Title: Some tips for newcomers to the cryptocurrency market
Post by: lamthanh3462342 on August 23, 2018, 04:41:32 PM
This market is a market that is manipulated. We have miners who verify transactions, have additional insider trading floors, ICOs, pump and dump assemblies, sharks and whales, things they do. is to make a profit for themselves rather than anyone else. With a person you do not know, do you think they can withstand heat? There may be people who are really good but no one can say anything, preferably not one.
Second, the cryptocurrency market is not like the stock market, in cryptocurrency we have cryptography, blockchain technology, market psychology, economics, etc., and many other applications can be applied to the field, So when someone says they are expert in the field of cryptocurrency, get them aside.

Yes, you are right this market is manipulated, just like the us dollar, Euro, franc and other currencies. Why are you surprised? There is now a Trade war is America to China announced, is also manipulation. Well, we feel better.... We need to go on living and working. So less surprised by the usual.

This you learn in the youtube channel and the website of each country have. The first step, the new person. They write a lot and how important you do. New people should learn skills and psychology before joining. Do not go through greed and thoughtless action will not have good results. Everything else is theoretical. ;)

I agree the most with last post the best tip of all is do your reaserch before you invest ,when you are ready to invest dont just listen to someone else opinion and rush up, better stop think twice and do your resarch twice try to collect as much information you can...many of us did that mistake to invest before you fully understand in what youre getting your self into ,because its not just understanding basic things about crypto its about understanding how blockchain technology works

I suggest the newbies to take their time to study how cryptocurrency works and dont hastily go into trading or they will meet their moneys demised. More knowledge about cryptocurrecny trading more chance of getting profits. There are many groups and article you can find on the internet that is useful to help them know about trading mechanics.

i agree with all. Just invest what you can afford to lose, get comfortable with and not get in financial difficulty if everything goes bad. Don't go fomo on coins that rise high in price in a couple of days. Wait for a good buy in. I learned from my mistakes and i rather miss a good deal than fomo on a coin that does not go up anymore. Wish the newcomers all good luck.

Cryptocurrency market is exactly like stock market, except not that big stock market, but penny stock market. Both markets are volatile, sensible to news, rumors and manipulation, have pumps and dumps and tons of scams. I won't be surprised if many of the ICO and altcoin scammers actually have background in penny stocks or at least borrowed a few tricks from them. The other similarity is high rate of failure among honest startups, because the tech is highly experimental and not easy to apply. Only Bitcoin is different here, because unlike alts it has strong fundamentals, yet still it's quite volatile and subject to manipulation.

From the explanation above, it is clear that crypto market is indeed speculative. and the risk of whales manipulation is also great. therefore my advice is for newcomers, it is better to focus on the bounty campaign, while studying the crypto market well.

The manipulation is true and no guarantee that it will be true if they say they expert and the market price will grow rapidly they actually trying to manipulate as. Don't always base on other opinion make your own research about what our the risk in that time and what kind of market will be come in the next few days. always take as 2nd or 3rd opinion what the other people say always the big invetors get the most profit in trading.

Way to forearm the newbies  in engaging in cryptocurrency!
Well, I have to say the manipulation in crypto market is very strong, not only because their are individuals who possesed great amount of Bitcoins, but also the involvement of some exchanges in a cases like that. Infact, one of the few reasons why the Bitcoin ETF's proposal has been denied again, is because of the presence of fradulent and manipulative activities in crypto space. Anything new about cryptocurrency? Nothing much but more scam ICO's. Despite all of these negativities, still cryptocurrency is one of the very profitable investment if youre doing it right.

So is the only reason behind etf denial is the rampant manipulation in crypto markets by whales? If this is real then someone will make a move to end this war from whales the riches becomes very rich because while the real uses of this digital assets are ignored then digital currencies might die soon what we need is the real adoption and organic users not manipulators just for money making.

The cryptocurrency market is very unstable and as you can see right now we have been in multiple dips since the all time market high last year, and the market has become stagnant without new players and investors in the market. For a newbie in this market he or she should already be aware of this fact and adapt to what the market status and have a different strategy depending on it and the only way to have that is by constant learning.

this is all we suspect of the pope and all will think in that direction, because people's predictions must be the same that the pope has a specific purpose with conditions like this which means they also want an abundant profit, now back to us as owners of bitcoin can we survive hold bitcoin? so that the pope fails to achieve his goals, instead we must dare to come out and go with the flow.

Invest only what you can afford to lose.
Don't go with the hype.
Acquire some knowledge about cryptocurrencies, when is the good time to buy or not.
Don't believe to people offering some too good to be true profits.
Do some research before investing on icos.

I think these are the basics newbies should learn and from their experiences with it they will learn more.

Yes you should invest if you think that you can afford to lose that kind of amount or invest if you are confident that you will be holding the coin for a very long time.

