Title: A global currency may be powered by the blockchain
Post by: Abiky on September 28, 2018, 07:01:33 PM
Have you ever heard about the "One World Currency" that will be used in the New World Order? Well, it's believed that such currency may be powered by a blockchain which is in the hands of Banks and Governments worldwide. As this technology has been proven to provide borderless payments in a fast and cheap way, it's the perfect way to upgrade the existing monetary system into one that's highly efficient, transparent, and controllable by the world's authorities. In addition, blockchain not only works for tracking money, but also property, supply chains, and more.

As such, there could exist a global currency in the future which makes use of Bitcoin's blockchain technology. After all, the latest buzz has been all about blockchain, and banks, as well as governments, have become interested in it. Before we know it, everything will be digitalized as our personal, financial, and medical information will be stored in a microchip and verified by one global blockchain network.

What are your thoughts? ::)

Most governments use the local currency as a tool. Inflation helps them a lot. Issuing "paper" also helps them a lot.
If two or more different countries want to use the same currency they need a lot of regulations and even then big problems can occur (see EURO and Greece).
So no, I don't expect to see too soon such a coin.

Commercial Banks, on the other hand, could use some sort of digital gold - a cryptocurrency they manage / own and can transfer value between themselves very easy. This could be something we may see in a near future. Such approach makes more sense.

It's more or less already happening. Ripple has various products that they managed to install in various banks across the globe, which should make transfer of value much easier and faster, so that's technically the first step.

I'm however not sure how long banks will be using Ripple's services, but it's definitely a start of something that might stimulate them to create their own system that works better and doesn't require them to pay an external party such as Ripple.

Banks are thriving on controlling every aspect of their operations, so it only makes sense to drop Ripple's services at a later stage.

It is not much of a challenge or big deal really if someone mega government structure decide to launch a global currency based on the blockchain, I see the European Union doing this in a few years time. It will basically be the digital versions of the fiats they issue, only powered this type by the blockchain.I do not like the idea of a government creating a crypto because it will ultimately be a centralized coin. That goes against the very thing I like about cryptocurrencies

Bitcoin is already THE global currency.

If we purely focus on fiat, then I am happy there is a wide level of variety in fiat currencies that we can choose from. It's horrible if the world wold uses one single blockchain powered fiat currency with how flawed and rotten to the core governments are. If one major governments fucks up, it will take down that currency with it, so it's not viable and we shouldn't want this to happen.

Power to the people with how much freedom we have to switch from fiat currency to fiat currency based on what we believe is the safest possible hedge to preserve our networth as much as possible. The more currencies people can choose from, the more financial freedom and power they will obtain, so I'm all in for a world with plenty of options, because everything is better than being forced to use one just one currency.

In the end, fiat currencies will be tokenized and that's really the most we can expect from this revolution, and we should be happy with that. :)

Too much tinfoil about NWO, but yes, we are currently heading towards a blockchain-powered world seeing how eager governments and companies are to integrate/incorporate the blockchain tech on their systems and operations. With this, many things would be kept on a ledger which allows for faster data processing and efficient data storage. Currencies will be smooth as hell and services would not take long to pull up information a user needs. We might not see a one-world government but we are already seeing the blockchain revolution materialize.

Ethereum is the name of the blockchain company that has created digital ether tokens. But this crypto currency is often called Ether. Supported by blockchain like Bitcoin, the technology is slightly different and is intended for special use cases: smart contracts. For example a financial trade agreement.

I think that is very good news for the future of bitcoin, indeed integration of global payments is needed for efficiency in the economy of all countries, if payments between countries are more efficient, then economic transactions will increase and the economy of each country in the world will grow rapidly

I think it is very difficult to implement One World Currency, because there are some countries that are still firm in their stand to use their domestic currency, the country is afraid that using One World Currency will make the country's economy depend on other countries

My thoughts on this are clear, it wont be happening, no government will be on the same page anytime in the future. Come on lets face it this world is run by rich and politics and common people can just dream about new ideas and nothing else. To take effect the government needs to approve many protocols that will come in line with the other 213 countries and then we can say we have one currency in the world.
I could have said that we should not be mixing the politics and financial system but it is what it is mate! Also lets not over hype the use of blockchain which is smart yet not usable over the global level due to miscellaneous reasons around us.

