What are your plans for the crypt at the end of 2018?
Are you waiting for the repetition of the events of the end of 2017?

I think that there will be no strong trend, because there are no prerequisites for this. Many people are waiting for take-off, but I think that this take-off will be only in 2019.

I don't think there will be a similar thing like 2017.

I would be happy with a little bit pump.

In my community of traders, also do not believe in a sharp jump in 2018. The year in General is generally difficult, including for the crypt. If the crypt acquires a normal legal status, then expect a strong growth.

I do not think that there will be a repetition of last year at the end of this year, I do not see any good news for the growth of the market.

Personally, I do not think the rise when the market fully recover and the bull run starts will be the same like that of 2017 because this year, the market seems to fall more than it did last year and with rate at which coin dipped, the market will need lots of support and high demand for it to rise as much as this but, as we all know, crypto is volatile and unpredictable. Anything can happen, it can rise more than that and it can be otherwise.

I think that the rise will be closer to spring,there are very big changes in the political arena. people in anticipation of the best outcome of this situation. the prerequisites are to grow, so we will wait and hope for an early takeoff

A bull run is very unlikely this year we had it in 2018. We might be lucky to get some little pump towards the end of the year. There are currently no significant fundamentals to cause a bull run

hmm in a way I hope it is not so surprising and explosive as that would trigger another bear market in the market and we already know how disastrous that can be, so the best thing would be a stable and progressive increase of the currency, for example, if bitcoin reaches 10k by the end of the year that would be more than enough for me.

If there will be a significant increase then I'll start selling some of the coins that I'm holding.

Yes I am but it seem that there's a lot of things that aren't happening now and there's no repetition that has been seen. I was greedy before and waited for a higher price but I failed myself for having that type of attitude.

This is what no one can tell,  because the price is not determine by anybody. But we are just entering the fourth quarter which we all hope it will favour all investors.

The rise of 2017 was Ethererum and scam ICOs, the rise of 2018 no one know what it is.

I think bull run just like in 2017 will coming again in next year, the crypto market now need rest and while  to prepare for moonshoot.  There are many influencer and big investor interested to make invest in crypto,  just like Cofounder of Apple that interested with crypto and this is good sign because others big investor also will follow it.

I don't think so, in my opinion 2018 is reversed from 2017, that is crypto prices dropped very much.

This year maybe the most critical since cryptocurrency was born. The mass adoption will also be critical in current market.

It's the most expected scenario to happen within the year by most of the people in the crypto community. However, my personal assumption to the subject is that there might be a possibility that it may happen but the percentage could be low. I believe that btc could rise above $10K mark but most likely below the $15K level. Let's wait and see in the coming months of what will really happen to btc in the last quarter of this year.

I read some TA on trading view and some TA chart look very sense making! The common point of those chart is the bull run will not come in late 2018 but mid/late 2019. I prepared myself for that prediction.
However, nobody will be sure in this easy to be manipulated market since the whales control the price.

I think this year there will be the same pattern as last year's increase, if this doesn't happen at the end of this year it will happen in 2019, my plan this year is to buy some Ethereum and hold it for the long term, I think this is the right time because Ethereum is experiencing a decline.

As far I as know in crypto, past occurrence really doesn't play any impact whatsoever on what the future trends will be, so, I'm afraid I'd have to agree with your opinion, but the crypto's volatility could have us taken aback yet again. And as for my plans, all I think I'll do is to cash-in on some coins (To save myself from unnecessary panic selling) then sit back and watch how events will unfold.

I see that almost no one believes in a significant growth of the crypto currency by the end of the year, and for some reason I believe that a small growth will still be, maybe there will not be a significant jump, but in a small growth by the end of the year I still believe!

I agree with you that by the end of this year it will not be the same as 2017 and the event will not be repeated at the end of this year. indeed an increase will occur, but will not be as high as last year.

I don't think that the crypto market this year will be like it was in 2017. As you can see now, crypto market is going to bad direction. Bitcoin ETF are refused many times, more and more scam ICO born and ICO sell off raised ETH make Bitcoin and Ethereum price drop too much. There is no new financial flow put in the market. 2018 is a dark year for crypto market.

I totally agree with your opinions on this. To further burst the bubble of those waiting for prices rise at the end of the year, it will take another two to three years before we could see the kind of rise everyone is waiting for. It will not happen soon.

But in 2018, they have stuck their investments at high bitcoin price and have many investors feeling tired, they will sell the coin they are holding to recover the money when it touches the price they are expecting. and this thing will make bitcoin price hard to go up like in 2017.

