As the title says, very simply I want to gather people's opinions on the investor sentiment and the future of ICO as a form of fundraising.

some icos will be successful many others will be just scam that more burden the people than help them, among the scams will be also the unrealistic ones, and those that were created to scam people in the first place.

people will nevertheless get tired of the scams from icos and return to different ways of investments

i think some icos will be successful many others will be just scam. which ico provide better service they will be stable in market and hold their place. better ICO take better place its normal.

Initial coin offering aka icos has become one of the most popular fund raising channels. I think it has come to stay many companies have made tons of money through ico. I even see it getting more popular a d more accepted by both the investing public and project owners

What I have realized recently is that people are no longer interested in investing in ICOs. Also, many ICOs that just completed are fearing to list whereas the existing ones are striving to provide products else they die out.
My take: in the future, ICOs shall provide a viable product without even considering to list and also if you don't get a governmental approval, no one will buy.

Good ICOs will be always listed. Because people keep faith on good ICOs. Good ICOs are always trustworthy so people are interested to invest in secure ICO. And for ICO will exist in the market.

IF this year projects fail to take off, then ICO's will have limited success next year. This year we have seen most of the ICO's are nothing more than scam.

Till now I see the level of ICO changing day by day in terms of growth. Now, most of the investors do research and not blindly invest in any projects. Last year I had seen many invested just blindly even in my circle. Even for normal coins also investors not rapidly ready to invest. This makes hard for the scammy project and can you advantage for good project or who are really innovating.

Initial coin offerings will get better when the price of bitcoin significantly improved, that would mean the market is bullish and there will be enough buyers during ICOs and after listings

The general challenge now is that there are not enough traders in the market to create huge demands as we normally would have a bullish market, there fore prices do not move as fast as they would have

The future of Few ICO is bright as the sun LOL. Rarely do you find them. It takes extra research to invest in the good ones and higher risk, because Cryptocurrency is all about Risk. Many of us miss taking these Risky opportunities.

ICOs will reduce their Hard Caps in 5-10 times because they are collecting too much money now which they don't need and investors don't want to invest because of bad ROIs. And we will see ICOs with ready MVPs or prototypes of future products on blockchain.

The big issues ICOs are having now are the are the parasites called scam and scammers if only the system can be purified of it then icos will have a future but if it does not then ico might go forever people are not ready to waste money on things that cant pay back

I think that ICO is a very convenient tool, for example, it is very difficult to buy shares of a company, or to invest 100$ at the initial stage - it's just ridiculous. But in the ICO - no problems, invest can be minimized. Control scams and all be good.

When we research on the cryptomarket, we can easily see, some ICO are always successful. And some of the ICOs are far from the market system. I think they will be open and the better one will be listed.

Many of blockchain experts express their opinion that public ICO have come to the end of their era and I agree. The cryptocurrency boom has already ended, and it is needed something more valuable than hype.

ICO was one of the best place to invest with crypto. But recently there are full of scams project. Newbie feel hard to find a good project to bee benefitted. So If ICO can avoid the scam projects then it's should be the beest term to invest.

People feacing trouble to find out a promissing projrct from ICO. But if investor be aware to find out the right one by some analyssis then it's can be the best platform for them to invest.

ICO is dying to raise funds for a project, many understood it already and are using the traditional method. There are even small companies that planned to raise funds but finally dropped the idea.

In my opinion I think there will be a point where there are more icos and everyone will be fed up so there will be a certain body that will check icos before their launch.

I'm happy with new projects and the new tokens make a lot of choices on the market and those who start with the ICO as an option to find funds are very good
they not only can get investors, but they can also build communities to be stronger before they are truly ready to compete.
I think the future of the ICO project will be bright, but of course I hope there will be more projects that are truly real and committed to developing their technology for humans

I think the future of ICOs depends on the Ethereum! If ethereum coin stays for a long time then ICO Projects will be coming! Otherwise, there will be no ICO! To build a new crypto project, a company needs funds! So, to gain the necessary funds, crowdsale is very important! So, I hope ICO's future will be great

The future of ICOs is very shaking. A lot of people have lost confidence in ICOs because most of the tokens loose a great value before exchange below the ICO price.

There are so many being released these days with high ambitions, i think that eventually they will be realistic with their hopes in that they will only raise a few hundred thousand rather than the millions of dollars they are aiming for

Stagnation will end one day, and ICOs will breath again. Crypto still searching for startups.