Bitcoin could be the global currency right now, but it hasn't been adopted by governments worldwide due to its decentralized nature. No one can control it, neither restrict access to it, which makes it terrible for a one world currency used in the New World Order. Of course, cryptocurrencies will become popular over time, but they won't be able to replace fiat because they're not backed by a trusted entity like a government.

When a centralized global currency comes into effect, every nation would be using it to conduct transactions all around the world, recorded on the blockchain. This blockchain, would probably be a private one (permissioned) controlled by all the governments in the world. Every asset from food supplies, to personal information and financial information would be tracked by them, greatly defeating the purpose of privacy for human beings. It sounds horrifying, but I'm afraid that it'll become a reality in the future, as every government will enforce extreme surveillance over every individual around the world.

With the power of blockchain technology (for tracking assets and proving their authenticity) and AI (for decision making), you could expect for this to happen and more.

Exactly. That's what I believe that will happen within a few years from now. Everything would be tracked and verified by the blockchain, as it’s the immutable source of truth. Fiat currencies would be migrated to this technology, and a cashless society would come into effect. Then, proof of ownership, legal contracts, certificates of birth, and more would be registered on the blockchain. With all this, there's nothing stopping governments around the world, into migrating their outdated economic and political system into the modern world via the use of blockchain technology.

However, I still believe that there could exist a possibility of governments joining themselves together, to form a global currency which is under their control. Then, every people would transact using an implant under their skin to buy or sell anything. Since the one-world-currency would operate on a global blockchain network, any transaction could be tracked by any government around the world, effectively reducing criminal activity at a large scale.

I have the same view as you towards the government maximizing the use of blockchain technology once a global currency is implemented. Not only because the governement wants to track and control us financially, but basically in everything we do. This has been also the reason why Bitcoin was created, to acquire such financial freedom. But, gradually everything in cryptospace has becoming less decentralized and sooner or later, it will either cryptocurrency could be phased out or it could be fully regulated and controlled by the government.

By this means every person who got that microchip don't have a escape to the hands of the government tracking financial stability, asset and other source of income into one blockchain this is a good idea for the person who don't use his/her wealth wrongly, and on the other hand bad news for the outside world who don't use bitcoin rightful.

I live in an "independent" country of Eastern Europe, which fulfills almost all the requirements of the European Union and the USA. There are hundreds of such countries that are ruled by puppet governments. I am sure that in 3-4 years the single world electronic currency will be massively used and put into practice.

We will need big infrastructure for this one. When we say that we are already running over the public ledger and thus we dont need anything else to run the blockchain then we should note that its not the way it works. If you want to run the internet then you have to be connected to local host, then local host has to be connected to pre-host, post-host and to the main host. Things are like that only for the blockchain if we have to use it in the real world. It will need big network to work out under stressful conditions of networks and as you can see we are already getting network congestions all the time then, at the time of full capacity it will crash very much often.
Its not like just announce the bitcoin as world's one currency and start using it, but its far more complex than that.

We are waiting for the NEW WORLD ORDER for decades and it isn't happening. ;D
The "new" global currency(actually it isn't new at all) will be the digital US dollar.I don't think that it has to be powered on a blockchain, but I'm sure that this will be the one and only currency.
Bitcoin can survive for a decade or two,but without government support,it's doomed to fail in the long run.

I think blockchain has a lot of use for the real world and outside the digital world. However a "global currency" will never happen, I mean not because anything related to blockchain since blockchain has all the things needed for something to be relied on to create a global currency however I think people do not like the idea of "global currency".

Even the us dollar has been losing value against many currencies and it has been used less and less because it has been manipulated to hell. People stopped caring about dollars and euroes which are the most important currencies out there. We can't have something newer without them getting stronger.

Even though such a concept might sound wonderful on paper, when it comes to reality, there is not even the smallest possibility of anything like this taking place. Every government has vested interest in the system in which they operate. We can find the possibilities of issues in the ongoing Brexit event.

* ‘FUNDAMENTALLY FLAWED!’ Economist RIPS INTO euro and warns Brussels of HUGE challenge (https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1014517/Brexit-news-EU-UK-euro-eurozone-news-European-Union-Theresa-May).