This market is a market that is manipulated.
Any time the market crashes, people cry out that it's manipulated.  All markets are "manipulated" to some extent, but usually it's just market forces--buying and selling--in play.  Bitcoin is probably more susceptible to actual manipulation IF the person doing the manipulation has enough money to do it.  If you compare bitcoin to Apple stock, for example, you'd have to do much less buying or selling to move the price, though it's still a lot.  In general, I don't buy it when people claim the market is manipulated.  You hear that quite a bit about precious metals, but there hasn't been great evidence that there's been some sort of coordinated effort to suppress prices (or inflate them).

In addition, I'd agree that bitcoin isn't a stock.  That should be obvious.  But its price does go up and down, very much like a stock price and unlike many currencies.  Yes, there is the cryptography and all of that but ultimately its prone to the market forces of supply and demand, just like a stock is.  That is independent of the nature of crypto, or of what a stock represents.

Best advice is do your own research, dont fall into pump and dumps, or worthless altcoins. 95 percent of altcoins are just here to extract bitcoin or in some cases ether. Dont play with more than you can lose, and be strong, as markets are tough.

The best way to invest is to pick a few Crypto currencies and and hold them for a long time. There's a lot of Crypto currencies to choose but it’s best to choose some that have a lot of support already and have good technology. However,We know that investing in crypto currency is too risky but you should invest only if you think that you can afford to lose.

Stop using that 'the market is being manipulated' as an excuse sometimes cause most people do it. All market are being manipulated by some whale investors for personal gains but you as a minor investor can still seize that opportunity and make your own gains too. The main trick there is to be on alert and know the majors to take. Another thing you should bear in mind is to verify any news before acting on them.

You got it right. There's a bit of manipulation, but the trend plays out regardless. We are in a bear market now and you won't be making as much money as you would in a bull market. You will also have to wait much longer for a significant move. In bull market I used to wake up every day to higher prices. Now it can be 2 or 3 weeks without any move up or down apart from 2% here and there. Somehow nobody is complaining about manipulation when we're going straight up.

As a newcomer one must know all the advantages and disadvantages of coin in which he is investing.Major thing he must be a risk taker. He must have all the knowledge and information regarding coins and only then invest. He should not invest all his amount. As a fresher he must invest some amount out of it and then try to understand what exactly  cryptomarket is.He must understand that fluctuations are common in cryptomarket.

When you make statements like this, you are doing more harm than good especially for those who are newcomers into the market as statement underscores the importance of hardworking and compensation for it. Its a known unprovable with undeniable fact that the market is being manipulated by some cabals but people who have no connection to any of them still make some decent earnings from trading and other activities in the crypto space. That's is what should be propagated and not words of  discouragement.

The crypto is not like the stock market where people needs some level of education or licence from a professional body to operate in. Here, understanding buying and selling is enough to make a decent returns with some understanding of the workings of the market of course.

My advice for the new comers is that they should never lose their patience. They must invest in capable coins such as BTC,ETH etc and should keep trust on the coin in which they are investing. This market is very unstable. Many fluctuations will be observed in the price. So never ever feel that you will lose your money.Stay positive because the market will recover and you will get gainful investments.

You should first find out through the market. Actually every problem is very simple. But we make it difficult for ourselves. Newcomers should play the pre-market test. Then have experience and start participating in this field. Find out who succeeded and failed. They will give us a really valuable lesson, which is the fastest way to learn.

Do not react too quickly, never invest on a hype and wait it out, even if you are going to buy something for sure, sleep on it and wait for the next day, if you did your research and know what you are going to buy and you are sure for it and slept on it and the next day you are still interested on that than you can buy it.

Before all of this if you buy on a hype and get the feeling of you are going to become rich you will be sad for a long time. My friends who made the most of crypto world have consistently be the ones who took the smaller gains instead of waiting for the 10x or so returns, they just get that 5% and leave it alone.

"Ask if you don`t know what to do", that is interesting one. But for asking a good question, smart one, you need to know at least some things, do at least a bit research on your own, to get into the matter and like that question you ask will be direct and like that you can get some good answers. Even better is "Spend a little more time on reading other`s posts", I think that people, most of the people here don`t do that at all, they just come and make a comment without reading the topic, they just see headline, wrote their opinion which is in most cases very stupid and shallow, but nobody can`t come to an end of that. Thymos made some new rules, people can check it out in meta section, we will see what will come from that. Good advice`s for sure, I recommend this two more than others, people should start to read more, and asks proper questions.

Yeah, thats the simple play here. Dont get involved in more than few crypto currencies which are not affordable to us to buy and later wait for them to go to new heights so that we can sell them for the profits. Now profit making is the real deal here and if we are not making our way through it then we cant earn enough from it. If you want sustain here then step is to gain control over the coins which are cheap and also having good market status as well. Choosing of the coins is very important as it can give us portfolio that we can choose for long term holding with huge profits along the way.

Help these newcomers know the least of the basics in the terminologies.

One of the basics is emotion but it is very difficult to control even as an experienced trader.
Another is money management, knowing how to invest and how to trade.
Diversification also is important. Buying different coins either to hodl or trade.
