Title: Is Bitcoin ready to pump (september 2018)?

Is Bitcoin ready to pump?
After a long wait, everyone wonders when Bitcoin will make a big pump. Many altcoins depend on Bitcoin and so it has some effect on them. So my question is: do you think Bitcoin is about to go up or should we expect a big drop?

its  a matter of time, all i know is that the price of bitcoin will still rise again. we are really studying the market and we believe that very soon a sincere investor will smile. bitcoin cannot be ignored because it has gained a greater height and its almost turning to an household name.

I hope bitcoin FUD will decline towards the end of this year so that bitcoin will soon reach the ATH again. But I think many traders are getting bored and their psychology says bitcoin is too expensive to collect. But we see later this year, is bitcoin still able to show its fangs as a role model in the cryptocurrency world?

This is hilarious how we predict the market price up trend in every next month that we face, I have already heard the theories about great market growth in every month before, since May 2018.

Three days ago, when I saw the price, i was like we are back on track for the pump until I saw today that the price has started diminishing again and even worst than the initial. I am so frustrated with the price dump. As lot of things is at stake.

It will start pumping real soon, whales tried to manipulate the price recently so they can buy more for cheap prices, I'm sure bitcoin will be over 20k by the end of this year.

As  you  can   Bitcoin  start  pumping  :)  still  we  cannot  predict   the  best  way  to do is  to buy  when  price  is low  :)  looking  forward  before  december will rise  again  like last year all time high  20k.

Nope.Bitcoin will not go up and we shouldn't expect a big drop. The price will be moving around 6000-7000 USD and nothing important will happen during September. The SEC decision will most likely be postponed again,so the waiting for the future approval will create some fake hopes amongst the newbies.SEC won't approve bitcoin as a ETF for sure.

The ETF wont likely be approved till Feb 2019 as that is the last point to refuse it.  An optimistic stance is to believe they will pass it at that point but to assume they do so now seems most unlikely following other similar refusals.  Its possible as related to CBOE but still quite unlikely imo

Yes, its possible that we can see another postponement. Others say that SEC is playing with our emotions.  :)

Again, crypto is a speculative asset so we can't predict when or how the price will go. We started this month with a blast, peaking at around $7300 and everyone gets excited and thinking that this is the bull run we all have been waiting for. Unfortunately, though it didn't last so no one can be certain. I believed that if the next bull run will occur, it will happen when there's a positive news, a big one that will put investors interest back on the market. Sadly, I'm not seeing anything except maybe LN or bitcoin's next halving.

Oopss,it dumping again maybe whales are in action now so time for investing into the bitcoin and I don't see any bump coming since there are lot of negative news about the crypto currencies all over the media so there maybe the price will dump to $6000 again or fall more at the end of Spetember if the ETF gets rejected.

Title: Re: Is Bitcoin ready to pump (september 2018)?

no, simply it is because bitcoin is not some altcoins that can be pumped just because you want it to rise. bitcoin will only have rises or nothing at all. it is the altcoins that get pumped and then inevitably they get a dump where they come back down to the price where they begin the pump with and in some cases even lower prices than that and some of them even die.

Neither a big pump or a large fall should be expected in my opinion. We are still bouncing around within resistance levels and are unlikely to see any major changes to that pattern. Bitcoin isn't going to go on a large pump for a long time, it doesn't just swap so rapidly from bear to bull.

Possible. Golman Sachs already announced that the news about them were fake, so there should be no reason for the last dump, meaning that at least a recover to 7000+ would be normal.
But I thing that the traders wait for the answer about the next ETF and see then how the market reacts.

I believe the price will have a big pump starting from October. For now, people should not panic and have high hopes because we should expect the unexpected. We all know that bitcoin is unpredictable. So, all we have to do it to be patient and support it. Another note, this forum has many members and investors. Posting a thread that makes them fear the outcome of bitcoin, will make them freak out and sell their bitcoins. So, we should always stay positive.

Bitcoin  price is  not good if the price continue to drop. I expected the price become very high again to this month september. But if this month bitcoin not increase they have still three months to pump bitcoin and we can work to together with that. We can stop dumping the value of the bitcoin.

I was thinking that time is come for some price movement to the north, but last dump is show as one more time how easy is to manipulate with BTC and the whole crypto market. We are in the situation where few whales or maybe just one big can move price up or down by 1000$ in less than a day, and who know how long it can last.