Decentralization is a great thing but giving control to some people/organisation doesn't make any sense as it is violating the fundamental principle of distributed power and control.

Long term plans can be a discreet development for every currency, and with this plan for blockchain to power a global currency I think it would bring the future of money to success. Not just of crypto currency but fiat systems might improve it's transaction delays which could be eliminated through blockchain technologies.

Bitcoin and crypto currency in general is already a global currency no doubt but not yet adopted by the government different countries all over the world yet. And I don't believe that will happen in the nearest future because the issues of regulation by the government of different countries will be difficult for them to come a point of conclusion at the end.

Everything is tending towards that and through blockchain technology a universal currency will be birth!  That means the whole world will have a uniform financial system and the internet will determine who controls it.  Remember that there are words that have been spoken in Bible concerning this and those words might come to fulfillment this time.

We have found a global currency that can be used by everyone to easily send money even though be used by someone who has a different country, or as a transaction tool without intermediaries. Bitcoin and other virtual currencies supported by blockchain can be entrusted as a transaction system in the future.

For the answers that you have asked, it has been answered that we have found a global currency, but in order to use cryptocurrency cannot be used extensively by everyone. The government still confine bitcoin and altcoin to revolve in their country. This will be difficult to defeat by cryptocurrency, they cannot replace money fiat to be used in their lives. I think, cryptocurrency is enough to be an alternative money that will be used by everyone, or can be said to be a complement to money fiat.

One World Government may be impossible but One world currency may be happening already.
Bitcoin is that currency.

I am still in doubt about that new world order. It would be the start of world war once again if forced.
People are not ready for that even if it takes a century.
We may not see it happen or will never happen in this world. It needs a deep change.

Just look at the UN now. Full of authorized member of each country and yet they all just lie about what they say.
To make their country look better than the other.

I share your thoughts. I rather see the government continue to maintain a safe distance between itself and crypto currencies in general. The further they dig into crypto, the more they eventually will break. Everything they touch is doomed.

Fiat in its current form isn't all that bad. I use both fiat and Bitcoin to conduct transactions, and it works incredibly well. Why do we need to use Bitcoin for everything? Bitcoin won't ever be able to match fiat money completely.

The more money options we have, the more we'll be able to avoid being bullied by whatever form of censorship. I see how people here hope that fiat will implode, but they don't know that they will implode as well when that happens.

Bitcoin and other Crypto currency is growing rapidly and it is becoming well recognized around the world, even now some countries has used this for means of payments such purchasing and other transactions. It is a proof that Blockchain technology used by Bitcoin and Crypto currency well accepted as the system and potential offers by it.
However, it is quite difficult when two countries or more want to use same currency because they should be create rules to regulate the utility of that currency. It is obviously not easy to happen.

are you watching too much sci-fi or fiction movies lately, lol, every crypto runs in blockchain, if it really gonna happen, internet use and a centralized exchanges should be established first, since crypto is internet-based and obviously, not everyone has an access on the digital world, for one currency are to be able to penetrate globally, it should be widely accepted and utilized first.

I think that will not happen. Because one world uses the same currency, it shows that countries in the world have equal economies. That will not make the developed countries like the US and China accept, unfair for them.

I agree if the currency is powered by blockchain. it can reduce corruption and money laundering. because those who do it cannot hide their transaction history because all their transactions are recorded in the blockchain ledger. in this way, people will be afraid to commit corruption or money laundering.

I've heard of this conspiracy and its accompanied with one world religion and one world leader.

I even thought that bitcoin is already the currency that conspiracy tackles. If a government controlled cryptocurrency will come out it needs to be supported by the biggest countries so it can be verified that its the one world currency that we're saying but if none exists, then probably bitcoin is that thing but its decentralized.

You are talking about a so-called "GovCoin" that are controlled by governments and not a open public Blockchain like Bitcoin. I personally think the world are just too divided to have one single global "Blockchain" power Crypto currency. Can you imagine North Korea agreeing to use only one currency and this being controlled by the USA?

