Title: New user post requirements Post by: trancegeek on October 21, 2011, 04:57:51 PM It is absolutely pointless to require a minimum number of posts to PM users, and get into certain forums. Yes, it's supposed to help with scammers and spammers. No, it's not effective, it just encourages people who would otherwise not spam, to spam to get their post count up. Counterproductive, much.
Edit: It is also the reason I have not made an account on this forum up until now, even though I've been active in the Bitcoin community for a few months. I suggest a way to link your otc account to your forum account. If you have enough ratings on otc, then you should get auto-whitelisted here.