It is almost impossible to know what will happen to the end of this year, we may see big pump like last year - but also price can stay in range between 6000-7500$. In my opinion and some other members, if we do not see some action in next 2-3 months then we may expect bear market during most of the next year.

Of course everything can be changed for the better if by some miracle ETF is accepted or if Bakkt become highlighted by the media as next big thing.

Bitcoin market is fluctuate, so we can't be sure how the price of Bitcoin will go. September started with a price bench, and price reach $7400.
This was good sign and  we hoping that this is the bull and Bitcoin price now up to high, but this did not happen, so now we only could wait another wave and be patiently.

The market is currently less activities and volume is really decreasing. We expect that from next month bitcoin is going to resume it last year bullish  momentum. I also doubt if we would see a future serious drop in price that will significantly affects the market.  We are at the ranging market for some days now.

You know what? Don't expect anything. Who knows whether it'll pump or dump? We've already been receiving beatings from this bear market and having our expectations crushed again and again would only result in more frustration and regret.

Many are waiting for this pump for several months, but there are constantly news about the prohibition of bitcoin in China, the refusal of the Goldman Sachs to use cryptocurrency and so on, while for that reason there are large sales of cryptocurrency from the same wallets. This is manipulation of large whales, who will sooner or later change their tactics and will organize pump, but when?

So my question is: do you think Bitcoin is about to go up or should we expect a big drop?

Bitcoin always have a chance to go up anytime at any given situation. Same goes for a drop. There is a "thing" that can triggered price pump or dump and that "thing" is unknown because it was unexpected. Referring to the past drop, we all see how bitcoin price resisted the $5500 level even how dumped the crypto market back then. Meaning to expect more price below $5,000+ it needs a situation that has way more bigger impact compare to the numerous events that makes the crypto market red. In here we can now make an analyzation for our future strategy.

So what will be the answer? No one knows what will happened. Focus instead on your plan for example, what if the price goes up/ what if the price goes down. Anticipate it because thinking if the price will go up this month will just gave people a headache.

Nope.

What would be the good news that would make the price pump? I see nothing. The ETF is still a risky bet given the history of SEC rejections

do you think Bitcoin is about to go up or should we expect a big drop?

honestly? is more chance to drop

Bitcoin could actually head on its way to recovery this month only if all the fake news and market manipulation will just end and allow to real organic growth, driven by gradual and consistent adoption. There are enough project s and activities in the space to make it known to all.

If the ETF will be approve in this month we can assure a huge pump up again so maybe some trader are wait for the news regarding this ETF, but personally if bitcoin stay in 6500 Im pretty confident it can be back to $7k and trying to break again the $7500. Its better to observe carefully the chart of bitcoin because theres a tendency it can go down to 5900$ to $5800.

Sure, it is understandable that so many altcoins are depending on bitcoin, but the truth still remains that no one knows how bitcoin is going to end up fairing in the long run. All we can just say is when the time for the pump comes, we will see it. Moreover, why should we be expecting pumps in prices, when the only thing that we should be looking forward to is real demand and steady growth in the market? That makes a whole lot more sense than a pump and dump.

its  a matter of time, all i know is that the price of bitcoin will still rise again. we are really studying the market and we believe that very soon a sincere investor will smile. bitcoin cannot be ignored because it has gained a greater height and its almost turning to an household name.
A matter of time that requires just being patient and the fact that no one knows what the future holds. Candidly, the only thing we have is the trend and as long as the situation is bearish, then it is bearish and when the bullish momentum starts kicking in, I am sure we would know with the sentiment in the market by then, and we would not even need someone to tell us, it should be a good time to get in. As it is at the moment, all we can hope for is to see how the trend is going to lead.

I think not yet because ther's still a red blood in the market nowadays,  and IMO also perhaps  there's no pump will happen on this month because we are almost in the mid of the month wherein probably the growth will continue to stay on this resistance or maybe it become more stagnant until this month end because more people as of now still afraid  to contribute again on it wherein instead of holding they're constantly dumping .

I think you already got your answer, don't you think? The market is not going to pump so soon it is going to take a lot of time, people need to get rid of the idea that the market of cryptocurrencies is going to skyrocket again in just a few months, you need to get this, it is going to take years for the market to recover and it's better that you accept this now rather than later or face the consequences.

Still unsure if September is going to be the time for bitcoin to start its wave to go up.

