Lately I have noticed some good news and bad news about Bitcoin.
Many people think that bad news will make the price of Bitcoin "go down" and good news will make the price of Bitcoin "Rise".
So on this topic I would like to discuss "How much the power of news can affect the Bitcoin price?"

In my opinion, it is still the quality of news that really affects the Bitcoin price, fake news spread by fudders will not affect the pricing, the question is what is the news? where it came from? Is it real? Most news affecting Bitcoin price are those news came from the government, those news that really made against the Bitcoin like banning from a certain country, declaring it as illegal and the likes of them.

as much as possible, news affects the price of bitcoin. the better the news background the more potential investors come to the market

The news are not affecting the price of bitcoin. Its just looks like that because it affects the minds of people that are investing and wanted to invest on it. Because of lack of knowledge about bitcoin, people are easily deceived by the news spreading on the social media and it affects their decision making because of the guts given by the news.

So, how come that it did not affects the price? It really affects the price! Yeah, it affects the mind of the people that are investing and it influences on their decision, that trends will make the price moving up or down and what would you call that? The news really affects the price, if it did not, there would be no price movement.

i think its a general occurence. news affects every tradeable commodity depending on the type of news whether good or bad. In crypto,  good news affects the price of the coin especially if the news is about it e.g  bitcoin. good news will surely make the price increase depending on how strong the news is. and also bad news likewise.

I believe that this is their own people inspire this news force. just on the market a lot of newcomers who are very easy to manipulate

News can have a big effect in bitcoin price. If the news tell always negatives reports about bitcoin, many investors will pull their investment in bitcoin and the price may fall in that case.

The power of news can affect the price of bitcoin in my own opinion 80% because most investors put the ears on what is coming new about bitcoin and what is bad about it before they can invest in bitcoin.  So if there is any bad news concerning it the market price will fall because every one will want to sale off the in  which they have.

the news about ETF will definitely affect the price even if its approved its either go down or up depending on how much it will give confidence to the previous investors and new commers in crypto. if the new comers will win, the price may went higher than it was last year. i'm hoping it will though.

Depends on how many people are still being influenced by it, most of them are even believing the fake news being spread in the web and almost everyone does not even care to take some time to confirm that the news is legit. As long as we have a lot of people dragging the market up or down with their mind believing on something the prices will always follow them to what they believe in. in my opinion, the news in the media has a considerable influence, because for people who don't understand anything about bitcoin will check and value from the news that circulating in the media. so that good and bad news will affect a person's judgement and interest.

For me it is not the price who is affecting the bitcoin, but it is the mind of the investors. If they have read a good new about the price of the bitcoin then the investors will think a positive about the bitcoin but if negative then literally they will think negative to the bitcoin so for my instinct ut is not the price but the mind of the investors.   

News is very important indicator when the traders want to speculate, and most of the people trade based on the news, when there is a good news then people tends to buy and it can cause the price to go up, that's why a legit source of information is needed when we want to buy or sell, news got a big effect for crypto

Depends on the reaching of the news and how well structured and easily understandable they are.

It depends on the type of news. Some news is spreading by the fudders who just want to create a hype in newbies so that they can be sold their bitcoins. This way whales get profit all the time. Price of BTC goes down when a good amount of coins sold out.

On the other hand, if the news is correct and good for all, then it isn't necessary that price will rise because CRYPTO is a totally unpredictable thing.

It is not too much to cause the price to soar high nor too less to make the prices take a dip. News definitely affects the price of not only bitcoin but all other things too.  But as per my opinion and experience "Time of news" is major and important factor affecting the price.  Also sentiments ; mentality at some point of time; play strong role in accepting effectiveness of the news.
e.g.  We see when prices are rising ; then even a small positive news will give a big jump to the price.  Interestingly at that time negative news will not have much effect on price.  It is because strong positive upward mental sentiments are very strong in the people's mind.  Those sentiments could bring the bitcoin to 21 k during 2017.

The same will be true when there are negative sentiments during bearish trends.  At that time positive news will not be much but negative news will have a major dent in the market. 

So time of the news is more important but I also wish to add that so many news collectively are responsible in creating negative or positive sentiments i.e. news create sentiments but sentiments will decide the degree of effectiveness of news.

I do not agree with you at all. Do you even know how volatile this market truly is? This market is filled with hypersensitive investors who react to every small piece of news in a small or big way which contributes to the volatility of this market. This is why this market is far more riskier for investors when compared to the traditional stock markets etc. Do not invest into this market if you are not willing to lose your money. I think that influence of news on Bitcoin, especialy those from media and social networks is exaggerated. Actualy, users give too much attention to them, no matter how true and accurate are they. Still, manipulation is possible.
There usualy is some impact but because of users who in many cases act implusive but that is usual on a short term basis and effect is not that strong.

Actually fake news affects significantly since most of the investors in this industry are newbie. We can't blame them because its very hard to distinguish fake news to real news nowadays specially if you will just rely on secondhand sources like internet and t.v. I don't think any news is going to affect Bitcoin anymore. Everybody already knows about Bitcoin and all the related history about it from the previous news and there is nothing a serious problem in Bitcoin nowadays so I do not think that media is going to affect Bitcoins price anymore. From my view negative effects are much seen than positive effects. Because i think most of the people in the market are insecure about the volatility. Which leads them take bad decisions during crucial times.

I think not only news source is the main reason behind the price fluctuations. How people respond on the news in also has a very big impact. Like fake news can do much hampers if it is widely believed and adapted.

I think it has some effect. Just look shat happened to some alt coins when some people talked about it on their YT tweeter acc or whatever. So news can have effect on people and then people buy or sell coins. But BTC I think is too big for that kind of stuff but big news can effect it. In my opinion, I think the news can really affects the bitcoin's price in the market in a way of positive and negative. If that "news" is a good thing then it might encourage the investors or funders to try the bitcoin and that sitiation will lead to the great increase of price. However if that "news" is a negative then it will make people disinterested in bitcoin and quite hate it resulting to the drop of price. I think that is the connection of the two.

I really think when good news comes out it has a big impact on the market price. Adaptions to have bitcoin to join the community. I believe when good news spreading people have it's opportunity to buy bitcoin that makes price to increase.
