Title: REALLY WORKING CRYPTOPROJECTS (not from top 50)
Post by: SamDummy on September 13, 2018, 04:56:02 PM
There are a lot of cryptoprojects, but really working very little. Working in the real world, not only as an electronic money for transfers. (or on exchanges)
Let's collect here all the projects that already work with the cryptocurrency in real world, after ICO (and similar).
Can You remember something? (not from top 50 (because they are so well known to everyone))
_______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ ___
Update
I admit projects that really work, at least just work - following the roadmap. They may not have a finished working product or the economy can does not work , but the project team conducts systematic work, the project is not abandoned.

Created Russian topic - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5029867 ( - the overwhelming majority of projects were proposed there)
And Created LIST REALLY WORKING CRYPTOPROJECTS (not from top 50): now alphabetized
Attention! I do not urge to invest in these projects! You always have to think with your head! Any working project may stop work tomorrow. There is always a risk.

Created sait (because the list doesn't fit here) http://workingcryptos.com/en/ (see here the current list of 146 projects)
Additionally copied list on https://docs.google.com/document/d/1aKRn3ubGhTPOCaHh5EuYXxj2t3m3kiKHc2BIdcKemW0 (update when there is time)
I do not add to the list: just coins, or just exchanges, where there is nothing but the coins themselves, the wallet or the exchange. I think to make just separate categories (lists) on the site (http://workingcryptos.com/en/). Also on the site (http://workingcryptos.com/en/) I plan to make a separate list of projects with a ready-made working product /service. (categorized)

_______________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________________

PS
Thanks to everyone who joins the discussion, especially with specific offers! Thanks to You, this list is growing!

There are also some very nice algorithmic trading projects that i have recently discovered where you have to purchase their tokens then deposit them to the account at their platform their algorithmic bots will trade for you hands free and yield returns, some working platforms include rialto and dropil while foxtrading is another project that will launch soon.

There are many wonderful and undervalued projects that are not even included in the top 200, unfortunately this is how the crypto market works. But the positive thing about this is that the prices of these projects can grow much stronger and faster than the price of the top 50 projects.

Thank You! for suggestions.

Buddy already working, it is.
But he hasn’t collected money yet, will the project work after collection, suddenly there isn’t? suddenly collect money and say "bye" or collect little and will close.
Although of course it is very unlikely! Even so, I suggest to wait a bit.

Kick and Crypterium really working and I will add them! Thanks! Worthy of Merit!

As for Universa, all not so good. I still can not understand why having own blockchain, do tokens on Ethereum)  :D

the problem is that even if the platform is working, the number of actual users are actually quite dismal... real world user adoption is a tough prob to crack...

Nice! Thanks! I will add both to the list!
Unibright a company that has been working for a long time (20 years). On ICO 97 257 817 UBT sold / 150 000 000 UBT all. Starting price was $0,14 = 1 UBT (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/unibright).
Vicetoken,  definitely works too. It is not clear only they have their own blockchain or only a token on the Ethereum. VIT (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/vice-industry-token). (not everywhere legally)

Yes bancor is strange with that high exchange fees, I paid 7-8 $ for converting some token to eth (about 200$ of value), but when withdraw eth from bancor fees were not high, maybe 0.5$. But its still good and working platform, first of all decentralised, no kyc needed, and great opportunity for new eth tokens to get listed!

My focus has always been on Docademic. Apart from investing in it, i participated in its signature bounty and it was an interesting one. My participation in the project gave me the opportunity to realise the gem in it. It is one of the very few projects that despite the bearish market, it rose above its ICO price. It is still waxing stronger and i have the believe that it will bring a lot of transformation in the healthcare sector.

bancor and effect.ai are my favorite tokens, they are not as popular as other altcoins, but they have real and useful products for their communities. there is another interesting altcoin, maybe you can check it, cindicator.

I recently learned about a company called Crafty - https://ico.crafty.work/?detect=en-GB
They had a rather unsuccessful ICO in terms of gathered funds but they have a working product. It is used for the self-employed industry in Brazil where you can offer or search for services like handymen or maids and put them to work. Seems kind of interesting.