I guess this month's support price would $6,300 and if it won't bounce back at end of this year, we might see the pump next year. Although there's few more months left but I'm having few hopes with those months to come but well, during holidays people's money are flowing in.

In order words, the influx of new money will come during the holidays (from the general public), and that's what you expect could pump the prices...so just like last year, right? except, this year we won't see the same hype and people will definitly not start pouring tons of money into the cryptopshere, especially not after seeing what happened in January this year (a massive crash).

I don't think we'll see the same pattern this year, but there could be some movements towards the end of the year if the bulls decide it's time for another rally.

With the projected approval of the CBOE ETF application by SEC, it is very likely that BTC and the cryptocurrency market as a whole is ready for a massive bull run. However, it is all speculation but I do have a good feeling about september.

The ETF wont likely be approved till Feb 2019 as that is the last point to refuse it.  An optimistic stance is to believe they will pass it at that point but to assume they do so now seems most unlikely following other similar refusals.

Chances are they'll continue delaying it, then reject it in February, if not before. Or they'll just reject it outright. It's plain to see why an approval in the near future for any ETF is unlikely, if you read their earlier decision about the Winklevoss ETF. As long as unregulated offshore exchanges control most of the market, it's not going to happen. It doesn't matter whether the next ETF application is packaged with physical backing or futures backing or anything else. The problem, as the SEC sees it, is the spot market itself.

The pump will come when it's less expected.

Maybe several months after the halving late in 2019

I agree the pump will come when it's least expected (meaning we aren't ready yet). But the halving is slated for 2020, right? Lots of people are also expecting a bull run at that time. :P

Yes that's what I'm expecting which is possible but has low chance of happening because there are years that didn't have good December's as well but let's hope for the best.

That expectation you've said is also given and possible to happen that there will be no more hype since people are thinking that crypto's are just too much and its too late for them to come in.

I believe it is the apprehension from the expected ETF news that's holding Bitcoin down at the moment, nothing else. By this tome last year bitcoin was on a positive note and I don't see this being any different after the ETF date passes. It's going to be a moment like we have in NFP in Forex Trading. The outcome of the ETF will surely cause a spike. I sincerely hope that spike goes bullish.

Definitely we can pump it but the question is where is the money coming from? Investors are reluctant because of the current situations and if you look at the graph, there are times that we might see and test lower levels again. We are trading sideways again so it go are long as 7 days before we can clearly see which path the price would go. Been trying to break the $6300 barrier but every time we have made a gain, it will go back below again.

All this pump talk is just talk.  I wouldn't risk money into Bitcoin at the present time unless I was one of those day trader types of folk.  And then you'd have to be really lucky or have insider knowledge.

That's ok, its you prerogative to be afraid and not enter the market. But if you are going to look at the bright side, isn't it a golden opportunity to buy at this point because its cheap and its almost close to the last bottom price by just $400? And there's no insider information here, everything is based on speculation and FUD and fake news. opportunity here can knock many times, its up to us to whether to take advantage or not.

Maybe several months after the halving late in 2019

When the Gemini USD, GUSD is used widely, the price of the bitcoin could rise.

Is Bitcoin ready to pump?
After a long wait, everyone wonders when Bitcoin will make a big pump. Many altcoins depend on Bitcoin and so it has some effect on them. So my question is: do you think Bitcoin is about to go up or should we expect a big drop?
Pumping will depends on how good the current market as we don't have any good news that can ignite the crypto market into a bullish trend. The market seems not ready to have any bull run and this will manage to stabilize in $6k to $8k for this year. Although we know that bitcoin is capable to make a rally anytime that will surprise us. Let's just wait if this month will be the turning point of this bearish market.

There's just no reason or events that will help BTC to pump, even in other crypto. Unlike last year there are many new companies and countries who notices and accepts it. This year there is no much additional good news that will help for it to pump.

bitcoin are ready to pump if we like, but many investors are not already ready on riding the price. Bitcoin market price are not stabe, but it is too risky to buy but we dont know what will happen, if the price will continue to increase or will drops at the end of the year.

At this point I think is a better option to try not to think too much about when the price is going to recover, because whenever I think about that I cannot stop to think it is going to take a few years for that to happen, and while I'm willing to hold my coins for that long that doesn't make the process any easier, so for the time being I'll just forget a little bit about my coins and do something else until the market begins to show signs of recovery.

