Right now the prices of all altcoin in very drastic, especially ETH, whether in 2019 it'll be back, or just keep it stable?
Give me your opinion.

I think there is no upward movement until the end of the year or next year and the market remains like this (stable in the current range). But there is an opportunity if BTC is accepted in the ETF later and there may be growth for the market to recover.

All altcoins have been going down for such a long time, i am sure they would recover at the beginning of next year.

My opinion on this is there's really no sure thing in crypto market.

As you can see the weaklings has been shaken many times and this is what usually happens. I'll take the part of holding for long term and have my vision on where the market will be. Some alts will pump and some will be dead it's for you to think on what are those coins that I mentioned but I think with ETH, it will return.

This is a moment that will be eagerly anticipated by many in the crypto. We wait for a rise in the market occurs. Maybe not so much hope in the year 2018. but hopefully the year 2019 will be much better.

I don't think price will grow fast or back to price at 2017, for now (2018) price will be stable but i believe in early or mid 2019 price will back growing again.

I don't think the price will back especially like the last year.  In my opinion the price will be stable or gradually decreasing due to the more kind of altcoins that keep coming every day.

The market of cryptocurrency is actually developing in periods, so there will not be an eternal fall. This is what gives me hope that after such a long period of decline, growth will finally begin.

When we look the history of the crypto market, we see long term declines or we see ATH in a short term. We are experiencing a decline in recent months and the market will likely rise again next year. Who will know the beginning or end of the year.

Now very attractive in terms of buying prices for almost all the altcoins, you can buy and wait for the market to recover. Maybe not so much hope in 2018. But, I hope, 2019 will be much better.

It is expectation for next year especially for Bitcoin. before halving, there should be massive buy but i think right move will be observe the market to try to understand the outcome of the near market movements

I don't think the price of altcoins will rise like the past year but it needs to be stable
in price and volume then gradually increase in value in early year of 2019. This will bring more confidence to the traders and investors.

No one can tell that, besides we're just one big fools who has been hoping that this coins/tokens will suddenly increase after BER months started.
But look at that, it is almost the end of September but the values of all coins especially BITCOINS and ETHERIUM are still on the dump.

Some might say these are done by the whales, but whose that really? It is quite impossible to happen and their isn't a single possibility that it would be manipulated by someone... The hell did we call this decentralized if someone could manipulate it from the shadows???

I think it is better not to expect much anymore, we've been hurt so badly and these should be the reason for us to go with the flow and just hold on unto what we have now.
These kind of markets are driving us crazy.

are you asking about altcoins or only about 1 specific altcoin?
because one specific altcoin has a different  case compared to the whole market. the whole market never stopped to want to come back now. the price of most big coins on top was getting dumped while the other coins, the smaller ones specifically, were getting pumped and showing all kinds of potential and giving a lot of profit to the wise investors who migrated there instead of hanging around in the sinking ships.
eventually it will be the turn for bigger coins to be pumped too but for now they will continue to sink.

I think that it is impossible to predict that right now. I also think that fluctuation and fall are quiet normal and gives people like us opportunities.

If we are looking from last year, it does show that the alt coin rise also occurred at the start of the year. Given that Bitcoin price also spiked, it brought the prices of the altcoins to their all time high too.

I think to return, but not to the level of 2017 winter. They will be higher than the current ones, but they will not reach the peak that we saw.

it will be stable, this time bitcoin has been holding a lot of market dominance. That means all of altcoins are following the bitcoin. i will not try to expect a lot in the next year. In fact that so many people have created various prediction without doing technical analysis. Altcoin will remain stable until the next big bubble will be coming in the future.

That is because of bitcoin drop, so, therefore also altcoins price swinging in the market price. It is really hard to predict the market price in the crypto world. No one knows the reason for dropping and also no one knows when it is raised again.
One thing that we can help the market though, just keep on holding until our profit was there.

in my view, bitcoin and other coins in 2018 are indeed very drastic, especially the ETH is the most slumped in terms of my views and hopefully in 2019 it will return to its original state and can enliven the stock market again and hopefully the price will increase.

Can't make sure on the condition of cryptocurrency in 2019. The condition would be better if many people put their trust again in cryptocurrency.