According to their site:

WHAT IS CRAFTY?
Crafty is a decentralized and free platform with the mission to tokenize the self-employed industry and create a new and revolutionary ecosystem for the self-employed workers and their customers, based on the power of reputation as value and currency!
Crafty's MVP, Diaríssima, has been successfully operating for almost 2 years in Brazil. It is present in 170 cities and has over 30,000 registered users.

the next blockchain. supposedly for e-commerce. I am skeptical about such projects, where in essence there is nothing but a coin.
5 Miles are essentially their creators. I agree that the work is on. But this is another blockchain.
Let's see if he really needs someone, then add to the list.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Yes, there are some good projects which are not in the top 50 because of their volume I guess. But looking at the volume always is not the best thing and we should be checking out the liquidity, trading patterns, price movements etc. They are not always dependent upon it neither they should be invested by looking at their volume or so on.
I am glad you have included Bancor, Dent, Bobsrepair and the last one being very new has got huge potential really. Yes, this list makes sense because there is also great potential outside top 50 box.

Understand. I make a website, directly for the list, where it will be convenient to sort it by category, alphabet, date added, etc. (a bunch of indicators)
And here is a forum, there will be a discussion.
I'm waiting for your suggestions, friends!
By making such a list, we help each other to understand what we have really working, from the diversity on the market.

A real working project produces goods or services. And these goods and services buy.
If this is not the case, the project cannot be considered to be really working.
What products and services do projects produce from the first post? Who buys them?

Well that is really one good information that you have there. I do wish that you will be able to share more about ICOs that failed. Actually much better if you can try making this something like a website of sorts so that everybody can access it.

I will explain once again (Hello from the Russian theme).
Not necessarily something to produce to get on the list. Enough that the project is working (is not closed and does not stand still).
Do you really not understand why and who needs these projects?
Who need:
Decentralized Cloud Computing Blockchain Network;
resource that allows any user to create liquid smart tokens, which automatically calculate their value and allow the exchange without the involvement of third parties;
a project that uses blockchain in the repair industry of private houses / apartments;
....
and 46 more projects (I’ll finish the English part of the site with a full list soon, the entire list does not fit here anymore).

Thanks! The site is already in development. I will make it gradually convenient and useful.

Give an example of a company that may need these services?
Imagine that you are a manager in this project and the boss ordered you to find a buyer. Who will you call and offer to buy the product?
I understood your idea and what projects you consider to be working. I just wanted to point out that there is work, and there is a waste of resources. Monkey work. Sisyphean task. Carrying coals to Newcastle.
Good luck!  ;)

Added to the list (on sait (http://workingcryptos.com/en/)) a couple more working projects in the field of renewable energy: Power Ledger and WePower.
surely many have heard about these projects, I don’t remember whether they were in the top 50 or not, but now they (as well as many) have fallen down and got lost, but the projects are working (and necessary, I think).

greetings and congrats for this usefull topic! This information need to be gathered and discussed and will surely help others on their own quests...
maybe worth taking a look at Fuzex, saifu, forty seven bank

of course that this is a tricky job, evaluating the projects that should and shouldn't be on the list, especially at this point in which many projects are at the brink of failure... but if we all help to keep it updated, I still think this will be a valuable resource for people who want to do their own investigations and have a good starting point on this list
cheers  ;D

Thank You! for support! and suggestions too! It is important (because so far very few people here support and help).
Never heard of these projects (like many, I think). Very intreresting projects from the financial sector.
Fuzex - essentially, created a new product, I have not seen suchlike.
Saifu - one account for fiat money and cryptos. Convenient, but not unique. This is already offered by many - the built-in exchanger.
Forty Seven Bank (FSBT Tech now) - Open API Platform for fintech developers. Any institutional organisation (Banks) will be able to use this services without the need to modify their existing infrastructure.
In all these projects, work is in full swing! Therefore, I will definitely add them to the list! Thanks again!
People, who have Merit, make a plus dentolas.