Man pump isn't gonna happen, even if it does, its gonna be a big fail, at the moment. We are in a bearish season right now, and a "pump" in the middle will only make people dump more harder. Here's how it works: A pump is attempted to increase price from like 6.5k to 7.5k, the price increases to like 7k, people will prefer that price to 6.5k,they'll sell their bitcoin. Now, the pumpers will be running out of money to keep the supprot going on,and to continue the price to 7.5k will only become more harder. And since bitcoin will have more market supply at that time, people will sell for lesser than 7k, so the "pump" would only end in a misery, unless its backed by a lot of funds. Or in some cases, market doesn't react well, and "pump" becomes successful, but that almost never happens.

A positive motivation is appropriable to every investor whose about losing their control to be on panic seliing. I believe every one are quick ready for bull run for this is what people wished for the entire year. And bull run will come over soon just a matter of time for pregression. Waiting for a while may consume your patience, so widen your patience and the thriven will be ours.

in my view this is a good time to buy bitcoin and hold it until the end of the year, because it is estimated that the price of bitcoin will return high at the end of the year

if you want to make a big profit, then buy and hold for at least 2 years

All this pump talk is just talk.  I wouldn't risk money into Bitcoin at the present time...

 ???

The current price is very low and so it is a good opportunity to buy

Seeing the current market conditions are green, hopefully this will last and continue to rise until the end of September with a bigger pump.

It is green, but the price is still $6500 and can stay between $6500 to $7500 by the end of September

most likely the price of bitcoin will be pumped at the end of September, if together with positive news about ETF the price of last year will probably be reached again.

Even if ETF is approved, I doubt we will reach more than $17000

I think neither a big pump or a large fall should be expected in my opinion. The price should still bouncing around 6000$ - 7000$ in nearly future. We could expect a price change only after the ETF decision.

All Altcoin is certainly related to Bitcoin, no one will know when Bitcoin will make a large pump, all will shout at the market price of the current situation, the market price is very far below now, my advice is probably to support the most votes supporting bitcoin, which can invite investors with positive information.

The only way we can even know is when it comes and there is absolutely no other way. For those who monitor the market and its trend, they tend to look at the way they can make the best from the market volume in making decisions at certain point in time.

If we could all predict exactly when a pump will be happening, I am sure even the whales will not be able to manipulate a market and the market would only be more like a first come first serve thing in any of the direction it is taking. But that will be never possible that is the reason most people from this community is always checking here about speculations of other people to get some idea about the upcoming bitcoin price directions.

What is important now is to see the market get more matured, get used as a currency and adopted as such for payment purposes, and get to see real demand than awaiting some pump.

Stop thinking about this, the more you think about the price pumping soon the more you are going to be disappointed when it doesn't happen, it is better to accept the market as it is, the market is going to behave like this for a long time and you need to find a way to make profits or to at least avoid losses, this is the main reason behind the philosophy of holding your coins no matter what.

As at September 14, 2017, Bitcoin was at $3500-3900, the whole day. So the price today is still better than last year. I believe it is still manipulated. If the coin was allowed to continue with that growth, it will be beyond the expected and might force the world power to force a hard regulation to break its growth. The manipulation IMO is still helpful and I expect the coin to pick at a good time of the year for investors to take some profits. The ICO teams are all carefully waiting for that time , It will definitely come since the coin has found the bottom and sustain it.

The market is green but not for long time. Tomorrow it will gain red and the price will fall again. Today the price increased hundred dollars in seconds but the bad thing is that it will not last for long time. We will have to wait for long time to see big pump in the price. It's hard to say what will be crypto goes. We don't have any assurance for now if we see a pump in the market because as we can see market is badly dropping especially ethereum. Hopefully we can surpassed this situation.
This is a market that is very speculative in nature and based on certain factors such as news, manipulations, perception, demand or supply based on certain things, the market can decide to move in any direction.

This anticipation for a pump by a lot of investors is even something that amuses me, considering the fact that we should be shrieking for a great demand and real one, and not just some speculative move that makes the market prone to manipulation every single time which is how I see pumps.

Patience is something we should have, without having a good level of patience we will never be ready to enter the world of investment.
Bitcoin prices can change at any time and that is something that will always happen at any time.
we will never know when the pump will occur, it is because everything can just happen quickly.