Altcoin prices like ETH reached ATH last December, took time. You can see the price ETH in January and compare it to December 2017. And now, ETH has experienced a drastic decline and I think the ETH price needs time to go back up. And I guess 2019 the ETH price will still be under $ 500, we will see that.

well yeah i think that this bear market does'nt have much downside left and the trend is set to reverse however no one can tell when that will happen but in my opinion it's a good time to be accumulating on the dips but no doubt i think bull market will happen in 2019

I think 2019 will be a new beginning for the altcoin. and maybe at the beginning of the year the market will stabilize, and a few months later there will be a price increase for altcoins that have good progress. i think we will continue seeing more dumps specially in the short term and whether 2019 can be the start of the big pump or  not will depend on how much prices are going to get dumped until the end  of the year. if we continue seeing the slow and small dumps then we can easily see this extended till mid 2019 that the altcoins continue getting dumped and whales enjoy their shorts.
but if we see a big dump and fast to the ground then we can expect the pumps to begin sooner.

For Althingi future. This is a rhetorical question, all responding relying solely on intuition without having a single fact of proof of their point of view. Today, there are no prerequisites for the restoration of the market. So, today I think that there will be no growth. Maybe if tomorrow there will be good news I will think differently.

Altcoins will bounce back at no specific time but I believe, 2019 will be great for all good altcoins. ETH will pump again, it will be more stable for now and rise higher in early 2019. Bullish trend will come again better to own more big altcoins now than to miss the chance of having profit in 2019.

Yes the market will be back to its normal trend. I expect for ETH to start pumping right before the end of 2018 and starts a new year with a great price. Altcoins will continue to grow and I know good altcoins will be in the right side. Just continue buying ETH and other altcoins like ADA and XEM and your profit will be higher than what you are expecting. Cryptomarket will pump in 2019 because that is the year of a bull market :)

IMO, I think no need to wait till 2019 cause at the moment, seem like all altcoins are rising back although very slowly. You can take a look at XRP price at the moment, seem like XRP is rising fastest in all altcoins more than 10% in few recent days. I think everything will be better at the end of this month :).

The ups and downs in cryptocurrency are normal because of its volatility.  It's really difficult to predict the prices of altcoins in 2019. As of now,  altcoins are stabilizing towards the end of the year.

Ethereum has been trading below par for most of the year, I don't see this trend changing anytime soon. But I believe sideway trading will continue after there must have been some stability in the price of ether!

In my opinion we will see huge green candles in 2019. i dont know about with quarter. but i feel that will be big... whales need to earn money and they need some pumps and dumps. they are accumulating like crazy now. with these low prices. and they should pump soon .

If you are talking about the majority of altcoins available to the market then No, most of them will disappear most likely because they lack volume because of the past bear market and you can't expect that this coming December would be the same as last year it would be entire different that before maybe I'm wrong for that we won't know until it happens, some of the altcoins are probably worthless in the future.

There is no way to tell. That is how it has always been with the market and that is how it will always be. No one can be able to predict what will happen with the coins, it makes better sense to actually just hold the coins and wait for better prices. Who knows, you might be right and the altcoins might end up going up in the beginning of next year

The altcoins have actually been trying to make a move, but the uncertainty in the market and most especially for bitcoin I believe is what is suppressing them at the moment. As much as we can be optimistic about the next few months or next year, I want to believe only time can really tell how things would end up panning out at the end of the day as there is certainly no guarantee.

I would not be surprised to see some good movement to some extent before the end of the year, and then see the continuation of the bear trend, then consolidation next year. That would be more like history repeating itself.

I've seen 100 predictions about the Altcoins coming back. Every month we waited for hope, but it didn't. I hope not until 2019.

Some amateurs in here really need to understand the difference between a healthy pullback and a dump. Yes after 4-5 days of green there is typically some red, usually a 2-5% correction. That's when things consolidate for the next leg up.

It doesn't mean the market has suddenly turned from bullish to bearish. These are the times when you buy. You don't buy yesterday when it's green, wake up today and panic sell to tether for a loss.

From the way cryptocurrency is this year 2018, I will not categorically say that the prices of altcoins will bounce back. If that will be there should be a cleansing in the crypto world, there are too many scam projects these days, Most of them looks like good projects but the devs after running the ICO they will only list in some dead exchanges and disappear.

