Title: Requests to Santa Manipulator
Post by: wobber on October 27, 2011, 08:53:39 PM
Dear Santa Manipulator.

The legend said that the digital space of the bitcoin economy is controlled by a man whose wisdom and powers are great. He has cash and coins at his disposal and can make people get rich or poor quickly. I am now convinced that you exist because I've seen footsteps of your coindeers on the charts. So, can you please make the price pass $3.1 in the next 12 hours?

I will tell all other fellow members of the forum to write you letters, each day.

There you go! All the people on the forum could summon Santa after all. I helped a little -- so unlike me to go in-trend. Rare kind of event IMO, these past days.

I wish for it to go to 2.7, and then up to above 4, within 12 hours.
If it does this, I'll start believing in santa.

Dear Santa Manipulator,

Can you please buy 1000 coins so we can get over 3.25 mark? Thank you.

If you want it to go up, then wait for it to crash to the  bottom and once all the people who want to sell did, then finally start  buying and buying and buying.  In 5-10 years, it should reach $100 per coin at some point so it makes sense as a long term investment if you have money to invest long term.

Dear Santa Manipulator,
We both know the askwalls at 3.35 and 3.5 are fake. Could you please touch them with your candy cane, and fizzle them into oblivion?
Thank you.

Soooo... should I sell or hold?

A lot of those Elliot Wave people (netrin) seem to think it's gonna hit around $4, then slide back down to around $1.  I dunno though, feels kind of rally-ish.  Someone tell me what to do!

as a dedicated and ongoing Elliott Wave subscriber having read both Prechters books and followed his trading advice for a time, i can honestly say i no longer emphasize or even use his analytic techniques.  track record is important and while he's gotten some major calls right he's gotten alot wrong too.

i believe he's right when it comes to his overarching view of the importance of the USD and debt. i also like his work on socionomics or psychology.

but in general, i don't believe EW applies to Bitcoin.

If it hits 4, I bet it spikes up to 4.5 before falling a bit again…

Dear manipulator,

Could we please have a nice spike up to 4.1 that'll pave the way for us mere mortals so that we with our feeble investments may help get this rocket off the launch pad.

P.S. I'll leave out some nice Danish Xmas beer and a proper dinner for you none of this cheapo milk and cookies stuff  ;D

Dear Santa Manipulator,

Please make the price drop below $2 so that more miners leave and the difficulty continues to decrease.  ;D

Thank you.

P.S. I'll have a good bottle of scotch waiting with a nice spicy cigar.

Dear Santa,

Please manipulate us back down to $1 btc so we can start trading BTC with real fundamentals and on more real valuations.

And a Red Ryder BB Gun would be nice too!

Santa Manipulator knows that you've been bad!  Your "real fundamentals" and "more real valuations" equate to "profit opportunity"...
...
... which is why he invented Bitcoinica.   ;D

santa.. come on, nobody believes this walls are real, just pull them down so we can approach a more realistic price balance than your outbailed manipulated 2.20-2.30 price.

What I don't get is who the crazy person is that just pushed the price up to $2.50 (a nearly $0.20 increase) in one big buy. I mean, who really thinks the price is about to take off right now? Because that's the only reason I can come up with for buying a large chunk of coin. I'm expecting the price to hit <$2 in the next two days as well, which makes that buy even more suspect -- especially considering someone else just put up a $10K BTC wall at $2.40.
