Title: "btcltcdigger Bounty Manager" Abusing Bounty Hunters
Post by: Q2kc on September 05, 2018, 07:00:13 AM
I cannot take this Anymore I need to take action regarding this, they Are Abusing Bounty Hunters, This is my Story, I Joined a Reddit Bounty on btcltcdigger your task is just going to upvote the post on a Subreddit, I've been working for 15 weeks for 4 campaigns, OIO, Homelend, Buglab, Voxelx these are already Finished campaigns, when I check my stakes on last week of August my stakes are still there and my stakes are all counted and all are doing well, by the way, the style of their Bounty campaign is you cannot monitor your stakes, the only way to know is when the campaign is finished meaning you will never know if your reports are counted because you cannot monitor your stakes on weekly or daily basis, but mine is very frustrating because all of the campaigns are already finished, when I Check my Reddit stakes last week they removed it because recently my account on Reddit is shadowbanned I don't know what date is it exactly maybe last week of August, and now I message the Reddit to unban it, I PM'd the Admin on btcltc bounty telegram group, I explained to them but still no cosideration, even if they have a copy of all my reports because we need to submit our reports every week, I also have a copy of all my reports, 15 weeks of report, It's very frustrating because no cosideration this is the worse bountymager out there they only care for money, they don't consider a situation like this, when I PM'd the manager this is the reply screenshot below https://i.imgur.com/xMiAAgY.png
sorry for my bad words in the picture because I cannot control my self. These bounty managers are greedy about money and only care about their selves sorry for my bad English.

Updated

I spoke to the manager on Telegram regarding my Problem I cannot do something about my Reddit Stakes anymore It's sad but I need to move on, This is no one's fault, I just can't accept it at first and because of anger I posted created this thread without thinking. I read all the comments on this thread and I really appreciate it, ( the bright side is I can still participate on btcltcdigger bounties ) I will lock this thread now thank you Bitcointalk Community.

I have the same problem as the guy above. took several weeks or months in the bounty on Twitter, eventually blocked it, and it turned out that I did the job for free. this is really unfair. count at least for weeks, when the reports were sent, and accounts were not blocked. or count the stacks for each week at once, this would be the best option.

This is very unfair because we cannot monitor our stakes, this manager is the only manager I know, that you can only view your stakes when the bounty campaign is finished, what if you did something wrong in the start you will never know if your stakes are counted or not, Other bounty managers out there update their spreadsheets by week so that you will know if your stakes are counted or not. but this manager btcltcdigger is the most unfair of all bounty manager. I hope this manager will be punished!

You might want to move this thread to Scam accusations (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0) section or on Reputation (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=129.0) section because IMO discussing alleged bounty manager abuse does not belong in altcoin discussions. Also, someone can give you a better answer if you can provide the name of the bounty campaign you have joined or its bounty thread. Showing a screenshot of telegram conversations is not a proof enough to prove bounty manager's abuse since he might have removed you because of terms and conditions or you might have had violated a rule.

Thank you I will transfer this to reputation, and I will prove that I'm doing my job right but this bounty manager is just being so unfair to bounty participants because ,if you do something wrong for example your twitter, facebook, Reddit is blocked or shadowban you will not have a stake with that certain week, not the Entire campaign, campaign lasted for months and they just going to zero your stakes, very unfair right?

It's your fault because your Reddit account is shadow banned and btcltcdigger use API to check your profile. Why didn't you check your Reddit account for shadow banned before joining?

Hello, I used to get shadowbanned. You can not know that you got banned because there is no notice. And I think both participant and bounty manager have no fault. But I do not like the way that bounty manager do to count the stakes. Because the participants can not track their work and reveal their mistakes as soon as possible. The participants maybe done their works in 10 - 15 weeks and find out they get 0 stake because they have gotten a mistake at the start point. No one can not calm down.

I think this should be an issue in this forum. No one has the right to abuse the bounty participants since we all want to earn money in a fair way. We don't want to get labored and promote the project and meanwhile this bounty managers will abuse the bountyhunters. I hope this will reach the administrators since this is an issue that should be addressed.

