READ THIS WHOLE POST BEFORE ACTING LEST YOU GET VERY UNDESIRABLE RESULTS. I have a major pet peeve with the merit system. I often see some disgruntled users complaining that deserving posts don't get merits therefore the system is unfair. But when I ask for examples of such posts I usually hear a cricket chorus in a tumbleweed. So I've decided to stop asking for examples because that's pointless. However just in case I'm wrong about that - keep reading. First of all, if you're seeing under-merited posts and you don't have enough sMerits to reward those posts then you should apply to become a merit source (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0). If you've done that and haven't been appointed yet, or if you're already a merit source and you ran out of sMerits, or if there is some other serious reason that prevents those brilliant posts from receiving merits - keep reading. Send me a personal message (PM) with a subject "Post deserves merit" and a link to a post that needs merit and a brief explanation why you think so. If I have spare time and spare merits I may review it and decide to merit it.

You will get labeled with negative trust for that. Not a good strategy and not worth the risk I think. There are other threads that offer merits to posters who request it for themselves. Yes, you're right, I wasn't politically correct :) I think I use "guy" as default, like in "Hi guys" that I normally say to male, female or mixed groups. I really fell for it.. ;D ;D But since I now got stumbled here, your thread suchmoon will definitely be helpful for those who didn't get any merits but derserves to get some.
