The first time I bought an altcoin was on 08/09/2018. That is my first milestone and I am very happy to see the price increase. I bought when the price of EOS fell sharply. It has risen to $ 0.5 per coin and the total return I had for the first time was $ 406. That was my first success.

The first time I got in cryptocurrencies was when I thought that I needed to invest somewhere and gain my position as a great investor and earn profits. I invested in PRG, NEO and ADA.

Your post reminds me of a friend who introduced me to crypto. I bought my first bitcoin back then in 2016 after a financial empowerment seminar. I can still remember I bought 0.03BTC from that guy.

To be honest when i first knew about crypto and btc i was interested to earn them for free so i subscribed to few faucet websites but slowly i explored more options in crypro sphere and left claiming from faucets, i started in 2014 i guess.

It was 2016i first heard about bitcoin, and I bought but I wasted it in some kind of pyramid scheme network. I never knew how valuable it was. Now I know.

The first time I bought a crypto currency at the beginning of this year. This coin was BTC, ETH. I do not regret about my purchase, because I believe that they will soon make a profit for me.

Anyone can write few lines for the sake of fulfilling target to meet the conditions of signature campaign. 
But is there any use of this discussion.  I am here for two years or 5 years what is use of it for somebody. 
Please you should give reason for asking this question and also the use of our replies where you want to use the data.  Only then a constructive discussion will be possible and will be useful for members.

I have bought my first bitcoin in 2012 for $11, but I have paid them for another person as part of the deal. If I could predict at that time what will happen in 5 years I definitely would have bought more that time.

Bought around a little bit ethereum when it was around $8 for each and this time it's worth a lot of money. I have bought a lot of ZIL on ico and have sold them all for 30x return.
But i have missed the best time to buy bitcoin when it was around $100 each. I have imagined to sold my house for bitcoin and this time i can buy around 60 houses with it. It's my worst decision

I remember I bought it around 2014, of course I bought Bitcoin first, not because I bought it to buy another altcoin, I chose it because then I did not understand about cryptocurrency, I wanted to see how it was delivered. And then sell when the price is higher than the price I bought before

I bought a few altcoins at the end of 2017. I was influenced by FOMO. Now the price of these coins is several times smaller. It's good that I followed the important rule: do not buy money on which well-being depends.

My first bitcoin buy was in year 2014 but lately I sold it in the same year with a good profit. Later I got in again during June 2017 and cashed out in January 2018 again had the decent profit and since then I am very active in buying cryptocurrencies.
I am a financial analyst cum advisor by Job and I always look into cryptocurrencies when they are bleeding. Its a good quarter to half year trade for me always. I buy during DIPs and cashout on Green market.  ;D

i bought Maidsafecoin in august 2016. those days it was ranked in top 30.   so i thought its really a good one and bought.now its ranked 58. but after few months i sold it and bought XRP at $0.006 and sold at good profit at $0.2

At first I had bitcoin around 2017, I was introduced by my friend with all altcoins,
especially on bitcoin, I was told around 2013 about the existence of digital currencies,
and only at the end of 2017 I started working with Altcoin.

I can't remember the exact date but it was only two years ago and I had the right time buying Bitcoin at a much lower price, I made a small profit from that purchase and from then on I got involved to a lot of coins not only Bitcoin but other profitable coins like ethereum and ICO coins, there's really a good profit if you buy at the right time.

The first time I bought cryptocurrency was last year. It was in August 2017. And it is none other than Bitcoin.

I bought my first cryptocurrency in Feb 2017 and it was bitcoin. It was a great feeling that involved in something new and I was pretty excited to do so and got a good profit on that after that cryptocurrency became an addiction to me.

I bought my first fraction of bitcoin last year on July. I was an inexperienced trader then so I lost that money. Now, I'm settled in just hodling various altcoins since it is more safe and is less taxing for the mind.

I'm not an early bird. I just started buying small amounts of bitcoin at the beginning of the year. I'm just a small player. I play it cool meaning, I'm just buying little by little as I don't want to take the risk of losing big neither do I aim to be rich fast.Just relaxed playing.

I get to know about cryptocurrency in 2015 and I purchased my first Bitcoin then which I later sold back in few months. I don't know more about the concept of holding then, I just bought it for the fun of it.