Thank you for your reply!
In fact I am happy to cooperate! I confess that during these last months I've lost a bit of interest on the forum as it became a chaos full of people (and bots) after the quick cash and fake ICOs... regarding the merit system, although I admit that a radical change is needed concerning ranks, is a system that protects the high ranks and makes it almost impossible for other people to rank up, making the forum less attractive to real users, I think...
This topic is a very good iniciative that can actually help people to learn about working projects. I'll keep suggesting new projects when find or remember new ones...
Just now I've remembered metamorph, it is an exchange that is supposedly about to launch their platform, they have a morphing system for exchange and plan to have a debit card associated... not new... but nevertheless I think they are working
cheers  ;D

edit: just remembered another one: OAX - decentralized dex with a new concept... worth to check
(seems I know about too many parojects on the financial sector, just realized that I need to diversify  ;D   )

thank You for help! Thanks to you, I have already added 3 projects.
I do not add to the list just coins, or just exchanges, where there is nothing but the coins themselves, the wallet or the exchange. I think to make just separate categories (lists) on the site (http://workingcryptos.com/en/).
Also on the site (http://workingcryptos.com/en/) I plan to make a separate list of projects with a ready-made working product /service. (categorized)
and Thanks for the information on exchanges.
I didn’t even hear about MetaMorph. Looks good! It looks like something like Deex. I respect such decentralized exchanges. OAX also it will be necessary to make a separate list of decentralized exchanges.
I will be very happy if you help me further! All together we make  a useful informative site - a useful thing.

Interesting list. I was not expecting to see some of the tokens I got from bounty to be listed there. Anyway, out of all the projects listed, it it Syscoin that I like the most. I have been following it since last year.

You may add this one on your list as the project is really great and the team isworking so hard to get the success.
They are the LOYALCOIN! they had a SOLD-OUT ICO...
They are listed on some big exchanges. they are targeting the whole world in new system of loyalty rewards without expiration and convertible to any merchant products.

Please remember guys double check those ICOs. I see potentials on those mentioned but not all of them will be relevant in the future. Most are ICOs from last year that has reached hardcap. They already have funds and another factor to consider is how their team activity if they follow their own roadmap properly.

It sounds good!
Thanks for information!
Frankly, it is not clear why need it, why not just make cashback just in (fiat) money or a cryptos (BTC , ETH ...).
However, the project works, the team works (this is a sufficient criterion) - I have to add in the list.
In addition, there are partnerships and demand for the services provided. This is a good indicator.

Good list. I have added some to my list of projects to watch out for next year. I am glad that Fabric Token was also listed there despite the project still under the radar. I am excited what they can bring next year.

If I may add, you can also check Rebellious Token. Their own blockchain will be launched this year or early next year.

Plutus - A crypto payments platform that lets you spend in cryptocurrencies at over 40 million stores worldwide, currently have a live beta version of their product out, huge potential. When you go to spend, the card converts only the amount necessary to make a payment into spendable fiat which then goes to the merchant. Unlike competitors, they have done this in a decentralized way.

Thank you for putting your list together, very helpful :D

Rebellious - just next coin and nothing else.  It is not clear why we need all these coins.
I will make a separate list for just coins on the site (http://workingcryptos.com/en/).

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

added several projects in the list on the site (http://workingcryptos.com/en/):
LoyalCoin (https://loyalcoin.io/) from our discussion.
Moeda (https://moedaseeds.com) - From anywhere in the world, secure and transparent investments can be made in ventures and projects selected by our technical network that promote the enhancement and development of local communities.
Nexo (http://nexo.io/) - The World's First Instant Crypto-backed Loans. Your Loan limit is based on the market value of the crypto assets in your Nexo Wallet. No Hidden Fees.
SIRIN LABS (https://sirinlabs.com) - The premier cyber-protected, blockchain-enabled smartphone with built-in cold storage wallet, and unique Safe Screen for secure crypto transactions.

New posts seen. I'll answer later. Thanks friends! for suggestions!

I was about to suggest sirin labs   ;D

There are in fact several projects that are just coins, all preform fast transactions with cheap fees, but I honnestly don't see much use for all these... there are enough of these already present on top of cmc... in my oppinion most of these will die in time...
Maybe later, you could split this into sections split by type of useability

Plutus - is another project that includes a debit card to spend fiat from your crypto wallets. There are a lot of these already at work on the market, in this case the echange is DEX... i'm not sure this is in fact new...
maybe another one for the "fiat-crypto bridge financial section" ?

