It's already 'ber months, i really believe that this is the perfect time for bitcoin to pump up like old days, it is possible that bitcoin price will pump around $15000-$20000, so stay still and hold your BTC.

The ridiculous binary nature of bitcoin predictions is it’s either going to zero or a million.  No where in between. I guess if someone forecasted a 9000 bitcoin price 5 years from now it wouldn’t garner any attention but probably much more accurate.

Anything is possible, the price can go to $20k by the end of the year for sure
but it could easily stay bouncing between $7k and $8k and not only for the
end of the year but beyond.

Anything can happen and nobody can predict what will happen and if they do
its luck and coincidence IMO.

Not because bitcoin rose in price during the "ber-months" last year it doesn't automatically mean the same will happen this year. You think bitcoin was like "oh shit Christmas season is right around the corner! I should rise in price so people get rich!". Not saying it's not possible though, it definitely is. But still, smh people. Have some patience for once.

Questions like "Will the bitcoin price reach a new ATH?" are totally stupid.
The smart question is "What are the factors that will drive the bitcoin price to a new ATH?"We should think about this question all the time.Will the crypto whales push the bitcoin price up or the army of newbies?
Will more institutional investors ste up into the crypto markets or no?
Will China,India and South Korea accept more liberal regulations over cryptocurrency trading?

There’s no strong signal yet about the price of bitcoin and maybe we cannot see an up trend this month. I believe bitcoin can still hit $10k in the last quater of 2018, the market dump today will disappear soon, grab more bitcoin as much as you can now.

With the most successful scenario, the bitcoin price could well rise to 15,000 - 20,000 dollars. However, I think the most realistic price range will be 12,000 -15,000 dollars. With such a large fall and a stagnant market, it is unlikely that bitcoin will grow very rapidly in the last months of this year.

We can't expect the same thing to happen, things are different. It's very unlikely that we'll see the same hype as everyone already knows how this market works, especially what to expect from Bitcoin. Plus, market sentiment was different around this month, as of now there's still a bearish sentiment surrounding the market.

It's still possible that we could see a major spike in the price in Q4, though we sould lower our expectations, I personally don't expect to see price testing the last ath.

Nothing wrong with the thinking like that but we must not take away the chances that it might not happened this year. Past performance can't always guarantee future result so we are all unsure even how good the technical analysis is and how optimistic we are, if price will be up again just like the past ber-months.

Again "chances" , all things are possible to happened so just go with the flow of current trend and do everything to take advantage of it.

About what will be the highest price that will established this last phase quarter of the year, we just have to wait for it.

The best case scenario I see for price this year is a rally into the 61.8% - 70.5% retracement levels. Maybe $15K, give or take. Those are pretty typical reversal levels for a major corrective wave.

But it could be much uglier too. We have lots of bagholders from > $10K to shake out. And looking around here and Tradingview and Twitter, it just doesn't seem like people have capitulated. Maybe we need another reset to the $3,000s. :-X

I believe on the last quarter of this year bitcoin price will reach $10000.It’s a good news in recent time bitcoin price upgrading. Hope for the best.

As you can see, bitcoin prices can fall to 1000$ within 24 hours. so it can increase 1000$ within 24 hours and it only takes 2 weeks or 1 month for the bitcoin to go to new heights. About 4 months and we will wait for what will happen later this year, I still hope that the bitcoin will reach 20k usd at the end of the year

I wouldn't give predictions with concrete numbers, just framework. It's hard to tell and Bitcoin price can change very quickly in both ways.
Still, I think that we might expect some rise in the last quarter. Some corrections will still happen, that is for sure, but I beleive Bitcoin price might cross 8000$ and even touch 9000$.
If in some lucky case we come near 10000$ that will be success.

We do not have good news, we currently have the ETF of September 30 that if not approved will push the price down, we have good news in November but it will not boost the price immediately, more likely after months. So being realistic we can say that it will be possible to see prices above $15000 next year. For this year the maximum we can see will be $10,000

We may be in a process of reaching the long-term bullish trend (in green), to be confirmed next week.
But in the short term we will head to the down point of the long-term bullish trend. But we all know we'll go though ups and downs to get there eventually.