In my prediction in the end of this year i think there is a repetation mate just like what happen last year in 2017 in the end of that year because at that time there is a big holidays christmas and new year and the demand in the market will increase.

Well yes what happened before might repeat this year but I think we should not be too confident for that event because market takes time to recover. It might happen but there's no specific time frame, each year its different. Nevertheless one thing is for sure we are heading to bull run and its going to happen in the future so lets be optimistic.

I think this is a good question and no one can give a exact answer. In 2017, the crypto market has welcomed a lot of new investors and they created the domino effect to pushed bitcoin price went up strong.
But in 2018, , many investors are very tired with their holding coins so they will sell immediately when the next bull run starts so it will make hard for bitcoin price hard to go up like in 2017.

all of us is waiting for the price to back to increase high like the last year and if the crypto market can increase like we saw in the last year, I will make sure to sell all of my coins and convert it to usdt or my local fiat and save it into my bank account. I think the history will repeat and we can see the crypto market will be back like last year. but I don't know if it's true or not because we still don't know what exactly will happen at the end of 2018 and the market still continues to go up and down until now.

Although the previous performance of BTC last 2017 doesn't affect the performance of the coin today, I am still hoping that there will be another price pump by the end of the year. I am assuming that the investors last year will invest at the same month (December) and that could really affect and increase the price. I also think that the price increase will not last because a lot of hodlers will sell as soon as the pump starts.

I think the market has gone against last year. And we should be careful in investing at the present time. So I think the best option is to hold. Hold for long until 2020 to get a better result.

I am very optimistic that the bull run of bitcoin will cause a rise in most altcoins by the ending of the year. Don't be downhearted at the current price of ethereum and the other altcoins because it would certainly increase with time.

The market seems very sick right now however if you believe this is manipulation such as I do you know the market will simply turn one day and start rising dramatically again.  You guys who think this is a free market and trying to judge it based off of that need to take a closer look.

Invest for your future, and this market is a good place for that. Yes, the next bull run may take more time and I think 2017 is really different from this year and we might not see strong bull market this year. Be patience and let's hope that 2019 will be a beginning of a new trend with bitcoin and other good coins especially with ETH who dumps so hard this year.

Certainly not the same. If the market is regular, then the world can get rich. This year will not be the same as last year.

even the situation now is not good and the happenings is opposiye to my predictions, we need to believe that it will happen again. the market is not good now and i am sure many will got sad because the crashing price is very low. but also, we need to accept that in this industry is jot always joy and bullrun there's crashing and that's true .

we will never know what will happen in the next few months, there are many possibilities that can occur in decline or growth. but if you look at the symptoms, chances are the market will be difficult to grow strong for the next few months. but another option that can be done is the purchase of altcoin or for ethereum.

I don’t think that’s going to happen but if it does I’m always ready for it. Why I said it’s never going to happen this year is because bull cannot come in two years straight, if it happened in 2017 it’s likely to take like about two or three years or even another ten years before another bull run takes place. The decline in 2018 is almost the same as the increase in 2017. The value of growth in 2017 has almost disappeared. This market is really interesting, so that everyone feels unexpected, enough thrilling and exciting.

Crypto will rise but I doubt if it will be as it was in 2017. I mean in terms of percentage. for example at the 3rd quarter 2017, BTC was around $3,000+ and it got to 18,000+ so in all sense BTC may go above $18,000 but not upto $36,000

The past year could have happened because it is a great possibility to jump the price of bitcoin because of the down prices of altcoins today.

It's very possible that we will have the rise. It's just as possible we won't.  I believe we are in a manipulated market where the manipulators are the money printers.  I believe we will go up whne they have accumulated enough tokens.  THey will then hype on the media and victimize a entire new crew of money losers.  This game is to take your money.

Hello! I think that this year's growth will not be so strong. I think some growth will begin in February 2019. Everything will depend on the legal regulation and adoption ETF.

Even if we will able to see a bull run, I don't think it will be strong as the one we saw in last year. For 9 months we still see only a downtrend. So during the next 3 months, I don't think we will able to see a strong bull run.

Do not wait for bull market in late 2018. There is no chance for it. ETFs will be postponed (declined) - this will cause a big crash (2000-3000$ per one Bitcoin) and after that big whales will join the market and price will skyrocket (mid 2019).

We all are waiting the same thing as it was in last year but only manipulators know how they're gonna do the trends .The best thing now is doing nothing and hold coins ,soon or later the market will start recovering anyway and one day we will cover our losses and may be get some profit.

