Bitcoin is gone to be discovered almost 10 years ago, but not all countries of the world have accepted Bitcoin yet. Some countries have declared illegal use of Bitcoin. Because I think they do not know the exact benefits and uses of Bitcoin.

Other companies such as marketing their products to increase sales and usage. Just like Bitcoin Marketing is required to inform Bitcoin about the scope and practical aspects of the world.
Bitcoin marketing is a great way to showcase the benefits and functions of Bitcoin to the public.

If Bitcoin Marketing is done then the use of Bitcoin will be very fast in the world and Bitcoin Industries will be expanding. Negative people of the world will know the exact information of Bitcoin and they will be interested in investing in bitcoin. And hopefully it will be possible to bring Bitcoin around the world.

Most of it fear from AML. Bitcoin and all other crypto money getting easier money laundering problem. But ban is not solve the problem. It is getting worst. I think countries has to legalize and make some regulations.

More likely, it's precisely because they do understand the benefits that they declare it illegal.  Control over the money is control over the populace.  Anywhere that has declared Bitcoin illegal clearly has no interest in freedom for its people.  More marketing won't change that, sadly.

The financial institutions will do everything in their power to prevent people from buying BTC. They make money by debt interest, transaction fees etc. They keep the population in check using a debt based financial system. Think about it, you go through school, go to college, then spend the rest of your life working and paying off debt. If you're lucky, you invent something that will change the world, and can retire at the age of 20 something. Then you are free, free to do what you want, free to travel the world, you're not shackled by a broken financial system that turns us into zombies. The banking overlords hate BTC, so they are doing everything in their power to lock it all up. You cannot kill an idea, you cannot kill something that is decentralized.

Some of governments know the benefits. But they believe that most of these benefits belong to people. They themselves are not benefitted.


Companies only want to give money for the services they provide. I don't think the method of paying matters.

Bitcoin has not an owner. So there is no one to pay for marketing. We should use social medias to make more people know bitcoin and its benefits.

Yep there is no real marketing for Bitcoin, corporations and companies have a team exclusively dedicated to marketing their product so everybody hears its good parts and uses it. Bitcoin doesn't have any of this, leaving the media free to say whatever they want, which happens to be whatever is the most attention grabbing (usually bad news!).

There is no organized marketing effort ongoing for bitcoin because there is no central authority that controls the bitcoin. No particular party is going to get extra benefits if the circulation of bitcoin increases or if the price increases. Whatever the benefit it can bring, all users will enjoy that regardless of the authority they hold. That is how a decentralized currency system is supposed to be!!

So if future as well, we won't be seeing any marketing activity for it. Now lets look at the possible options to increase the visibility of bitcoin,

1. Mouth publicity or whispering campaign : Honest feedbacks from a real bitcoin user. Whispering campaign is arguably the most effective marketing methods available in the marketing dictionary.

2. Marketing material from a crypto related business: there are several hundred crypto related business websites available in today's world. However these websites lacks education material. Having a page that explains the bitcoin and the related technology details will help nubes to understand the basics of bitcoin and crypto in general.

3. Use of bitcoin logo in offline business: this is another very effective method of making people intruiged about bitcoin. Having a logo or a poster just beside the payment desk of a store will help people to feel curious about this new technology or payment system.

However, the third method is not possible for majority of the countries where bitcoin is not a legal tender. But for countries like Japan, Germany and Malta, this method can increase the penetration of crypto.

Efficient marketing strategies must be pioneered by companies or communities behind technology can help educate and convince new users, word of mouth marketing can distinguish between artificial sensations and actual technology, the most effective marketing is direct experience of satisfied customers. the only marketing strategy that works at this stage is word of mouth marketing because digital currency is not easy to use but it comes with challenges.

This is a good idea for bitcoin marketing. We want bitcoin globalization for increase bitcoin revolution. But is it possible? Who will bitcoin marketing, because nobody does control bitcoin. I think that the best layout will be the adoption by regulators of positive decisions regarding bitcoin. If the authorities of the leading countries are not against bitcoin, then this will inspire confidence among the citizens of these countries.

for me that the best layout would be to deal with those of positive decisions about bitcoin. If the pressure of authority leading the country, not against bitcoin, it brings inspiration as the free fall of citizens in these countries.

