I don't think so myself. Normally it's good to buy low but I fear for ETH. They are reported to have some major issues in their code that need to be resolved before 2019 and they're also now facing much competition that they didn't previously have.

all i can tell you is that you shouldn't be greedy.

there still is a high chance that ETH is going to continue to go down as the whales dump and get out of it. and many believe that it is still a bubble which will continue to burst. so buying now will mean suicide.

besides when it comes to altcoins you should never buy them when they are low! you should always buy them when they are pumping. buying low means if you are lucky for months price doesn't move and if you are not the price dumps. but buying during pumps means making profit is guaranteed and you don't waste your money.

ETH has been on its lowest dip these days, that question doesnt need to be ask. As you can see, a lot of investors wants Bitcoin or ETH to be on the lowest dip in order to buy, and here you are hesitating. No wonder there are people who missed the dip and who lost during bullish market.

Ethereum is excellent coins for long term investment. Ethereum dropped now, I think it is good time to move  investment from other coins to Ethereum.

Trying to guess the bottom is just as much of a risk as trying to guess the top, no one really knows and technical analysis is of very limited use. To me these are low prices because I believe in the platform and technology so I'm buying as I'm able, but I have no idea if this is a bottom. I buy on regular intervals no matter the price, it averages the volatility and is my strategy for long term hold, with the assumption that over the long period the market rises. You'd rather not think of bullrun nor buying this time. Forget bullrun for it may take more than a year for the market to normalize. This isn't just the whales taking profit, they are controlling this market and manipulating its price. its best to just get into crypto without spending money . This time isn't the best time to invest.

Is there anybody here that have a crystal ball that can predict the future? I think none, we only speculate and hype that particular coin to make it appealing to investors. With regards to ETH, my take on that one is i would buy some more in it's dip because i do believe that this coin will rise again in the near future.

Be careful before throwing your fiat at cryptos right now. The market situation is pretty bad right now with sudden flash crashes and little to no green days. I see ETH reaching new highs but right now it could still fall lower.

I agree that now is a generally good time to buy, but I'm also not too sure about ethereum. The price went don't too much, and its current state in between mineable and pos seems like a risky time for a coin like this. Moreover, eth was mainly getting its price from icos, which are getting banned and regulated. Less ICOs means a smaller price for ethereum. I'd invest in btc, iota, ripple and perhaps some smaller amounts in eth and neo, because we cannot be sure the latter will be as useful and the ICO rash won't simply be over soon.

Normally it is good to invest in something when its price is quite low and then sell it when it rises. But I think there is something strange with Ethereum. There are some issues going on with their code which needs to be resolved before 2019. Otherwise the entire market is down and Ethereum is a great coin. Nobody know if bullrun is coming or not cause this market is really difficult to predict at the moment but IMO, I think you can buy ETH at the moment if you want.
