CryptoKitties, Decentraland, God's Unchained etc. Is it possible to earn profit on this games or not?

Uhmmm I think there is no game to make money with it . Maybe just slots/gambling and stuff like that . I like the idea with the games on blockchain maybe we can avoid hackers

Well all I know is that a lot of people did made good money on crytokitties. I am not into gaming so cant give an expert advice, however, if you think it as a investment point of view, investing in collectibles with limited supply do have potential to give you good returns.

maybe yes .... but i think game with RPG genre (like perfect world, etc) can make a good choice.

Frankly speaking, all such games are nothing more than just a HYIP, which very well goes into the crypto-exchange community, but this is a very temporary phenomenon, which in the future will simply disappear.

There is a game Monsterbit, is currently being developed. It seems to promise to be interesting. Mana is very well grown and not particularly greatly subsided, I think the potential is there. Well, in principle, the game on the blockchain is an interesting topic

I'll ask you this. How those sites do exist if they aren't profitable on the very first place? Ofcourse they are earning profit and that's why they do exist on this market.
None of site owners would just waste up their work,effort and money just to launch a site which wont really benefit them the thing here is that it would matter if
the game will hit or just flop so its still a gamble.

i read that not long ago someone bought a cryptokitties for 600 eth so they are not simple games but you can also earn with them

The cellarius project is interesting not quite a game yet but essentially its a fan driven multi media franchise that uses a blockchain based consensus tool that allows the community to vote on whether or not fan submitted works become cannon or not. Its an interesting idea to be sure.

It's great. There are some collectibles, where you are the solely owner of the collectible (for instance a baseball card) with the ownership of related smart contract. It can't be taken away and it stays on the blockchain forever. Digital collectibles are the future!

What about MMORPGs with weapons and equipment the is saved to a blockchain and for every End Game Raid completed or player that it is possessed by, it is permanently granted a stat boost or feature that makes it legendary in its own right. maybe also keep record of of its prior owners too. for posterity.

It seems to me it is very good idea. But on condition that the contract of a game will be in open access and will undergo testing. If it turns out that it honest, then why and is not present.

Maybe some user get profit on that games. But the good choice is the gambling games like poker because it is like trading risky but profitable if you have a great move.

I'm not a fan of computer games, and generally consider games a waste of time , well , only if they aren't aimed at the development of logic and thinking, that is, educational games. Games on blockchain is something that has always excited the gamers. They see it as a fun way and a break too from the stress and at the same time a way to earn crpto too.

People have earned from Cryptokitties and Fomo3d as far as I know. Gods Unchained is also coming up with their own tournament where the prize pool has reached up to 1.6 million dollar. Also there are Bitcoin betting sites which integrates games like poker in their platform. So, there are ways to actually earn from these games.

In my opinion giant gaming brands should think about this because we know the power of this technology in different aspects of our life that can range from payments to entertainment to games. Regarding the theme and CryptoKitties, Decentraland among others we can consider a young market that can still be heated and profitable.

I think the better question is to ask if blockchain is a viable platform for games.  To me, a game is a First Person Shooter or an MMO.  A decentralized gaming platform would have many advantages.  The last Battlefield game I bought was Battlefield 2042.  To me each game in a series is just the same game with updated graphics and textures and maps.  But what really grinds my gears is that the gaming companies have taken away the ability for the community to host their own servers.  I can't play Battlefield 2 anymore because of this.  Yes, there is a third-party authentication service but EA/Dice stopped supporting BF2 ages ago.

It is my belief that the big game companies are trending towards a subscription-based service for their games, so if you want to play BattleGameWhatever you will need to pay an annual subscription much like XBOX Live. 

There are games like that now, they are called MMO's, but MMO's started out that way and offer much much more in the way of content.

It is my hope that develops a blockchain where the blockchain itself contains the game data, the wallets will act as the launcher for the games and masternodes act as the servers.  If this can be accomplished then it will be impossible for a central authority to shut a game down.  As long as people are actively supporting with open wallets and masternodes you will be able to play.

Tha gambling field is really suitable to blockchain, I've seen a lot of projects related to it make some progress recently, however those that promise rewards just by playing them without any risk, those may be an scam.

It is likely that a new boom for crypto games will begin soon as in that year in winter. We'll find out soon.

Well all I know is that many individuals did earned substantial sums of money on crytokitties. I am not into gaming so cant give a specialist counsel nonetheless,on the off chance that you think it as a venture perspective putting resources into collectibles with restricted supply do can possibly give you great returns.

The main factor is being one of the first "adopters" or better put, players. Some of the first CryptoKitties were selling for tens of thousands of dollars at the peak of the game, not sure how the kitty scene is doings now, it rapidly lost its novelty.

I will say it’s a good idea but it depends on the games. If the games are not interesting, entertaining and also excusive then people will not be interested. And if they are good the owner can earn good amount of money I think.

It seems to me that the game is a completely different direction of using the block chain. in any case, for this purpose, new games of the company are conducted, with the provision of their ideas, and there are also quite a few other projects where other crypto-currencies can be used. Not sure.  My Daughter 14 is hooked on PS4.  You better bring some serious gaming experiences to pull the kids off xbox and PS4.  Maybe in the future it will be able to compete but we need a lot more mature in the industry before that can happen. 

I have some eth.town  tokens, gems and hero from bounty, so i am playing a little. As i see - it is not profitable if gas price is high and very small profit if it is low. I am just playing for fun.

I rather stay away from those games, generally they promise big gains and all but they end up being scams, try to stick to traditional investments for profits.

I have never tried any of them and I am not sure that I will do this in the future,as for me, it is really strange. i prefer keeping coins and then selling them when the price is high. it is not as risky

Those games are interesting because it is integrated with blockchain + crypto's which means you can play and at the same time earn respectively. 

Those cryptokitties became of a trend last December but I didn't tried it.

I think this is going to be the next trend. Games that will allow you to earn, as in real games (RPG,MMORPG,MOBA,etc.).

I think this can be good option for creating money if the game is enough interesting and exclusive as well. Then people will get interested to play such games and the owners will make money from that

Money can be earned in most modern online games, including the above. Games on the blockchain are more honest, now there is no administration that is ready to draw any thing to any player for money.