Bitcoin has been working for several years now, which has been still spreading round the world, Because we are now the Era of technology and virtual asset for a security purpose,  and also a less stress, Therefore bitcoin marketing need more increase in users in the ecosystem.

A good marketing strategy is very important because it can create public awareness and can makes peoples come to the project.

bitcoin is not ready for the big mass adoption of users.

this is because bitcoin needs to be ready with mass adoption of merchants

at the moment the big businesses at the edges of the bitcoin ecosystem are not promoting to merchants because they want thir bitcoin varient of ripple set. (im talking about the separate network of hubs and co managed accounts called LN)

where the services like bitpay and coinbase will be hubs to get fee's for offering routed paymnt services.
once the portfolio of bitcoin services have their separate network that is bitcoin and litecoin compatible and they start their ripple style network of trust using factories and multisig hubbed channels.

and then. at that point will they start getting merchants to join their hubs and accept payments via the LN network and start the promotion rally with merchants and then the users after that

thus coaxing people to buy bitcoin and deposit it into addresses co managed by the services to then make payments to mrechants on LN.

remember LN is not bitcoin
LN is a separate network that is bitcoin and litecoin compatible and is not a blockchain payment system

the portfolio of services are just waiting out for lightning to be coded better, battle tested and ready for services to hub up the network to grab fe's per transaction while locking funds up that eventually they end up keeping by trying to keep users from wanting to withdraw coins out of LN by making things like bitcoin unpractical to user as a 'better' payment system

to them they can make more that way than to waste money now promoting bitcoin itself as the payment system.. so thats what they are doing

Bitcoin is spreading by word of mouth day by day. IT's a very effective way.Because,  muss marketing not good for a long-term goal. We want consistent growth not sudden pump & dump that actually happen last year.

Marketing is very important for today's conditions. But Bitcoin, I think, needs more legal regulation than marketing.

In order to market Bitcoin I think it needs to be owned by a corporation as they will be the ones handling the promotions and overall marketing if there is no company owning BTC then I don't think there is any sense to what you are talking about. BTC is considered a currency it is not like Paypal or Western Union where they can market their products. If you want BTC to push through in a global scale we must need to ask our government's support in order to make it happen by way of legislation, other than that the most important thing is us being the demand itself.

I think bitcoin is very different like MLM programs or other investments, this is not necessary in personal marketing techniques, but through direct and open social media is better, Sharing via facebook and twitter is proven to be more effective

Bitcoin had appeared countless of times on numerous occassions concerning prices, legalities and other aspects of the mainstream news, but that publicity didn't do much for the said cryptocurrency. It faced several criticisms (bitcoin) on different governments and people still didn't care. Perhaps there really isn't any incentive for them to use it and no reason for them to do so. Only a few places to use and not much in store for users? No interest generated no matter how much publicity bitcoin produces.

Global Bitcoin marketing has been a controversial subject for a while, because nobody wants to foot the bill for that. Indeed, this is what happens because we know the legality of crypto currencies all over the world has not been fully done and it all makes crypto currencies do not look so real but I am sure that if the legality problem is recognized, the whole world will certainly be able to get functions like real currencies.

I personally think that a huge number of people are using bitcoin to launder black money, so, KYC and AML is a big issue. Also, you are right about their ignorance about the whole crypto thing.

The best marketing you could possibly provide is actually using Bitcoin and asking merchants to accept it. We've reached a point where traditional marketing can't really affect adoption much because everyone has already been introduced to it one way or another. What most of them don't know is that it's more than just an "investment"; that's the area where we need to fill them in.

As an added point, I feel that billboards, commercials, etc. can very easily backfire because it would feed into the ponzi mentality. People who spend money on this stuff are inevitably going to have their motives questioned, and the line between marketing for adoption and for driving prices up could blur for the general public.

Yes better marketing is needed to help btc to be accepted everywhere. It has bad image for most of common people due to usage for bad things as it is mainly use for good things ! It is not so easy to do because BTC is global so a specific team could not be hire by btc boss but step by step it could be done by every user speaking on twitter, Facebook, work...