I hope that we don't have to wait until 2019 to see altcoin will be back to recover because I think right now, every altcoin is started to increase although it still on the little price. I do believe that the crypto will be growing. Probably, we will not see the hype of 2017 (December) but it will happen. Thus, there is a great reason to invest most of the money we have in alts and BTC.

I don't know what will happen in 2019, but if the market can stay like this, there is a big chance for us to see the market will continue to rise and perhaps, the market will fully recover in 2019. Right now, the market still tries to improve although it is difficult, some of the coin trying to break the higher price so they can continue to reach the higher rate. But this will change if somehow, bitcoin price starts to rally because if this is happening, then the altcoin will be down for a while until bitcoin can stay at one price level. But who knows, bitcoin and altcoin will rise together, so the market doesn't take too long to recover.

The market is stagnating at the moment and still no signs for bullish trend. In 4Q we will have some upward movements but for bull run we need huge capital to enter the market  and many new investors.

I am sure that sooner or later the growth of alternative currencies will begin, but it is very difficult to talk about timing. The market needs a strong catalyst. It may appear at any time. It seems to me that we are already in a bull market.

To recover all market prices will require the process and recognition of many people. Bitcoin has been around for a long time, but in 2017 it shows its true form. And in 2018 experienced many problems from various countries. But my expectation in early 2019 is that the price will increase again until we will be to the moon together. Price action doesn't reflect the overall highly positive vibe I am getting right now. From big players and traditional companies (highly positive about crypto/blockchain) to bullish behavior in the twitter scene, all seem to be fed up with the negative thinking. However, almost no price action, so this tells us that even though people are getting more and more bullish again, they are not healed enough from the massive drops earlier this year. I wonder what is needed to turn the tide. In mid-2019, we will see a tenfold increase in prices, according to world analysts. I also think so.

When ETF gets rejected by SEC and the price of bitcoin and all of crypto will remain stable. I'm thinking about it will be so difficult to get another big bubble again. It's not only just to attract new investors or speculators but remember crypto should create a hype that makes the old investors and speculators will be back again to the market. that's the difficult thing to do.

Currently, the altcoin value is enough to give a little good value, even though it is only limited to coins but still good, many coins are able to compete and have value. this is my prediction to what will happened with ethereum price in 2019:
It will be very good for ethereum to stay above $200 until the end of this year, its mean that ethereum price can refuse another bear which can make it even to $50. the small bull will comes in the middle of November and will last until the end of February 2019, but there are no significant pump, ethereum price will showed between $200 - $500. It will happened if there are no any big positive issues that can pump ethereum price and make it hype like what it did in the end of 2017.

On the past experience I can tell you that altcoins are more profitable only in a bull market. Late 2017 was a good example of it. But as you can see we are in big bearish trend and everything is diffrent.

I think that in 2019 coin prices will rise again and I am sure that will happen, by seeing the history of coin prices last year the price should have risen in January - May, but I cannot be sure it will happen or not, I only predict from what happened in the past year, stay patient and hold the coin you have, if you sell now it is very loss and not profitable for you, better hold it and wait for the right time to sell.

No assurance yet in my opinion so it would be more practical to wait and hold until that day come where the market value will be on continuous increase. I think that there are many good news in Q4 of 2018. For example, the Bakkt will be accepted in 12 december. I think that it's very importnat news. The market will recover in Q1 2019. It's easy to predict that bitcoin will be more that 9000$ at the end of year.

Altcoin goes down and down for months and still,  the outlook is not looking great for altcoin  prices.  There are quality project in Cryptocurrency,  but bearish market is making everything looking like the end. I will like to think new year will bring new enthusiasm and funds to Cryptocurrency market!

Year 2019 is another year of cryptocurrency but it doesn't warrant that altcoins will be back, it's all depends the market situation because bearish market are still striking as of this time, and nobody's can tell when will bullish take over. Let us think positive that this coming year 2019 has a great come back to happen to all cryptocurrency.

Most of the Altcoins and tokens have no use case. Those are from either dead project or over hyped. A coin without its own blockchain and wallet is not a coin to me. And there are a very few coins available with their own wallet with a working chain. Here we are in early of 2019 and already seeing so many tokens being taken down from top exchanges because of dead working products and lack of attraction.

It has to be stable and grow, the demand for ETH has begun to fall, which already raises concerns about its relevance in the market.