I bought the first coin, eth, because it was suggested by my friend, eth had the ability to increase the price, he said. And I immediately bought it, 2 weeks i'm waiting and the price of eth rose dramatically and I sold it. A good advantage for me and my first time buying coins.

It's okay now. I am very sorry that I did not hear my friends and did not buy Bitcoin in 2015 with all the money in my home budget. in 2017, I would become noticeably richer, but it did not come true.

First, I was interested in a free way to earn cryptocurrency. Just like so many of us. Because I didn't have the funds to invest. I buy cryptocurrency was not so long ago. The first coin I bought this year was ether.

When I first got to know Crypto, it was clear that it was only racing in bitcoin, so the first thing I bought at that time was Bitcoin and if that wasn't wrong, the price was still very cheap around $ 3,000 and stupidly I couldn't wait to hold a coin and sell it back after the $ 500 increase at that time.

I joined here in early 2017 and initially I only worked as a bounty hunter and 2 months later I tried trading by buying ETH for 2.20 $

It doesn't become a true thing caused by you have been missed it dude, So many people are hoping they can back to the last year or even a few years ago to take the chance to buy bitcoin when it worth only a few bucks. even if you have bought it when the price was around $100 and then you have become the next millionaire.

I buy electronic money by the end of 2017, when the price of coins is almost at the top of the market, so I am confident that I will win, but over time, the price of coins reduced. and I'm losing a lot.

To be honest, I have been working in the field of cryptocurrency for more than a year and have never bought it for my own money. I mean, I didn't invest anything but time. Earned tokens, sold and received cryptocurrency. On it already and traded, and changed and invested...

At first i was heard Bitcoin in 2014 and got involve in crypto way back 2015, in the field of Cloudmining. I'm earning some BTC back then but Hodling is not in my agenda before. Everytime i recieve my BTC payment i was sell it and convert into my own country currency. But those BTC payment was stop in 2016 because the Cloudmining Platform turned into a scam and gone without a trace it was HashOcean they manage to run $55 Million worth of BTC  if those people don't sell those BTC until Dec. 2017 they are Crypto Billionaires by now! 

I bought first cryptocurrency coin at the end of 2015 year and the coin which I had bought is Bitcoin and Dogecoin. Not self-recognition that be the first investors in this market but just be one of people who know about crypto and blockchain early

2013 December was the time I started participating fully in cryptocurrency investing with ICOs. At that time only bitcoins and few other cryptocoins were available on the coinmarketcap but nothing look promising and everything was done with fear of losing my funds.

I have bought two years ago and I regret not buying and having anything about like four years ago. I was doubtful about it before and I even thought of it as scam. If I have just believed it, I should have been a millionaire right now. What I do now is just I but while the prices are low.

I have been in this crypto world in about a year. At the first time, I just participate in bounty campaign without investing anything then I start investing when I get some result from it. I enjoy doing everything here, and I hope it will be better in the future.

I first invested last year. I studied the market very carefully and chose coins. Now I already know about many people and I do not need to study them. I first invested in ethereum.

August 21, 2017 will always remain fresh in my memory. It actually wasn't the day I made my first crypto buy (I had definitely bought ICOs before then), it was the day I opened an account with Binance. Got myself a few hundreds but regrettably sold off early. I think my first buy was in May or June 2017. I can't be sure anymore because it wasn't a remarkable one.

I learned and began to study cryptocurrencies since December 2016. But my first purchase I made in June 2017 - it was NEM. Great project, I still keep NEM in my portfolio.

I am into the crypto domain for more than 4 years now and honestly speaking I earned a lot through the various signature campaigns and especially through a campaign named bitmixer my first investment was into litecoin last year.

I bought ETH a year ago by selling tokens earned from ICO bounty. Selling Token and buying ETH is the best decision I have made so far, as the ETH is far more potential than ICO tokens. I joined the cryptocurrency market a year ago, and I'm sure many people have bought crypto for a long time.

First time I bought crypto was late September 2017. Wish I had known earlier about crypto. But I enjoyed my Crypto ride although I haven't had that much of holdings but have some good/bad experiences. My first investment was about 35$ from which I had a profit of 5$ & this is how my ride in crypto world started.

Unfortunately I'm not the early bird and I have joined crypto not so far. It was 2017 when my friend showed me how to purchase crypto and what is a point of using it, how to earn it and etc...