We can't surely tell if the bounty manager really scammed you and we can't blame him/her unless you proved it. First, gather enough evidence that will prove that that bounty is a scam. Is anyone from that bounty has been paid already? If no participants received any payment then its a scam. Second, make sure or check first if you really didn't violate any rules and provide evidences to strengthen your accusation. Third, you should include the link to that bounty you were talking about and lastly, if you've gathered enough evidences that will prove that bounty is guilty, then make a accusation thread in Scam Accusations (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0)

Actually, I also experienced to be scammed before when I'm participating bounties. This "C" Bounty (if my memory serves me right) scammed a lot of members and I'm one of those. I've been working for more than 3 weeks but in the end its a free advertisement. Then I realised that, its not just the bounty manager's fault why I get scammed, it's also because of me. Yeah it's also our fault why we are getting scammed. Because we are acting blind while we can feel that a particular bounty is suspicious. But unfortunately, some bounties that seems like nice also end up scam.

Fortunately, I'm not doing bounties again :)

Anyway, are you serious about what you've said in your convo with the Manager? You have said that joining bounties is the only job you were doing to feed your family. Well if yes, it a big WRONG. You should find a decent job in real life buddy. Don't just rely in this forum. You better find a real life.

Is this your ally OP or your alt? He use to mock btcltcdigger but I can't find any of your past posts linked to his bounties or airdrops better to prove your words with your actions.

Why is the only way to support your pregnant wife through spam bounties with a long history of not paying?  Are you absolutely sure you should be having children?  That sounds harsh, but you seem to need a good dose of reality.

But I don't believe that story anyway.  I think that's just OP being manipulative so he'll get paid.  Spammers and scammers will say anything because ultimately, like OP claimed about this bounty, they only care about money.

Reddit secretly bans accounts it may suspect as spamming, called "shadowbanning". If your account is shadowbanned, Reddit makes it appear normal from your perspective, but will hide your posts, upvotes, etc. from all the other users on the site. You can check your shadowban status here:
http://shadowbancheck.appspot.com/

You can read more about it here:
http://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/11ggji/can_someone_please_explain_to_me_what_shadow/

To our knowledge, Reddit does not easily un-shadowban, so you will need to create a new account.

I would have done the same thing. Why sould a manager pay a spammer? And on top of that your post and upvotes gets all hidden and not shown on Reddit so I don't think it put on any effort towards promoting the project.

I think what btcltcdigger makes sense and I don't find anything that makes him untrustworthy.

I guess it's time for my 2 cents.

So, full disclosure, I don't assume or pretend to be the best manager, nor do i claim so. There's far better and experienced managers out there, that do bounty management as their full time job.
I have a offline job, wife and kids, so my methods are designed to make my life easier when doing it.

Having said that, my methods are disclosed and there's reasoning to the madness.

First of all, each of the bounty campaigns i do has this:

https://i.imgur.com/YL1cE9r.png

It clearly states that stakes and all calculation, except in some cases, are visible at the end. And there's a reason why.
When me and my team did weekly updates, we were flooded by DM's and PM's on all platforms, with people asking for all kind of updates, corrections, etc...

Needless to say, this was turning out to be a 10 hour/day thing which we just didn't have time for.

But to counter this, we also introduce a 7-10 day complaint period. After all, we're human (except the bot on my tg group), and we make mistakes.
Dozens of people had the same issue as the OP, and we went an extra mile and allowed them to re-register with a new account, provided they would redo all the activities to earn stakes.

But OP, he's a different story. Feel free to join  @CSbounty and check the history of the last 48 hrs.

With him, it started with threats, then moved to blackmail. When that didn't work, he tried the old heart warming pregnant wife story, which frankly i don't buy. I've heard them all, from cancer stricken children to dieing pets who need rectal transplants.

And when that didn't help, he again transformed into a nice guy and asked politely :D

https://i.imgur.com/H3gTOMM.png

Needless to say he's not getting the group.

But it's a typical MO which I've seen many times.

Again, my methods aren't perfect, but on average 3-4k participants join my campaigns, and except some high profile projects, usually there's 100 or so complaints, mostly for missing stakes or asking for articles/videos to be re-checked.