It is not as simple, it is true that bitcoin and its technology is recognized around the world and people can no longer ignore that a coin like bitcoin exist, but that doesn't translate into growth, the only thing that makes the price of bitcoin grow is more money being invested in this market, and investors are really afraid right now because of the crash that happened and they are not ready to invest yet.

Not only afraid of investing but even the traders are afraid of investing for long term, as you can see that as soon as the market moves up 10 to 20% up immediately their is selling pressure and the price is back to old price. So it is roaming around 6000+ to 7000+ range.

Expecting bitcoin price to growth up. It should cross minimum $7500 by end of this month. Hope to have a come back but lest see what happens as we have been predicting the same from the day one but what happens at last is the value falls down. There are reasons for the falls but still unpredictable to assume the value of a coin. Compare to last year's growth, current situation is not so bad nor so good. Its genuine. Wish to see this trend continues.

Price isn't always the indication that we are having a good market though it has been the measurement for the majority.

Its always ready to get the pumped but the crypto economy is the one that would do to make the pump happen. Some news are disturbing the momentum whenever they see that bitcoin is getting ready for the pump and sometimes we are expecting too much from it.

This is hilarious how we predict the market price up trend in every next month that we face, I have already heard the theories about great market growth in every month before, since May 2018.
Yes, that's for sure. Hopes and forecasts for the price growth of bitcoin began in March, from the first spring days and continue to the present. With each month, when hopes do not come true, we transfer them to the next month. The last time hopes were for the beginning of autumn, but it's already the middle of September, but the good growth of bitcoin prices is not yet visible. Now basically already speak for November. This, in fact, is our penultimate hope.

All this pump talk is just talk.  I wouldn't risk money into Bitcoin at the present time unless I was one of those day trader types of folk.  And then you'd have to be really lucky or have insider knowledge.
I think this is too long now and most of the time has passed away and now it is not so far to have a great time in high market. The price will pump up in the upcoming months as said by experts as well besides which analysts are also saying that it may increase up to 30k US dollar by the end of the year or may be in the beginning of 2019. all we need to focus on is to prepare ourselves for investment in it right now so that we may have a good time in bull market.

I still don't see any good sign of pumping as the price is just slow changing ups and downs. I'm waiting for that moment to see if this can start a good rally as what we had seen last year but it seems the market is not good enough to make it. Let's just be patient to wait for the best to come.

in my view this is a good time to buy bitcoin and hold it until the end of the year, because it is estimated that the price of bitcoin will return high at the end of the year
September 2018 has half gone but the price is still below $7000, it means that this month is also not too good for bitcoin price. People are talking about the big pump in the price because they have seen such pump in the ending months of the last year, but it will not happen in this year because this year is not good overall besides the worst year for bitcoin is 2018.

Still,  I would say 'yes' but I am kind of scared right now to say anything about it. Bitcoin might be ready to jump, it might be ready to drop in price, it might be ready to just stay there like this for years who knows. I am afraid of saying anything about bitcoin, it has been a 10 month bear market so far and I always kept saying "now its time to jump" and every single time I stand corrected and the price just went down.

Whenever it went from $6k to $7k or $6k to $8k all I did was get excited and hyped for the incoming bull run yet each time it dropped again. From now on if I see the price going up I will not hold my breath because I know there is a higher likely chance of bitcoin dropping than increasing.

This is also just an speculation, ooh well I think everyone of us here have our opinion about this market, so technically if you have this kind of belief you are on a good side simply because you don't just simply believe in someone, you make your own study that makes you more confident about this market. Anything can happen anytime, but I'd rather hold my bitcoin for long.

Well, it looks like bitcoin is just preparing for the pump, but until now it hasn't happened. Well, according to what I see, the price of bitcoin is even stable at the price of $ 6500 at the moment. well, I just hope that the price of bitcoin will rise in the past few weeks.

Well a lot of people are saying that an etf approval would start a run and it could very well do but not really something to compare to other pumps in the past. I'm happy if we get a run that could get us past 8 or 9k.
It could give us satisfaction even if it only goes a little bit high from the current price. People will never appreciate it if they only saw $6k-$7k range, cause they may think their self that they could get more in the future.
I've never think ETF have a good effect to us, in fact we've got more declines  than on pumps.

