Is this an old intel board? After 6 years of making AMD systems I've never seen any of those settings.

It is to help you in over clocking.

lol it matters what your definition of old is... I think this mobo was released around 3 years ago, its an Intel P45 LGA775 with a Core2Quad CPU , it is a gigabyte board which actually has the best bios for overclocking i have ever seen , tons of settings, the one before it was an Abit and this one is better...

Thanks I understand now, another quick question, do you think PCI Express clock speed would have an effect on mining speed? My assumption is that it won't just want to be sure.

It won't. People have run PCI-e x16 cards in x1 slots without a drop in speed.