It is still too soon to make assumptions with a hundred percent surety. On top of that, even though the price has been stable over the last couple of days, if the market has hit the bull run is still too early to assume. But yes, we can say that for sure that at the end of the year, the price will soar.

We hope that history will repeat itself like last year. Now is the time to buy bitcoin because it has a lower price, I recommend that we hodl until december and depends on the price in december if we will sell. But I think that it will break or make the 10K usd.

Bitcoin is predicted that this will rise higher than we ever imagine but with the current market situation I think this will just return back to $10k by year end. I'm hoping that a good news will come that will ignite to a bullish market.

We need to remember that in the end, these are just predictions. And a lot of times they are wrong. The only reason that these are forecasted because to give people a part of the idea from the entire picture and to help them a bit in making the decisions.

I could debunk the possibility that the price may vary, But a lot had happened and a possibility of manipulation can sure occur even in the last minute, And the price keeps on fluctuating just like the waves of the ocean we can not verify the last price it may occur, But in my opinion a possibility that $8000 USD is a near price prediction for now and if these continue we might see another bull run the next year, and another all-time high may occur before that.

Too early to jump into a conclusion like that. given that the price has been stable, it will be still too soon to assume that the market is bearish or not. But one thing is for certain that the price will not take any further fall.

There has been mixed opinion among experts regarding the price of bitcoin. Many experts said that its price will go to $50,000 by the end of 2018. We are still seeing that bitcoins price is far away form that so judging that level we can expect that it will be close to around $20,000 like last year and maybe reach $50,000 next year.

There's no solid flag yet about the cost of bitcoin and perhaps we can't see an uptrend this month. I trust bitcoin can in any case hit $10k in the last quarter of 2018, the market dump today will vanish soon, get more bitcoin as much as you can now.

Can you imagine what christmas season did to Bitcoin last year?
It did cause a major dump during that season specially on the first week of January -- and what more are we going to expect in Bitcoin if the price is still not changing? Then we will have to stick to the $6k-$7k range of price every other month.

The only thing that could change the course of the market is if there's a new and biggest event that's going to happen. Expect that the market will suddenly pump 3x than it's current price.

It is quite impossible to say what will be the exact price of Bitcoin. Market is still going through bearish session and this can’t be predicted when it will turn green for BTC. This year might not be the year for BTC.

Still the price is stuck between $6k - $7k range. This price range seems to sustain for a certain period. Especially until the BTC ETF decision is made on 30th September. After that something good and bad will happen to BTC.

The sky is the limit, the cost can go to $20k before the year's over without a doubt. Anything can happen and no one can foresee what will happen and in the event that they do its fortunes and happenstance IMO.

Asking this type of question is valueless actually. I think nobody can predict that how would be the market. In the course of time we all need to stay updated in the major changes that are taking place. Our predictions will not decide the market definitely.

I don't think the price will rise like previous year because the market is showing no sign for that. And it is quite impossible to jump from 6-7k to 15-20k. It is preety abnormal. I think the price can be around 10k at the end of the year.

I will be really happy if that happens. But, analyzing the current condition I don't this this will happen this time. Price have to bump a lot to that happen. But, let's hope for the best as nothing can be said in crypto indutry.

The market is fully unpredictable. So anything can happen any time with the price of Bitcoin. I am hoping that it will cross 10000 USD at the end of 2018. Nobody can ensure this though.

I think 20k USD is really a big amount as the market is not is bullish status. Still i hope that it will cross the milestones. It seems we have to wait for more time.

Yeah it is possible. In fact anything can be happened with the market. Price can fall badly or it can have an amazing boost. So we need to leave it to the luck now.

Most of the crypto analyst believes that the price of cryptocurrency can actually reach $50k dollars before the year ends and that is one of the best reason why we should hold our coins today.

