Title: Facebook reasons forbid crypto ads
Post by: Askend on August 21, 2018, 11:56:13 AM
Many say that Facebook, Twitter and so on forbid crypto advertisements because they don't like and don't want to receive crypto, but the reason is not that, the main reason why Facebook and Google block ads is that most of the advertisements are scams. That is to say, Facebook tries to minimize so that not many investors are deceived by the lure offered from the fake site.

I think they finally realised that banning cryptocurrencies does more harm than brings any good. More and more big companies are opening themselves for blockchain.

and this is old information, I agree with you, that the main purpose of the facebook action is to provide a filter for each crypto ads, so not only investors get a safety, but everyone involved in the crypto world.

I hope there is no other information to create a FUD, because Facebook CEO supports the positive on crypto development.

Google has started accepting crypto advertising again and I'm sure the others will follow. Facebook is planning on releasing their own cryptocurrency and I'm sure Google is developing something similar.

Can you link to some proof that FB is developing their own coin please?

I know that coinbase ads are rolling on facebook, so they allow "crypto ads" as well. But it might be harder to get whitelisted there

The rumors of a FB aren't confirmed but there's been some strong hints, most insiders believe one will be coming up.

Also yes, Facebook has a whitelist to allow crypto ads but it's very very difficult to get there and they're very backed up because of the number of people applying to get whitelisted...I heard it took coinbase a few months to get approval.

Actaully facebook is seen so too much trouble after data leakage, That's why they want to get away from controversial things.
What we have seen on facebook is ICO ads and most of ICOs are Scam now a days, That's why facebook wants to take distance from them.

Last June 26, facebook reversed its ban on cryptocurrency ads with the policy of that ads should be pre-approved. This is one way not to make facebook an accomplished to scams. In line with this, ICO are still ban on facebook. This move is for the integrity and security of facebook.

Pretty late on the realizations buddy. People have been saying this for months already.

Facebook planning on releasing their own cryptocurrency is just a rumor(for now, at least). The claims were only that they were interested in blockchain.
