Can anyone tell me what kind of regulator this was and which spare part I'd have to order ?

Its a old XFX 5770, the burned regulator is on top of the card, right next to the crossfire plug.

Thanks

Ouch...

If no one answers you here, I would suggest, hit up a guru forums.

Any three are well forums, and most likely get the answers you're asking for.

Edit:
If the original bios without bios modifications is on that card, RMA it.

Thanks, I'll try the other forums, I have no idea which bios is on the card, I've got it from a friend, it was already fried.

If he has the warranty on the card, he may transfer the warranty to you. XFX has double lifetime warranties for their cards.