Due to the altcoin, Bitcoin still has not been able to get a full rise, because those new altcoins are drawing money from Bitcoin!
I think that's not the reason bitcoin hasn't increased because new altcoin has been born continuously since last year. If bitcoin was affected, it wouldn't set a record in December last year.
People are always bound to look for silly reasons as to why the bitcoin market is down. First and foremost, the whole market is down and altcoin in general have been far beaten to the ground with bitcoin gaining dominance by the day, which makes me wonder if some just do not like getting themselves aware of the things going on or they just simply prefer staying in a limbo.

A lot of traders and investors are actually looking forward to this period as it is and I will not be surprised looking at the way the market has been trying to gear up for days now. September could bring about some bullish movement, no one knows, but for me, I know in a good condition of btc holding strong, the altcoins will tend to do very well and that won't still stop bitcoin in anyway.

Although, with the way bitcoin is, there is a lot of uncertainty in the market to which direction bitcoin is going to be taking and that simply is affecting participation in alts as much as a lot of them wants to move and showing some good sign lately. As the coming weeks pan out, will determine if there would be anything serious at all before this month ends.

Is Bitcoin ready to pump?
After a long wait, everyone wonders when Bitcoin will make a big pump. Many altcoins depend on Bitcoin and so it has some effect on them. So my question is: do you think Bitcoin is about to go up or should we expect a big drop?

it's hard to say anything for both possibilities. Or rather early! I don't expect a further decline. The supply-demand balance corrects the situation in the shortest time because there is a further decline. btc production decreases. there are a lot of people waiting for prices to fall further.
It's hard to say anything for ascension. but the graphics are not high. If September starts the upward movement then we can say that. but bitcoin has been trading on the same level for months.

As month of the December is coming and people would spend money for  vacation this is the month in which the demand will increase because people will buy bitcoin rather than us dollars  as their pocket money for  their vacation, because the are lots of countries that will accept bitcoins or crypto currency as a medium currency like  thailand and Philippines in  Asia, Bitcoin and other crypto currency is very comfortable to used because it is safe and fast.

It's been set and ready to pump. But it seems not to be fit as of the moment. Bitcoin is dropping and with what you said about bitcoin is being used now by new altcoins. To correct you, bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency that is always used for altcoins to trade.

Were on the midsts of September and yet market is still drowning so I believe you already know the answer on your question.and if i were you I wonít wait for the pump literally instead i will enjoy the market flow doing some small trades and add altcoins little by little to your folios so when that pump happens thereís a lot of option to celebrate for
This is because of the previous pump at the end of 2017. If there was no such pump people today would not wait for such pump again, but they have seen big jump before. In my opinion people should not wait for such huge pump because now the investment is not like the previous one and mostly people put their money in Altcoin due to huge volatility and dip in bitcoin price.

Checking the graph of bitcoin now, bitcoin has pumped its market price by 1.25% and let's just observe how it will go in the next couple of hours or days before this month ends. But overall, bitcoin is still in the bearish trend this month and a big pump can or can't happen with the remaining days of this month.

But no matter if it will not happen, i will not be disappointed since i have no plan of selling my cryptos yet.

I think neither a big pump or a large fall should be expected in my opinion. The price should still bouncing around 6000$ - 7000$ in nearly future. We could expect a price change only after the ETF decision.
We can not say like this and can not specify any time according to its price as we know very well that the value of Bitcoin is unstable and dependant on few factors in which the major one is demand or increase in the number of participants in market. It will rise soon but this time will not come again as you can make mistake by selling right now and one can buy on low price to save money.

I think Bitcoin should be bullish, why? Because blockchain is now recognized by more countries, and many countries have begun to legalize cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin will become the investment of choice when they start trading!

And to be afraid is completely understandable, many people talk about the growth that they want to see before the end of the year not understanding that we lost about 70% of the market value, people freak out if the stock market loses 10%, so it's completely natural to be afraid to invest in the market, however I recognize that the current prices are are very attractive and that those that are brave enough can take advantage of the low prices.

it will never happen until the end of 2019, bitcoin price will always stagnant between now until the end of 2019. it will not reach the last all time high price or even close to it, we have to be patient to wait and suggesting everyone to hold their investment in bitcoin. Target will start in the beginning of 2020 bitcoin and other cryptocurrency price will pump up to all new time high price.

I think it's not ready yet, even if it happens only a few small pumps because I see the price still stay at $ 6500.

