Title: Post Count "leet"
Post by: Daboy_Lyle on August 31, 2018, 09:03:38 AM
What does "leet" means?
Quote
Leet
(in England) a yearly or half-yearly court of record that the lords of certain manors held.
Is this the meaning of the leet here on the forum?
I saw a member with a leet word on the post count.

Probably "easter egg" that Theymos put. But to be exact here's a definition of "Leet".

Quote
Leet (or "1337"), also known as eleet or leetspeak, is a system of modified spellings and verbiage used primarily on the Internet for many[citation needed] phonetic languages. It uses some ASCII characters to replace Latinate characters in ways that play on the similarity of their glyphs via reflection or other resemblance. Additionally, it modifies certain words based on a system of suffixes and alternate meanings.

I also saw that on my profile as well, but didn't bother.  ;D