We are already in the third quarter of the year, I think that it is hard to tell if we can expect a rise by the end of 2018. Hopefully by the time the new year starts, the price of bitcoin will rise again. And when it does, the price will be much higher than this year.

it is better to wait for what will happen at the end of this year because we don't know where bitcoin price wants to go. many of us still believe that the price can be the same as in 2017 but we need to wait for a while because the price now is below than $10,000 and we still have 3 months later before we are at the end of the year. many things can happen in this year because the cryptocurrency cannot predict and it is better for us to collect more and more bitcoin and make a profit from bitcoin.

I do not see a big trajectory north happening in 2018. I do believe though that maybe in the end of 2019 we might see that big shift because by then all the bigger banking institutions will have their hands in crypto, all the better infrastructure for mass adoption to bring new generations in, will be more standardized and in place. We are going into a massive market once ETFS, ETNS and other products and services are there to bring in billions of people in, we will see a huge rise, bigger than last year.

Definitely not. There's no way Bitcoin and other altcoins are making new high this year unless something big is happening (which is very unlikely). I expect a continuation of the bear market we're having since the start of the year. Still waiting for Bitcoin to break another leg and destroy the support at $6000 to get to $4000-$5000. I would say that the probability for such thing to happen is quite big, like 40-60%.

I don't think the next moon ride will happen in 2019 either. It's just as unlikely. What I'm looking up to is the next halving (2021-2022) to be the main fuel for the next bull run.

With the bounce back that we have seen in Eth from its support im feeling positive about the market, i think if eth breaks the resistance of 500 in few weeks and then 800 we can expect more bulls and expectedly new high prices by the end of the year.

Don't use past trends to compare this year's market conditions. This is the wrong approach. Their only comparability is just the total assets, not the growth trend!

There is no assurance in this market so setting up your target price is really good. Let's appreciate small things for now because the future will be big and people who took the risk on investing right now will become a great winner. We might not see a big pump this year, but we still have more time for the bull market, this is not the end yet.

I think this is really hard to happen. By a lot of investors fear and the unambiguous legitimacy. It's hard to convince them to keep pouring money in this market. May 2019 policies will be better, will surely attract many investors into this market

No, these big bull races don't happen every year. We can observe these statistics every 2-3 years, on average. But that doesn't mean anything. It may take much longer for the market to recover.

I am sure to hike this time will be much faster than the increase in 2017.

Well, its too early to say that market has unable to pump by this year, although $10K is very low price to speculate it can take in increasing value by 3 weeks successive increases. Mainwhile, we just hope and pray in everybody in cryptoworld to hold and avoid negative feedbacks for the easily increasing to remain trustworthy of every country into cryptocurrency.

Nope i am not waiting for repetition from the 2017 bubbles because i know that this will never happen again,market will grow but in normal and designated growth.little by little each year and not like a bullmarket things that is appropriate for a currency grow.

In my opinion we will have saw some growth at the end of the year but new maximum will not be reached this year.

As this is a tough situation I guess it will not be like last year, because we still see the status of the market is down this is time to hold the coins instead of losing money. Don't be in a hurry for selling coins. Let's wait and watch how the plays in upcoming days.

It might not be the same as year 2017, but I'm hoping the price will rise by the end of2018. Specially on december and before january 2019 start. It is good the price is good as I do have lots of expenses on that month.  I only hold and wait for the surprise of cryptoworld.

I think the prediction stating that the end of 2018 will be the same as the end of 2017 is wrong. Because if so many people will sell the land now and will invest in crypto. So crypto coin prices are very unpredictable especially predicting until the end of the year or the next 3 months.

Crypto prices has no pattern as the price will depends on how the market react on the supply and demand. I'm hoping that there will be a coming bull run but not as high as those of 2017. Don't expect too much as we are still in the bearish situation. Just be patience to wait and hope the there will be good news to reverse the situation.

I also see the same way. I don't feel that there will be another take off to the moon this year and the spirit of those investors seems to be low. The market nowadays seems to be tired and sleeping.  This is the longest time I experienced bitcoin stayed on $6000 price and seems always defending that position. I also telling my friends that 2019 might be different and will be greener than this year so I patiently waiting for the next year to come. I am pretty sure that a new surprise is coming and we can see bitcoin reaching above $10,000.