As for bounty hunting, I've done it before, both signatures, translations, social media, etc... and I've never been shadow banned (check yourselves - https://www.reddit.com/user/btcltcdigger ), so this leads me to believe that people who get shadow banned must be spamming A LOT. And this goes beyond few up-votes / comments a week.

In the end, as i tell every participant, your account is your responsibility.

Okay... I'm starting to really getting bothered by now.

First of all:
This isn't my actual account. I am using a second account in fear of another smear on my reputation. And that, my friend, is exactly the thing that's bothering me.

Since the new merit system it's nearly impossible to climb the social ladder and gain a little bit in the wonderfull world of Satoshi's Bitcointalk. Leaving people's  accounts vulnerable to the emotionally challenged, such as yourself.

My point is that mods / the community must do something about the ease of starting a post and damaging someone's reputation. My suggestion is to come up with some rules such as providing REAL evidence to back up accusations.
To be honest, everybody on this forum is in it for the money and money brings out the worst in people.

Second:
I was browsing this section in order to see if there were any new developments in te false accusations on my behalf, when i stumbled upon this post.
In the past i've done some work on bounties they manage and I can assure you that they always kept their word.
To be honest, their methods of screening for ICO's is so effective I even am interested in investing in some of the ICO's they manage.
This one time that a minor difference occurred, I asked them about it (like civil people do) and although it took a while for a response they could explain what had happened.

My point is I donít know what the heck this is about, and to be honest I couldn't care less. But all I know is I trust them and Iíve made some money thanks to them.

Oh and I think Iím going to use this account for a quest against false scammer-callers.

if you are living in a third world country you can do bounty for a living and that is the reality, because of deflation, I don't know in other countries but here in my country $100-$200 a month joining multiple bounties, with my earnings in bounty even if you have a family you can survive here, I don't know in other countries.

You're correct I did not notice that I'm shadowbanned because you will never know that if you don't view your Reddit account in an incognito mode,
and I don't know the Specific date of my shadowbanned maybe around last week of August, the most frustrating part is all of the finished bounties I joined for months remove all my Reddit entry and that campaign already Finished and my Shadowban just happened recently, I will accept the fact if the Bounty manager only remove the week when my Shadowban happened but what he does is remove all my stakes on all my Reddit Entry not just only one campaign but for multiple campaigns that are already finished, very unfair for the participants.

as the Rules stated that they will only calculate internally, and after the End of the campaign you will only see your total stakes what happened to my part is they already counted my stakes I can view my stakes on OIO campaign and Homelend but when I check again last day all my stakes are gone. very unfair and frustrating, all are gone by a sudden Shadowbanned that I don't even notice, and when I ask the bounty manager that I will replace my Reddit account he did not give a fuck, Bounty hunters afraid to argue to bounty managers because they will always win and you will be banned or lose all your hard work by just one click.

Sorry, but what is the manager's fault if your account was banned? When you went into a bounty campaign, you read that the rates are counted after the company's bounty. Therefore, yes, everyone has a risk to remain without bids in the case of a ban.
PS: Im lost my stakes too because my reddit account was shadowbanned

The campaign is already Finished before my Shadowban, meaning I already completed the job but still I got Zero stakes very fair right? if the Manager gives me even half stakes or very little stakes for a penalty that is acceptable but for zero stakes that is not acceptable, because you already do the job without even paid.

You are banned for spam posts that you posted before the shadow ban. So you agree that you spammed before getting banned? Maybe it came under his notice after they banned you but it seems like what they did makes sense. I think 0 stakes is the deserving judgement in your case as you were spamming (coz of which you got banned) and you got banned (which leads to 0 promotion, well you have been spamming so would call it 0 promotion in that condition as well)

Don't know exactly why you were banned but likely is that you were spamming or maybe you were upvoting quite frequently (while come to think about it other users were also doing that but yet they are not facing any ban)

Reasons for shadowbans are listed here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ShadowBan/comments/8a2gpk/an_unofficial_guide_on_how_to_avoid_being/