No I donít think so. The price of bitcoin is almost constant for many months. You see that when the price rise a little bit the very next day it drops again. If this situation remains for some time, the price may fall more because already people have withdrawn their money or converted their investment to Altcoin because they have more potential than bitcoin.

The current status of bitcoin looks promising as it continues to rise little by little each day but it may fell down again in the coming days. We just don't know. The price movement of bitcoin and alt coins are just very unforeseeable so it's better not to expect much about bitcoin price pump this month.

September 30 is getting near. The market should start reacting (pumping), preparing for the VanEck / SolidX ETF.
Of course, there's a good chance the ETF will be postponed or rejected and then a new drop may happen.

The price will definitely go crazy if the ETF was approved, but we know the chances of that are incredibly low however I really do not know how much lower the price can go, we are very near the bottom even if the ETF was denied, I do not think it is going to have such a big effect as many people expect, however if it happens then you need to take advantage of it because those prices are not going to last for long.

There is no active pump with bitcoin now and yeah we may experience another dump because of that ETF. Well, this is highly expected and Iím already preparing myself to buy more when we hit the bottom price for this year trend. September 2018 is really different from the same month last year, we are more unstable this year.

Yeah there's no rigorous pumping this hopefully it will just move up gradually and take it little by little but surely no so much correction happens, but in the end of this year we can expect to pump rigorously because many will  buy because of the possibility of a sporadic spikes due to big demand.

Pump in the price will take more time. in this month there is no chance for growth in the price rather till the end of this year because this year was, is and will be the worst year for bitcoin. Too see the previous months for bitcoin price I can say that it will not increase in the remaining quarter of this year. we will have to wait more for rise in the price.

I wouldn't expect a serious several thousand dollar pump soon, but it does look like we are getting to the point where bitcoin will slowly start turning around soon.

As long as it doesn't break below the ~$6000 support line that has held multiple times all year, which would signal a longer bear market - and this seems extremely unlikely, then I think the for the rest of this year we'll see a slow turnaround and finally be at the start of the next long bull market by the end of this year.

I'd expect Bitcoin to stay in the 6 and 7 thousands for a bit longer but in December I think it'll be pushing back through the 8000s, signaling a clear beginning of a new bull market as so far this year every temporary high has been lower than the last, with the latest one being around $7400, so a break above that will likely signal we are in bull market. If crypto was still as small as it was a few years ago I would say maybe it would take a few more months for the momentum to shift and we'd hang around 6000s and low 7000s for a while, but there is just too much interest and media attention on Bitcoin these days for this bottom to hold for several months. In the future we'll probably look back on this as September and October being the end of the bear market and see a slow rough ride up starting in November. Apparently the parent company of NYSE is opening up a crypto trading desk or exchange or something in November, maybe that will be the catalyst that sparks the next rise that breaks the bear pattern of lower highs. Regardless these next few months should prove to be the turnaround.

Check out the BTC chart below, it looks clear that we are coming up on a momentum shift, likely over the course of next few months.

After a long wait, everyone wonders when Bitcoin will make a big pump. Many altcoins depend on Bitcoin and so it has some effect on them. So my question is: do you think Bitcoin is about to go up or should we expect a big drop?

Most of the crypto analyst are expecting for the price of bitcoins to reach 50k dollars before the year ends and that is a very good news because in this way we can expect to earn profit on december.

So far, the rise of almost every crypto as of this writing is very evident that the market looks very healthy, at least (if this won't last any longer this week). But if this is already the start of the bullish market, then everyone especially those who invested during the dip and those who hold will rejoice.

Bitcoin prices in December have not been able to return to be expensive, maybe because there is no good news that can trigger an increase in the price of bitcoin, bitcoin can be very expensive when there is good news and when the transaction gets crowded.

For me,,, we have just had so many false hopes so we should by now understand and accept that this is the price we will be having for a long time now. There is no bull run when it has not even been 1 year since the last one.

Yeah it may not that high as others speculating and expecting but this is more realistic and it actually happened. Big things are starting with smaller ones so those big gains that we are expecting to come should be tested with small gains.

I can feel those false hopes you mentioned and I'm also one of those people who hoped that there will be a big bull for this year. But that's how the market goes and we just have to ride and adopt it.

We cannot predict the market when will be the price hike and when the price will fall to the bottom..There might be a pump in the beginning of October 2018. If this happens then we can expect bitcoin to reach 15k! Every one expected 2918 would be much better than 2017, but it really went wisaversa.