Could be, but personally I don't think that SEC will approve Bitcoin ETF's this year. I'm speculating that we can see another postponement for all we know. But I'm ok with the current price, if bitcoin goes on a 5 digit mark at the end of the year then I consider it a big pump to the market. There's a lot of uncertainty, like the one I mentioned and then the G20 decisions as well coming this October. Of course we are all waiting for LN, but that's a different discussion.

No one can predict the nature of bitcoin. But if you can believe and have patience surely you will succeed. After ups and downs bitcoin currently in this position, who could have thought that. So having patience is the key to success.

The price is always roaming around $7.5k-$8k. I wish in at the end of the year the price will rise again. But expectation is very low observing the current situation. I hope everything will go well.

yes probably it will but unfortunately  no one knows when It will happen due to the volatility  nowadays (reason why market movement become unpredictable), but I'm pretty sure as well on this ber month there's still possibility like what happened before , so much better to keep holding if you already on it. And dont ever change your strategy which is just focus with it and be brave no matter what happen in the market  to become successful.  

All the people are saying about price hike at the end of the year but I have doubt on that. I also want this to happen but cannot keep the expectation seeing the recent situation of the market. Let’s see what will happen.

Actually the cryptomarket is uncertain and prediction of the price of bitcoin is impossible. Anything can be happened. So we are just hoping for the best and hopefully the price will rise.

the realistic options are either $10k or $15k, anything between that is realistic, anything above or below that is just pure speculation at this point and we can't know if it will hit them at all. So, I am going to just say it will be about $9.5k levels when the year ends, that is just my guess though, maybe it will be $25k and I still won't be shocked for that, it is bitcoin in the end and it always makes this drastic change and goes into a direction like a car without brakes.

I think the best option here is to react when there is a 4% or so change to a direction assuming it will keep going on that direction for a while. Regardless of where we are going to end up this year, it would be better to make use of the current dips and who knows this might be the last ever chances to buy bitcoins for below $7k levels.

You cannot predict the price of crypto currency in a tough situation as the bullish market is gearing down. Yes there are lot of possibilities as it may increase in the last quarter my expectation is atleast 15k this year as the market is still struggling to show it's best as of now.

Bitcoin does not follow any rule of price increase, the price may increase $ 20k or $ 30k in a few weeks when the market has a good rebound. However your guess I feel more accurate.

I don't think this is our last chance to get Bitcoins under $7k. This is the 5th or 6th time we have bounced off of the low $6k range over the course of 2018. There is strong support at $6k, but the price keeps trying to break that support. I do think that if the Vaneck ETF is denied the support will be broken by panic sellers and we would be headed into a crypto winter for the rest of 2018 and possibly 2019. I think a more realistic price for the end of 2018 is $7000 - $8000. Of course if the ETF is approved, with the hyp in the market it may be enough to keep us at around $10k by the end of 2018. We will see what happens on sept 30...

I hope this is also accompanied by the courage of investors to hold the long-term, now many investors sell their bitcoin when the price reaches $ 7500. of course it makes prices go back down.

I agree with you, last quarter of 2017 is a miracle for bitcoin and now is the time to make that happen again. I hope at least we can see bitcoin in 10.000$ in the next 1 - 2 months.

I think that the price of bitcoin will remain the same at the end of this year because this year is not good for bitcoin so far and the remaining time will also be the same for it. People are putting their money in other Altcoin because of the volatility in bitcoin price. Many people think that it is a bubble so they do not invest in bitcoin, and due to low investment the price of bitcoin will not increase.

that's pretty much my thoughts, last year was a breakthrough of bitcoin to hit 20.000$ so I don't see why this year isn't. If not then 15.000$ will be a great price for the value of bitcoin by the end of this year.

What you call "miracle" I call it "manipulation  :) there was some manipulation, there was also Wall Street getting involved. It's quite funny that no one call it manipulation when the price pumps like crazy, but loads of holders call it manipulation when the price crashes.
It goes both ways.