I bought my first token in August 2018 and it was deltachain project token called delta coin
I participated in their ico program and bought about 4,000,000 delta tokens

And I was quite fortunate because I made over 150% profit
I bought around 20$ in ico and sold for about 160$

The fact is that many users who started investing in 2017 today are dissatisfied with their decisions. The fact is that 2017 showed the price level much higher than today or in 2016.

The first bitcoin, I bought in 2013 for $ 105. Bought to pay for the services of a fraudulent project. The second time I bought only in 2017, already for $ 9000. A little late, but still something that turned out to earn.

I heard about cryptocurrency for the first time back in 2011. However, I did not understand then what scale it could cover. I bought the first bitcoin in 2016.

I started buying coins even before i came into this forum. Although it was still last year 2017 and i am glad i bought the coins before the bullish market. The mistake i made was that i did not sell at ATH, yet i did not loose.
I know that some people are just getting in. I also brought some into it this year and not too long. Those who are just getting in now are fortunate, because it will be a great gain for them by the time the bull run comes in.

My very first bitcoin was late last year in October when I purchase bitcoin valued at $30 and at that time the price of bitcoin was at a constant rise before the next 10 day my $30 bitcoin grown to $40 and I was super exited and I bought more $100 but I sold everything by December the same year 2017 and at that time bitcoin was sitting at $19500 which I made good profits.

My first purchase was in november 2017. And it was too late, i think. If i bought in september now i would be a millionere

I can barely remember the first time I've bought it was around 2015-2016 so I guess we are on the same timeline when we first bought our crypto's.

There's almost left nothing to me because I've sold most of it not only during all time high's but those times when there are a lot of corrections. I was once a panic seller so I think 5% from the total amount since the first time I've bought bitcoin was left.

Unfortunately, I'm too late. I bought my first crypto money in 2015. However, I was able to get the first 1 Bitcoin in late 2016. It took me a while to trust. And I think I made the mistake of my life in those days.

I don't remember the exact date but I think last 2 years ago when I bought or purchased cryptocurrency and the price on that year is very high and if I know the price increase very high I buy more and for sure im now rich because I earn more money when price increase very high.

My first time of buying a cryptocurrency is 10th December 2017. I wanted to buy bitcoin but the price at that time was very high so i changed my mind and bought an altcoin called Power.

Right now I am still looking for prizes through a signature campaign, not having the capital to buy coins.

The first time that i bought cryptocurrency is the day when i first started using and investing in crypto is last year 2017 of February because i am curious how people earn money and became rich with it. And now i am still buying cryptocurrency to get good rewards.

My first crypto purchase was 2 years ago but I can't remember the exact date and I had the right time to buy crypto at a much lower price, I got a little profit from the purchase and since then I have been involved with lots of coins and it's very easy to make a profit in crypto daily trading or long-term investment but now it is very difficult to make a profit, maybe because of a bearish trend.

Although I knew about cryptocurrencies from a long time it wasn't until when I came to know about bitcointalk and the signature campaigns.
To be honest I earned my first cryptocurrency through signature campaigns and then used it to gradually increase the overall income of crypto.

First time i bought some crypto was back in the 2013,when i bought a little bit of BTC,i think it was 20 USD of Bitcoin,and i bought it via Ebay,back when you still could do that.And then i invested that BTC in bunch of shitcoins like Cage Coin and similar stuff,but it was just for the fun really,i didnt think crypto will reach these heights,unfortunately.

My first buy was last year. After buying that particular coin, I had high hopes that it was going to give me remarkable profit but I didn't know I bought bags of shitcoin  ;D I kept having hopes, added the coin on blockfolio to have a closer watch  ::)

The time I bought cryptocurrency was only this month. When I have the extra money, I bought some to hold on to in case the bull run comes close. I am not that too early at this point but late is better than never right?

I have known bitcoin from 2012 but i dont believe in crypto so i did not invest in bitcoin or any coin. In early 2018, i have invest some altcoins, but now they dont bring big profit to me!

I first bought bitcoin about 2 months ago when I had a low cash price. And I think it was the right thing to do. Of course, if I had bought cryptocurrencies 3 years ago when I found out about them, it would have been ideal, but I believe I bought them on time.

