yes, i like that too. I am not too expert in trading. now I only trade lightly by selling some of the assets that I get. well, however, I used to target potential coins to buy. but, most of my experience ended in loss.

There is no mystery that every one of us builds up their very own style of trading with time and the place where they do. In any case, I believe that there are a few significant things which we have to remember. As a matter of first importance, you shouldn't tune in to what others state. Without a doubt, it's alright to contemplate somebody's recommendation, however you shouldn't aimlessly pursue anybody's assessment. It's likewise essential to comprehend what would you like to manage crypto.

Crypto has very high fluctuacion, the price possible to going up to 1000% just in amonth but also possible going down to more than 90%, so with this high fluctuacion we can make alot of profit by make open potition long or short if we understanding the trend. Currently the price of all crypto dumped hard and afew month already in sideaway so now its times to buy it.  No body know how high the price will going when uptrend so use stop loss and trailling stop will help to minimize the risk and to increase the profit.

I constantly study information on bitcointalk and read all the available articles on the forum and at the same time try to listen to the professional opinions of other traders and still I do not have those results that I would like to talk about.  Perhaps the external state of the cryptocurrency market does not allow me to succeed, but nevertheless the daily trading by another trader brings a fairly good profit.

You can always learn how to profit from trading regardless of the market situation. The fact that you are willing to risk it is good, but do not let your emotions make the decision for you. This is the most important thing to learn when trading.

joy and sorrow is certainly often experienced by traders. I think the first thing to do is be able to control both. I once failed trading until the price of the token dump, but I also felt the pump. be normal to deal with it, because trading is taking advantage of opportunities

What I saw from you, you never stop learning that's one of the good factor you shouldn't stop. Never put all your eggs in one basket pal, I don't know if you know what I mean. Don't focus in one coins/altcoins neither in one exchange only also. You must always make a research of some potentials coins in the market that has a potential to increase its value in the future. Always check the updates top altcoins and exchange at the coinmarketcap.

In any case, we must have certain experience or basic knowledge in order to at least understand, for example, at least those tips that professionals can give.  The best for this is to take a small start-up capital and do practical exercises yourself.

Absolutely right, rise and fall is part of our life but we only have to learn how we can deal it wisely, try to buy some coin when the price is low, then sell it when it will be higher, when I bought some bitcoin in 2018 price was very low but now I am holding with patience as I know soon price will be high then I will be able to trade profitably and this is my actual strategy to trade.