Maybe like a user suggested, selecting the ones with most relevant potencial for the future would also be a good section

If you need any help or oppinion ...  ;)
cheers

I remember this project. On bountyhive he was. I did not even participate. And that's why - how much electricity does a small city consume?
1 BWT = 1 kWh. How many tokens should there be for everyone to have? It's hard to even imagine.
As a platform for the exchange project will go. But with increasing demand, the price per kilowatt will rise, and who needs it?
Or I do not know or do not understand. But in any case, thanks for offering.

It takes time for a project to grow since most of the ICOs are startup company so don't be expect after the sale period and exchange listing there will be a skyrocket profit. It needs enough time to introduce to the masses for their working product and it is normal that the value of their asset will be a lot lesser than the actual price during the sale period. There are a lot of potentials of a working crypto projects, who knows in the next 3 years or more and that will be the start of their rising value.

There is a project called Arweave, They already launched their blockchain and already started decentralised storage in the Weave (That's what they call their blockchain) but their Ecosystem coin has not even entered any exchange yet, although investors are crying bitterly because mining has started and miners are diluting the coins investors got.

I wanted to add them to the list as something, but I had read very not good words about them, right here on the forum, and changed my mind.
But in general, you are right, if the project is working, you need to add it to the list. Thank you!

Quite an interesting project. I'm studying it for now. Most likely, I will add it. Thanks!

This is why every ICO Developer must really think about the 'utility' of the tokens that they will circulate. Without thinking about that, the token is really useless.

There are also some very nice algorithmic trading projects that i have recently discovered where you have to purchase their tokens then deposit them to the account at their platform their algorithmic bots will trade for you hands free and yield returns, some working platforms include rialto and dropil while foxtrading is another project that will launch soon.
I know dropil and I have some dropil coins for trading on their platform. It is working but while the market is in bad conditions, we can not get profit now. It is only working for increasing our dropil tokens.

It is one of it but on market cap wise the bitcoin is the biggest crypto and holding over 50% of total crypto market value.

Most of the new projects won't get much effective due to the fact that development team don't want to develop their coin once they has desired profits.

Forgot to write that, added 3 more working projects:

Aion (https://aion.network/) - is a multi-tier blockchain that was created to offer scalability, privacy, and interoperability. The project aims to be an integrated blockchain network that allows any public/private blockchain to transact and communicate across the network. It supports custom blockchain architectures, and provides cross-chain interoperability through a series of connecting bridges.

A good list of 130 companies. Tell me how to apply it? It seems to me that this is not enough in the article.

My task is to figure out what works in principle and what is useless. And what to do with the received list is already up to You.
To whom it is enough just to look at the list and understand that everything is not so hopeless.

The question would be: How many (which) ICO-projects do already have a working-product which you can add to the list without getting nightmares? ;)

It's hard to evaluate, I think rating sites do this, like foundico.com.

I know what you term working projects, because there are some projects in the space that claimed to have launch their Mainnet but no one is using them, Stratis and Ardor are two projects I can recall with big marketcap. For me exchanges fulfil these criteria of your because most of them have more than 1 million users and this is a great feat to reach until we start seeing dapps with 1 million users then most of them are just toys and experiment

Yeah, you have a good point there, but your own evaluation just like you have started doing, can be useful.
Although, that does not mean one should totally rely on that. Instead, confirmatory research by every individual that wants to follow or go by your findings, should be done.

In the present case, good projects are the big ones. The prices have fallen a lot, and it is horrible that projects cannot get against. There was a project called pillar, but now I do not know about how they keep going.

It's true. Some projects I weigh in the balance from dropping out of the list.
It would be better if you specifically indicate the projects that you think should be removed from the list.
None of the projects can guarantee a place in the list. If he stops working - he leaves.

