For inexpensive rooms in Europe while offering reasonable and reliable quality I can recommend the a&o hostel / hotel chain: https://www.aohostels.com/en/

Expedia used to accept Bitcoin in the US for flights, but apparently they removed that option a couple months ago.

As far as flight tickets are concerned, I found AirBaltic, a Latvian carrier, accepting bitcoin payments:

Quote
4. Bitcoin

This payment option is only available for Basic tickets for flights booked at least five days ahead of the scheduled departure.
Source: https://www.airbaltic.com/en/payment-options

I haven't flown with them, so I don't know how it works. I also don't know what Basic tickets means in this respect.

Also check this link:

http://ca.destinia.com/m/bitcoins

Destinia is a Spanish travel agency that accepts Bitcoin. It seems you can book flights and hotels with them. On their website you can even change the default currency from USD or EUR to mBTC (the upper menu).

I can assist with hotel & accommodation. I have heard of Trippki.

https://trippki.com/  "Trippki makes travel more rewarding"

"Trippki is a hotel booking and rewards platform that creates a new, and better, relationship between hotels and their guests".

I don't know whether they do flight bookings too.

There is CheapAir where you can spend your bitcoins to book hotels, for airplane tickets, and cars. Never used it but most people who were used Expedia switched to this website. The website is ugly, to be honest but  it's an old business online now

I'll add abitsky to the list, booked tickets with them just last month at actually better rates than any of the other bitcoin sites I could find, and better than cheapflights and jetradar. Very decent add ons too, though I should say they were better options on exotic routes, poorer prices for major airports. They use mistertango as payment processor too, which is a refreshing change from Bitpay.

LeGaulois made a great suggestion for CheapAir, who actually ditched Bitpay and are using BTCPay. Good offerings and would have bought from them but for huge price difference on my route.

Personally, rather than having to start searching the Internet for those that accepts bitcoin and you have to go a step further to establish their credibility because the moment you send your bitcoin, you are now at their mercy to fulfil their own end of the bargain I would convert into fiat then pay for the service. This would not only expand my choice to pick from reputable organizations but also, I get to save cost which would be as premium that I would have paid using the bitcoin option.

You may check and access the cheapair.com this site is really helpful for using on booking flight tickets and hotels with this site. Moreover they are giving payment acceptance via btc and eth.

Then we need to check the some third party site which have crypto API plugged for payment purposes.

I know Destinia (https://destinia.us/) is a legitimate option based on people talking about the site on Reddit and other forums (one Redditor says that BTC's only available if you order 48 hours in advance). Simply click on the currency symbol at the top of the page (a dollar sign in my case), and you'll be able to see prices in mBTC and mBCH.

In the past, though, I simply converted my BTC to fiat currency for trips and vacations- it's a bit of a hassle at first when it comes to converting currency and all, but it makes things a lot easier in the end when you're booking flights and such.

This would not only expand my choice to pick from reputable organizations but also, I get to save cost which would be as premium that I would have paid using the bitcoin option.

But establishing credibility and reputation is what I'd do with fiat payments anyway. Most of the sites already mentioned already have some years of experience and with that, credibility amd reputation. And as much as the onus is on the merchant to attract Bitcoin-paying customers, it's also down to users to want to use their services.

On expansion of choices, isn't that also what Bitcoin options do? Where I'm located, not all merchants accept Visa, for example some Dutch merchants only accept the local bank cards (like cheaptickets.nl only accept iDeal) whereas others only take Visa/Mc which aren't accessible to everyone. Bitcoin represents the one currency that anyone in the world uses. Talk about widest possible reach there!

And cost? The flight options I took at abitsky were cheaper by almost 10%. I ended up using that savings to book extra options... Insurance, baggage, etc. Good deal if you ask me.

If you want to pay for your travels with bitcoin, you have a number of options to do that. Here are a few of the big ones:

CheapAir
CheapAir.com was the first online travel agency to accept Bitcoin back in 2013. With it, you can purchase flights on most major airlines to virtually any destination. The site currency accepts bitcoin, bitcoin cash, litecoin and dash.

BTCTrip
BTCTrip describes itself as “the travel agency for the cryptocurrency community.” The service allows customers to book flights and hotels using cryptocurrency, and unlike most other sites, accepts dogecoin and litecoin as well as bitcoin for payments.

Virgin Galactic
If you’ve got your eyes set on an intergalactic vacation then bitcoin can help you get there. Virgin Galactic accepts bitcoin as a form of payment on its commercial passenger space flights. The first one of those flights is allegedly supposed to take off by the end of this year, if you have a quarter of a million dollars in cryptocurrency to spare.

eGifter and Gyft
eGifter is technically a gift card site that accepts bitcoin, but you can use the site to buy gift cards for a number of popular airlines that can later be turned into plane tickets. Participating airlines include Delta, American Airlines and Southwest. Gyft works in a similar way and allows you to use bitcoin to purchase gift cards to Hotels.com, which can be used to book a hotel room almost anywhere in the world.

And when it comes to accommodation, Expedia, an American travel company, accepts Bitcoin when paying for hotel rooms. The payments are powered by Coinbase and the process is pretty straight forward. Nevertheless, we’re going to give you a run through.

No link to this yet? - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3078815.0

That'll cover most bases with flights. Hotels and care hire etc are considerably thinner on the ground for BTC. There are some gift card options in that thread but it would still give you far more choice using a Bitcoin debit card.

Similarly those places listed often miss out budget flight options, especially European ones, so best to compare them with conventional flight sites too.