As a holder, you have nothing to do but "hope" that these manipulations happen again to pump the price up, then sell, and buy again when the price crashes.
Anyway, if what Andreas Antonopoulos say about the ETF is true, then it will happen, possibly making the price a little more stable, at least it may become less easy for the whales to manipulate the price up and down. Wait & see.

That is not called manipulation but a hype. and it happened to Bitcoin several time in past and it will in future.

The price of Bitcoin today seems to have increased appreciably. That proves that public trust in Bitcoin has begun to increase and this is a good start. Never be pessimistic because see that at the moment the price has begun to improve and is in a fairly stable condition. The price increase of around 200 $ today is positive news that many people are waiting for.

It is not possible that the price of bitcoin will jump again to $20k like the previous year. In my opinion the price of bitcoin will be round about 6 to 7 thousand dollars till the end of this year. There will be no big pump and dump in the price because of the investment ratio, low demand, manipulation of the market and volatility. These are the factors that do not allow bitcoin price to go up.

In the last quarter of this year 2018 I hope the price will become 20k dollars plus. If people now buy more bitcoin and hold it for few months and being positive high chance to pump again bitcoin value. But if still continue panic selling and spread bad news we won't see again increase the value. But we don't know what really happen in the last quarter of 2018.

Once again, people should know that bitcoin is a long-term investment. If you want to have a huge profit in a short period, then you should go and invest in something else. And if you are a strong bitcoin believer, then you are certain that the price will pump in a matter of time. As far as I am concerned, the price will grow like last year, but unfortunately, it will not last for so long because it is going to go back to normal and that is what I believe in for now.

Actually, its hard to predict what would be the price of bitcoin on the last quarter of 2018 but I think the price will rise again or it will back to $20,000 or it will surpass it. As of now the price of bitcoin is still down and many people still hold their bitcoin simply because the price will pump up and it will go to the moon again.

This will depends on how strong the market demand in the last quarter of this year as I don't see any good sign to make a good rally. It's just a small green candle and followed with a dump. I will be glad to see the price reach at $10k for the year end and continue the rally next year to hit another all time high. We need more patience to wait for a good rally.

I really cannot see any good reason why it would go up by so much this year. There's just nothing on the horizon to back it up. I personally expect bitcoin to creep up a little by the November/early December, but not by much, and then possibly fall back down a bit near Xmas time and New Years like it did last year. Hopefully 2019/2020 will be much better for bitcoin especially with the halving coming up then.

Yes good to hold than to sell so expect that prices are up and down. More likely the expectation of btc price to be more profitable but the usual case that are happening for long now was down. Yet, holding could be more rewarding when time come that btc to pump.

my expectation is high. but recent developments are not good. my only expectation is now to go to $ 8,000 and $ 9,000 levels and stay there. hard breaking. other coin is affected. and there is not a rapid recovery.

Can we expect the same thing to happen this year? Of course no.
I believe bitcoin can still hit $10k in the last quarter of 2018, but there is absolutely no solid foundation to believe that this year we will see the same rise in prices.

I would not be so sure of it, last year the governments did not take too much attention. after the price reached the  $18,000 the governments passed and pay attention in bitcoin and with that they began to import very hard regulation, the banks started to create barriers for people dealing with cryptos, this has caused demand to be reduced. That's why we will not see the same thing we saw last year

The moon is possible everyday not knowing the reason behind the pumps and dumps of the bitcoins price. But its much possible if bitcoin will stay to its price until the end of 2018. The charts tells us a flatline where the price stays to a particular marginal value and we can say it will remain that way for atleast months or so if not changed.

It is going to be gradual but we will see the end of this year in the 10k-15k USD for bitcoin  and a full fledged bull run by the January .SEC must have been through with their assessments of the ETF proposals

I and many people would want the best in the value of bitcoin in the 2018 quarter.
But i'm so sure the value of bitcoin will recover and my prediction of the value of bitcoin will touch $ 15,000 by the end of this year.
Hopefully the value of bitcoin will rise higher than what we previously imagined.

The tip of the end of the triangle should be early November, more or less.

PS: I am sure I can find the same scenario in a bear trend but I prefer to remain optimistic! :)