Large projects are certainly easier to overcome losses, they have a margin of safety. But many projects continue to work despite everything - crypto-enthusiasts.
Twitter by Pillar (PLR) alive. Constantly update the wallet. Looks good and the project is open - it pleases.
Take note of this project, if they do something other than the wallet - add to the list.

If this is the case, why do people still stay o projects that have no definitely direction and without any update on work progress. We have to be factual with ourselves, if a project does not look like it will succeed, it is better we leave it and move over to another one that is much better. Which i believe you will find.

if you have to wait for the bull to rise maybe all assets have a chance to rise because the bull will make their prices rise. that's not what we are looking for, we have to choose assets that can really benefit us quickly, and maximum results. if necessary, don't have to wait for the bull to come.

I don't think all of the ico that enter the rating on the ico website such as the ico bench or others do not provide certainty that the ico is successful or can benefit, because the nature of the scam will be seen when there is no development from the founder ico.

Yes, information needs to be collected from various sources and verified.
But I know a few projects where everything was great. But at one "wonderful" moment, the CEO of the project took away the money collected on the ICO and was flushed.
So there is always a risk of fraud. Plus other risks, such as hacking.
ICO - is a very risky investment.

The list is so long but I think unhelpful.. I need to ask what are the parameters used to adjudge a project is still being developed? Because some of this project listed above their updates shows no sign of progress in their development and asides from meetups here and there have nothing to show forth.. So I would like to know the parameters by which this projects were chosen.

As far as I know, most of the projects launching their coins are yet to implement their genuine goals. In fact, most of them are racing for looking for ways to attract as many as investors and increase their price on exchanges. As a result, many people are still hesitant to involve in cryptocurrency. Institutional investors are still shying away from investing in it. So it is high time the projects should start implementing their goals.

In general, it is.
+ working projects are not as popular as they thought.
It is not enough to make a product (service), you need to be able to sell it. Top projects understand this, therefore they hire high-level promotion professionals.

Indeed there are a lot of good projects who are not on top 50 on coinmarketcap and can give a good profit over time, but people don't know or some of them not have time to research and most of people invest on bitcoin.

We can't blame them. They just want to make sure that they'll earn in their investment. If you have enough funds, then try investing to those not well known project. We should also give them a chance to grow. They also needs investors so they can prove their worth.

I agree.  There are a large number of really good projects that are not in the top.  But nobody knows about them because people are too lazy to look through all the projects.  They only look at popular or cheap ones.

What about one of the undervalued project Phore? Exact milestones by the roadmap. Staking. Strong and clear team. Many tutorials how-to. Today a low price. I'm interested and glad to learn more and more about the project. One weakness - exchange. The project not listed on the big exchanges

Good project at first glance. Activity is visible.
Tried Phore Marketplace app on Windows 64b - it starts, but there is nothing further, some kind of connection error.
Why don't they just made a website, why do they need an app?
Thank You, I will still study this project.

Today I delete this project (Blockscart (BLXS)) from our list! It stopped operating on 30th April 2019. Be careful!
As promised, I started checking the list. + Added a search from Google (for now, only this way, if you switch to a paid hosting service, it will be normal. Search, but I haven’t decided yet if people really need this site, there’s a response, but for now a little. I think I can arrange a survey.)

Function X (FX) - (https://functionx.io/#/) : In the last month it's launched and it's a huge potential project of Pundi X (NPXS), It's another SWAP coin of NPXS. I hope to see this coin in your list.
Rank: 768 https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/function-x/

In general, yes - this is essentially a division PundiX. Without ICO etc. But I will add it, because trust Pundi and it can be a real product. Thank You very much for info!

What are the criterias how you choose the working project?
On your website: workingcryptos.com you list only few cryptoprojects and it is not good. Because when people find them they will start thinking about selling their low cap coins because probably they are not active?  ::)

As written in the beginning:

...
I admit projects that really work, at least just work - following the roadmap. They may not have a finished working product or the economy can does not work , but the project team conducts systematic work, the project is not abandoned.
...

I just select working projects in the list at its discretion, and I do not call for any actions.
I am open to discussion, and not one of the projects will not linger on the list if it stops working.
To whom it is also interesting as me, that’s what the list is for.
