Title: Football and Blockchain
Post by: cryptocontinental on September 03, 2018, 11:40:53 AM
Is there any Bounty that is meant to support football or soccer?  I have been searching to see if I can find one so as to join. Am a great fan. Drop your comments and links to it if you know any. Thank you

Actually I've met so many spirit related bounties but not seen anyone related to soccer specifically. The ones I've seen are betting blockchains that supports sport betting websites. . Bitgoals is a soccer relaeted bounty but I think it must have closed by now

I think participating in the bounty or ISO related to football is a failure. Of course, I also love football, but what will the blockchain help football, what will it be used for?

but remember, you have no assurance that you will earn money from them. tokens tend to be very cheap once it hit the exchanges, if ever they will get into an exchange

I have no idea about bounties from the ICOs of football related blockchain projects but there are quite a number of projects intended to support football through cryptocurrency.
James Rodrigez is going for his own personal coin to support football named JR10 token.
Brazil has already issued a token to support building academy in the country.
Many popular football players are endorsing football related or other types of ICOs.

I've seen a lot of ICO on the football theme and all of them were SCAMS. And for me it is not clear what innovations the blockchain will bring to football.

Have you checked footballcoin? ANN Thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1850000.0), website (https://www.footballcoin.io/)
They've been around for quite some time and I used to support them until they failed to get their coin listed in a good exchange. I don't know if they do now.
They have a smarphone app that is available on both android and iOS.

Though there were some football related bounties sometime but most of them were not worth it because they were waste of time as they did not get their coin listed on exchange list but if you really have interest to join a football related bounty, take your time to do a very good research and you will possibly find one to join.

That is true as most of the people that will only invest for it are football / soccer fanatic with the knowledge in cryptocurrency and that market will be very small that is why there will be few or little growth from the project or cryptocurrency that will cater such market.

Yes, I have actually seen and filled many football related ICO bounty. But I can not say how confident it will be for you. You can see JR10 token or Brazilian tokens that support popular football players and it is as other ICO.

There are several projects to support football in cryptocurrency. JR10 token is one of them. It has launched by James Rodrigez, a private currency to support football named JR10 token. You can try to know more about it.

At this point, blockchain hasn't migrated into the sports world yet.
The closest has been betting and gambling on sports and esports, but that is very different from actual sports foundations using the blockchain.

I imagine it will take awhile before these institutions start using blockchain.
In the long run, blockchain will prove to be more cost affective and efficient than how companies, governments, and organizations are run.
but changing an entire ecosystem takes an incredible amount of time.

But, I am excited when it eventually happens.
For soccer, transparency is seriously needed.
FIFA is like this opaque, evil organization complete with bribes and corruption.
World cup itself is a display of wealth influencing decisions.
It's totally ruining the sport.

Transparency through the blockchain will totally change things around.

What kind of football?

Please note that what americans call football is not football at all. It's a weird americanized form of rugby and it's stupid.

But if you mean the real football.. you know.. like soccer (or even futsal) then yes, there are some projects out there.

Blocside
Allsportschain
Fan Controlled Football League (FAN)

All these are just the names I could recall off the top of my head that seemed interesting when I first heard of them, however I am yet to dive into their whitepapers, technical & economical details to ascertain whether they're worth anybody's time.

There are lots of ICO related or supported to football in blockchain. In which you can see JR10 token Or a new token issued in Brazil, you can know better about it. But you have to make your own decision about how much profit it will be.

There was one ICO about football that I had participated in bounty campaign called  Strykz but unfortunately the ICO was unable to reach softcap. Now their main focus is B2B business. Still they are rewarding bounty partipants with a certain amount of coins to be used in their football stars app.

Personally, I do not quite understand where the blockage can be used in sports, in particular in football. The first thing I thought about was sports betting. But in this case bookmakers will not pay taxes, hence in most countries their activities will be illegal.

Getting and supporting a bounty related to soccer does not guarantee the success of the project what matters most is the numbers of investors, how good is the project? Whitepaper etc  not every country are soccer enthusiasts,  everyone here is trying to promote or adverise for an ICO to be sucessful I wish you good luck in your bounty hunting.

This year there were a lot of projects related to sports betting if you had this in mind. Some have already scraped or are working very well. And if you have in mind the current football do not even know where the technology could be used blockchain in this sport. Yes, and last year came out a project about tennis, which used the technology blockchain for the development of young players. And so it's a good idea to use blockchain in modern football but unfortunately I do not know of such projects.

There are a lot of ICO's that was related to football. Most of them were about gambling and sports betting. To be honest, majority of ICO's about football turns out to be a scam. I am not sure why but maybe football fans are easily blinded if its related to football and they are unable to see what's on the ICO itself. You have to be careful if you are an ICO investor. Just make sure that you are investing to earn money and not as a football fan.

I think football can used blockchain in couple of fronts. Not just scores and goals and assists and who had what but also you can definitely use it for financial stuff as well.
Transfers can be held there, stadium and ticket sales can be counted and saved there, you can have loan players and expenses and debts and many more things. Football has a lot of stuff that needs to be accounted and in the end they just use regular old technology of saving it on a website or something for this, having a blockchain technology to save all of this on it would improve the accountability of the info by tenfold easily.

Right, most of these projects are scam. Most sport related projects are usually gambling. I do not really know how cryptocurrencies can be linked to football except for ticket sales.

in particular it may be I have not found a bounty in supporting a football team. But if the bounty and soccer may I've come across a few times. many articles are circulating that some club soccer indeed already provides the good signal to join the crypto and it was a good thing. in the future, I think it will be workable with various other teams and will be getting better in all aspects.
