The current situation has caused me to hold huge sum of money that I intended putting into btc and altcoins. I know once btc jump, altcoins does same.
So the question is can anyone predict the price of btc for the next month? To enable me invest...

it is quite difficult to predict what happen next month but we can guess that The Bitcoin price can go up from $6k to $12k in next month. here is a long-term increase is expected.

There is no way that anyone can predict the price of bitcoin for the next month, they can speculate but that is pretty much all the can do, it is impossible. If people could predict the movement of bitcoin then they would be making millions off the market every month, it all comes down to the same thing, you buy the coins be patient and wait for better prices.

because i can give you at least a dozen examples in the past 3 years that bitcoin went up but altcoins actually dropped down. some of them had big dumps because of it!

all i can suggest is that you should never make investment plans like this! like investing in altcoins because bitcoin is going up! that is like suicide.

You don't have to be confused. If you ask a prediction of a bitcoin price to anyone, no one can predict that surely, buddy. If you have invested much money and you still hold it when the price is down (like now), it is a right choice. You have to wait until the price of bitcoin rise again.

What kind of prediction are you talking about? Even technical analysis is not capable of giving 80% accuracy. I think that the market is manipulating crypto, which means predictions will not work.

In my personal opinion, i expect decent growth in coming months, i think btc will break the downtrend line and then we will see good gains till november and december.

BTC price is so hard to predict since crypto currency is so volatile. Since there are many rumors saying that maybe later this Q4 of the year we will have a bearish market which would increase BTC in price but not as high as it was back in January.

When you do try to look at the prices since from the start of this year you can really say that this is really a very long bearish market.Please do look on the floor prices and if you do really make some analysis we are currently on bottom prices either on Bitcoin itself or on to those top altcoins.If I do have the money then I would took up the risk on entering these low prices. I do not think anyone can do a right prediction about BTC prize next month because of manipulated market condition most of the graphs is not working well. First of all we must watch the news and physiology of the market which does not sends  good signals for me.

It is absolutely impossible to say that next month the price of bitcoin will decrease will not be stabilized! It is sure that the price will change because the bitcoin price changes, but no one can tell it will decrease it. But the more time it is worth, the value of which will not be reduced without the increase! So the best way to hold it.

People have very unrealistic views about what trading is about, they think a trader is able to predict precisely what it's going to happen in the market and that's not true, I prefer to think about technical analysis as a weather forecast, if you are good at what you do your predictions are going to be more or less right most of the time but sometimes the conditions are going to change so rapidly that your previous analysis is completely wrong.

I think that there are no difference analysis and graphics prediction methods from telling fortune models. These analytical methods are developed for traditional investment instruments. Not for the crypto stock exchanges that are open 24/7.

Anyone can always give their own "predictions" on what the bitcoin's price will be tomorrow, next week or next year but no one can really give the right amount besides, who cares? as long as you believe in this technology you must not be affected on what the price will be.

I do think this is possible and my reasoning is very simple all the indicators in technical analysis only look at the past, after all how they could look at the future if the future has not happened yet? We all are aware with this fact that bitcoin is a volatile crypto currency and then a part of investment so both these factors contributes a lot in flactuation of valuation of bitcoin, as it varies according to market demand and supply and we also are aware with the sky high valuation of bitcoin in the last December’s month then it started deflating with the beginning of this year but not to worry at all , as there are assumptions that there is about to come a pump after this deflation period.

It is really hard mate. We can not know anything about future in crypto. Eversecond crypto have chance to pump or dump. With that huge news we can see very different prices in positive

And even if someone really has such ability to predict btc price, why would he share these predictions with anyone? He would rather silently buy and sell and become superrich. So for me I think what will increase the bitcoin price should be the ETF approval and that is yet to happen and no one knows when it will happen.

It is becoming harder to predict the market these days. Fundamental analysis does work for me sometimes. Technical analysis works better. Simple "Buy low Sell high"  works even better.

Just divide your coin into six parts for example. Keep all of them in a Stablecoin. Use a part to buy some Bitcoin or other major coins whenever there is a major dip. When the market goes up you sell everything and exchange it back to the Stablecoin. [You buy more if the market continues to dip]

Elliot waves and gann square are known  analysis methods for intraday trading but it can't be used for crypto charts imo.

The market has been going down is not the reason for grow.  However most of the technical indicators are pointing towards bull trend and we should expect more upwards movement in some months and years to come.  Op made this thread somewhere in September last year and currently the price is lower than when op open this thread.

I think it wont go so high but some 100 to 300 usd price rise we can see next month as halving is nearing market is reacting and moving up slowly as the supply will decrease and demand will increase.

Someone will predict btc price, for example if 10000 peoples predict different numbers, someone will probably be correct. But predicting the correct price is not how trading with cryptocurrencies work, nor technical analysis is something like a crystal ball. Important thing is that you do not need to predict correct price to be profitable trader. It is all about risk management, keeping calm in difficult moments, sticking to the strategy and patience.

You will find different analysis from different analyst in cryptos. There are many other factors like volume, news etc in cryptos which have a lot of weight.

According to me, the price prediction for may is $7k to $7.5k

There is no way you can predict the price of bitcoin it is a highly volatile currency, don't expect it would reach moon so fast. It may remain stable for some time or it may increase a bit and would be in between 5.5k to 6k in the next month.

This, people have a completely mistaken idea of what being a trader is about, predicting the price correctly is not really what a trader does, as long as you can predict the overall direction of the market and you can control your losses and your emotions then you can be a profitable trader, predicting the price is really fun but it is not the way to make money as a trader.

It is unlikely that some kind of comprehensive study will allow you to understand exactly how the situation will develop in the future. After all, there are many different factors that can directly affect BTC prices. But I still believe in the huge potential of BTC, so I regularly invest money in its purchase.

Any informational news in my opinion can influence cryptocurrency pricing.  If these are negative or positive statements, and especially if an analysis of an authoritative publication or a pioneer of cryptocurrencies, then such information will in any case leave its mark on the cryptocurrency market not only throughout the week, but also the next day.