Nobody knows but there are possibility it might be the same either much higher or not. But its depend hows the market will be because it is so unpredictable, that's why prepare whatever the situation of the market. Although market right now is not good, maybe we should not expect more for the rising of the market, just let it happen and don't expect whatever the current situation because surely it wont last, just enjoyed.

My plan is very simple. I just want to wait the market recover better at the end of this year. Many people will hope so. Here, I will see how the market occurs in this year end. If the market better with higher price of my coins in the portfolio, I may plan to sell some of those coins. Of course, for now, I'm still collecting more promising coins for holding.

there is no great growth for this year or the next few months, according to the analysis I did. the market has almost the same overall pattern and bitcoin continues to survive at 6k. this is risky to drop lower. I don't think I'm doing any other speculation than waiting.

I personally don't think that the rise would be the same as in 2017 as then in condition wasn't that favourable to its users security and safety term. Many peoples didn't knew about BTC that time so when they got to know bitcoin their instant trust brought such rise in market but now most people know about BTC but they don't want to involve in this game that's why the fan base or users base on comparatively less than 2017 .

The same strong growth as it was in 2017, this year we will not see, and most likely next year too. The market will grow, but not so fast and intensively.

Who knows if there will be even an increase this year? remember that consistency is not a thing for cryptos and as such, there are possibilities that no recovery on continuous dumps would occur within a year. But this should not make the people worried given that the market prices are dependent with the demand and that being said, recovery has a high chance to happen someday.

Sincerely all crypto holders are expecting the reoccurrence of what happened in the year 2017 in this 2018, the crypto market has been down since late February 2018 and since then the true lovers of crypto have been holding. The only reward for this year is to have bull market by the end of the year.

I also agree with your status. before ending 2018 there is less possibilities to rise same as in 2017. before ending 2019 it will start next market cycle. But it will a slow run as i think. But 2019 will be a great year for crypto market.

I hardly think so. We can't say that what happened in the end of 2017 will be the same for 2018. There are no major events happening this year for the crypto to rise and boom again before the year ends. But, I'm still hoping that it might happen again. It is unpredictable market I can't say there's something good value in this end of year because it's only my forecast ,I was also hoping that there will be a good fluctuation and more valuable. Expectation never ends and time are running, that was opportunities here which is it comes and go.

we do not know the increase and decrease in market value. so you should always be careful when investing so you do not lose money. you should know the trading strategy for more money to be received. It's a good idea to keep up with the market to know when to invest or to sell altcoins.

I expect Bitcoin will rise again before this year end, I think it starts  in recovery process but if the rise will be same as 2017, I doubt it, 2017 was a rapid increase and a huge surprise in crypto market.

I think for 2018 unlike 2017, the market price will remain as it is now because the ETF is still not received by the US, if the ETF is accepted I am sure that the price of bitcoin will soar higher than prices in 2017, for now who have assets in bitcoin and altcoins are better to hold until the market will recover.

Doesn't seem like it. As at this time last year, there were already some really mad greenish trends on our charts, and it isn't the same this year. I also do not see 2018 ending like 2017 did. So no, the rise in 2018 isn't the same as that of 2017. As a matter of fact, I doubt if there would be any significant bullish trend for the reminder of this year.

I think there will not be a great rising of prices in the end of 2018. Well maybe something like this will happen but now this situation doesn't look like it going to end in a few months. But I bet on the beginning of 2019. I think new year will bring us new market state.

2018 did not show such growth as in the previous year and if you think objectively it is unlikely to bring, but I think that the market will begin to gain momentum by the end of the year or early next year.

I don't think the rise in 2017 would be duplicated in the 2018. There are a lot of  problems and fuds that are causing the slow growth this year. One factor that i can think of is the elusive etf and the slow global adoption of btc. Nevertheless i am positive that all the impedements to cryptos rise will be resolved thus would lead to long awaited skyrocketing of  the crytos' prices.

From the topic I would say no, the rise may have but we should not over expect it like as it was in 2017, but I still have the feelings that the rise will happen.

I completely agree with you. I read a lot of articles and opinions on the forum and they all basically boil down to the fact that it is hardly worth waiting for the growth of the market this year. In any case, even if the market recovery starts this year, it will not repeat the growth as in 2017.

I do not think that last year will be like this year in the world of cryptocurrency where bitcoin reaches almost $20 000 in value. I also think the same. The price of btc may rise at the end of the year but it won't be as high as last year. But I am not threatened with this crypto's situation. I believe it won't follow a predictable cycle because it is highly volatile but for certain, at some time in the future it will recover surely recover.