Imagine you would have been swimming in bitcoin by now  >:( only for you to turn away to eat the food you rejected earlier. Off course if you bought altcoin then, maybe you would have bought very good coins like etheruem, monero, zcash, litecoin and you would have seated very fine with cash.

Altcoins bought at that time would have also needed time to grow. So please allow your investment in altcoin some time to grow.

I bought my first BTC through an exchanger in 2016.  I transferred it to my wallet, I wanted to know the speed of the transaction.  I wanted to know how it works.  And find out the size of the commission.

first bought crypto? maybe mid-2017, when ahead of bitcoin will be hardfork. I bought 0.3 btc at that time and was only able to get profit in December. the profit I got reached 500% of my initial investment. a very large amount I have received in less than 1 year.

I bought bitcoin last year on August. Not an early bird but at least jumped in before the rest of the world (before it gets mainstream form mass adoption). I made a nice decision when I sold all my bags then it reached $18k. Now I'm into alts, (XRP and NEO) and currently holding until the next bull run.

I have forgotten the beginning I bought coins in Crypto, which I remember first buying coins in Crypto namely BTC and ETH, because these two coins have experienced a very fast price increase compared to other coins, maybe around the beginning of 2017 I bought them

I bought my first BTC in Summer 2017. It was great times and nobody could expect, that a few months later such a big pump will happen. It means that the story can be repeated this year, because nobody has expected it as well in 2017. We can only hope guys.

I bought my firet crypto whos altcoin to be precise is wayback january of 2017

the first time I bought the cryptocurrency two years ago when the price of bitcoin was not like this. when compared to buying crypto the first time it is now very different, because even though now the price is expensive but there is no growth that makes us able to make a profit.

maybe last year, at that time I got advice from my close friend to buy bitcoin. at that time I didn't immediately believe it, I found out what crypto and blockchain are. when I find out I find something very good and therefore I'm now here. become a crypto trader

The first coins I started to buy at the beginning of last year, and at the end of 2017 I was happy because the price was high , and now I'm just waiting for the time when the market will be as before with great prices.

I personally trading crypto currencies for last few years, at that time I think there was not another person who knew about crypto currencies, but now I can see that the crypto traders are increasing from time to time and they are earning a good amount of money from there.

I only knew bitcoin since last year which became a viral due to the surprising rally that hit the price at $20k per bitcoin. Stellar is the first cryptocurrency I bought and owned, It helped me to know crypto and more. I had heard about bitcoin before but did not really care. Until stellar has made me profitable and everything has started since 2014

I bought some Bitcoin in 2016, but I sold everything during the summer 2017. I thought it was a great profit and I could not imagine that the price of Bitcoin would ever reach 20k USD. Hope for one more bull run this year.

I've bought crypto back in november 2017, it was my first purchase during crypto hype, then a bit later I've created account on bitcointalk and now I am fully integrated to this sphere.

I started with investments in 2015, when there was no such diversity and all the coins were dark horses. Then no one chose and did not think, invested in what they could and waited for happiness. Many did not even understand the whole process.

Never knew much about bitcoin aside being introduced to it as a payment system just like papal, skrill, etc. I had joined one pyramid program and the payment requires that bitcoin should be used and with bitcoin came a lot of such programs which eventually having bitcoin and seeing its varying values made me realize some of its potentials.

I'm new to this virtual currency market, so I'm asking myself the same question. So I've been through a lot of people who are mostly investing in the same type of mineral. I bought Bitcoin in the spring of 2017 by spending $50, then I transferred it to the Poloniex exchange and tried trading. As a result, like all newbies, I lost my first cryptocurrencies but gained experience.

I cannot forget the time that I invested on NEO maybe it was a luck for me cause I bought 1000neo during its early phase and cannot believe to earn big from it. Knowing the project during early stage is a fortunate event for me. Also the pundiX token that I have bought during its realky cheap then suddenly pump hard. These two yields some profit on my portfolio. Now Ive been researching a good one that will served profit again. But with this market Im finding hard to spot a good one. But Ive been watching holochain project as of the moment.

I learned and started buying cryptocurrency for the first time in the middle of last year where I finally got a profit because at the end of the year there was a tremendous increase. after that this year I only bought a few assets and now I'm still waiting for the price increase. I see if I trade crypto now the market is not so good, so I choose to hold the assets that I have.