That is of course, but we will not be able to remove all the ico scam because there are many ICOs that have successfully sold and their projects have run. But after a short time the project was abandoned and did not continue to develop. That is also called scam ICOs. Works without creating minimum product

That may stop soon since the ICO hosts gather a lot of money in their sales. The newer coins could gain more value overnight once Bitcoin gets expensive enough.

for me the future of ico depends on the stability of the exchange, if the market continues to deteriorate, there will be many people who think many times to invest in an ICO.

There are many icos but not all are successful there are many icos which are affected by scammers. But I ICO’s have a successful future. There are many good investment are happened here and there project are also successful.

The icos market is still very young and  we are at the early stage of it development therefore a lot need to be done for people to accept it as a mode of investment. The future of icos market is bright and we needs to have faith with it. More also needs to be done in the area of security and scamming.

I think ICO has a future. even at low rates today. There are worthy companies that continue to work no worse. Probably for ICO takes time. To recover. and earn normally.

This is very uncertain to tell something for future. Some initial coin offering project will last longer and some will vanish very soon. In this market of ICO, many are scams. One suggest for those who want to invest in Ico, must have informative and business carefulness.

In most of the country it is still illegal. No need of tax from these country. You have pay taxes only on your profit.Govt dont have any ability to monetize you in decentralized market. So huge ways not giving taxes.

Despite ICO reputation spoiled by scam projects, there are still promising and original projects on the market.
Most likely it will not gain its popularity back, but will make a valuable contribution represented by these and future reliable projects.

The main problems associated with PPI are transparency and market instability. I think in the future at least one problem related to transparency and security will be solved, there will be services regulating this process.

what will happen in future, foretelling is very hard in ICO investment. They offer you coin to make you attract. They may not last for a long. It will be better to invest in genuine coin like Bitcoin or ethereum.

Inasmuch as crypto is existing, ICOs will continue to troop in. So ICOs still have great future ahead of them. The only thing we need to eliminate is scam ICOs and drastic reduction in falling victim.

In few years we will remember ICO like we remember president Clinton now - mainly that somebody had some fun.

I am sure that the ICO ban as it happened in China is the wrong decision at the state level. Any categorical inhibitions annoy people. Regulation of ICO is necessary. The future of ICO is bright and good in the next year or two.

I am believe more new ICOs will coming. Early 2018 is golden era of new ICOs, many ICOs launch and some success with their fundraising and some fail.  New ICOs always keep coming because new project with different purpose because people need evolve.

Always new ideas are welcome by the investors but they need to execute their project in well manner like described in their whitepaper but lot of ICOs were just hyping with attractive words but at the end they are not having much in their project,in 2018 lot of projects were failed due to not enough investors so it is not going to be easy for that team they need to come up with unique ideas to stay in the hunt.

it's seems to me that in the last few months, ico's team have had much more problem to raise fund only with ico's itself. Often they need to make deal with big private investors with venture capital

for a time it might be many see scam that exists within ICO. and it seems like many investors in this period began to fret with the circumstances that exist because it does not also can generate for them. need cleanup and also accuracy in choosing not to let this future ICO increasingly sustainable again.

ICOs in the future will be more regulated, like normal stocks and everything will be more transparent and safe for investors, but also everything will be more diffcult for creators - this probably reduce the number of ICOs.

Yeah, that's true. There are many scammers within ICO nowadays, and it's not good for the future of ICO itself. I hope there will be a punishment for those irresponsible scammers out there, so we can stay here in a long time and make the investors believe in ICO again.

I believe the future of ICO will still increase to the better, cause lately there are project/coins that are started to be used for payment.
And without a doubt, it will be able to makes the cryptocurrency being accepted by the people.

An ICO will be destroyed if some people who promote the project are scammers like you. A project will not succeed if there is no place to promote the project. It is not easy to make a project successful and it is not easy to make every investor interested to investing on it. Until now a marketing or promoter is the spearhead of a project, even though the project has a good function and has the potential to be used by everyone in the future but if no one is promoting the project it will be useless.

ICOs will become less and less popular as most of them fail to do well at the exchanges. Remember it's people's investments going down the drains with these failed ICOs. So, soon it will be only very great projects with a good value proposition that will remain in the space.

I think that at some point Icos will stop existing or become useless. The reason why I think so is because of all the scams that we have now roaming our streets. They are making it really hard to be investing in these ICOs, and that's not good news. If it continues, a time will come when people will completely run away from investing in ICOs.

I think that in the future the number of ICO projects and the amount of funds raised in this way will only grow.