This is why Bitcoin is so successful, because it is not controlled by any government or centralized authority.  ;)

A really big infrastructure and where will the center of it all actually come from, unless of course we will just end up seeing the governments all over the world coming with a decentralized currency which we all know it is something that would be very hard or impossible to even see.

Knowing that a lot of countries are independent, they have the right to choose what is best for them, and you cannot just impose a single currency on the global world even though it is on the blockchain, the chances of seeing something like this happen may be hard if at the end of it, it is centralized. Something like bitcoin would have been able to fill that gap since it is decentralized but we all know how governments and banks frowns at decentralization.

What are your thoughts? ::)

the technology is proven alerady by other crypto. talking about block chain in hand of banks and government is not a good idea to start with.

That for me is scary. Imagine people all over the world competing and moving with one financial market. One dump will affect billions of people and vice versa for a pump.

I mean things in regards money, the movement, will affect each of us heavily. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

It is hardly to be happening, different races all around the globe and have different ways on how the things are. Like for somehow good practice in a certain country is bad at others. Now we know that we have been a lot of wars since from the beginning of time and I don't think the human race would unite unless there is a greater threat like an invasion from the outer space. Humans will take a hard time on understanding each other and a coin for all is impossible at the moment.

it’s very close to talk about the bitcoin rate after halving in 2020 ... As you know, the cue ball cost $ 200 in 2015, and now $ 6,500. Indeed, 3 years have passed and it has grown only 33 times)))))))))) / and you build a theory here that there will be the same price in 2020)) when in 2020 you will buy pieces of 0.001 bts at the rate of $ 100,000 for 1 bts, then let's talk about your sayings and predictions ...

About banks and government i have a doubt since crypto currencies are volatile they'll not accept it. It might be global currency but only for internet users.
This is actually about seeing the banks and government creating one single currency to be used worldwide. Now, the question actually is that which bank will come up with this, and how are they going to be able to put up a framework or infrastructure to be able to let the whole world come to terms with the idea of using a single currency.

Apparently, this would just be a single centralized currency that would be controlled by maybe one world power by then, and in the case where the whole world is not under the same government, we have more independent countries these days that can as well just come up with their own currency on the blockchain, I see it hard to get something like this possible in the long run.

The inconsistencies in your writeup is very obvious... I do not think Central Power and Transparency are compatible. Power in the Center normally weakens Transparency.
This is not the way Blockchain works by the way. Government authorities controling a Blockchain will render it useless.

That would only happen if there are no borders, countries and nation. If the world has only one government then it could happen but let's not kid ourselves we all know that no sane government or country would angry to be controlled by one nation that's why wars always break out. Even now many countries are fighting through economic war trying to be the best currency of the stock market.

Speaking of banks and governments creating a single currency to be used worldwide, I believe that Ripple/XRP fits the bill quite nicely. It's centralized, regulatory-compliant, and a few banks have established partnerships with it. If successful, then banks worldwide could come up to an agreement (along with the Ripple company and governments worldwide) to launch a single currency living on the XPR blockchain which will be used by every nation on the world. As far as I can tell, it's possible to launch a digital asset or token on the XRP blockchain nowadays (read the documentation), making it a possibility for banks and governments to achieve said purpose.

Since everything is heading into the digital world, I believe that a One World Currency operating on blockchain tech is bound to happen within a few years from now. After all, blockchain enables transparency, trust, reliability, lower costs and higher security, which serves well the likes of banks and governments worldwide. They have realized this and have started to explore the tech more deeply. As such, it wouldn't be surprising when we see the world's major fiat currencies being transitioned into the blockchain within the future. Some countries have already launched their digital currencies operating on blockchain tech (like Venezuela's Petro currency) which means that there's huge interest from governments into acquiring and using this tech for their own benefit.

Now, all it's needed is for the Internet to gain widespread usage in every region of the world, and the creation of a One World Currency might become a reality. Just my thoughts ;D

Some people are just agents of foolishness why can’t you talk about things that are helpful than talk about things that will never happen till you die? Even if there is going to be such like you said, do you think that blockchain is going to be what they use? What makes Blockchain much better than fiat? Fiat is better cause it has a physical form and can also be used digitally like we do with cryptocurrencies. Apart from that, Bitcoin and the Blockchain are prone to cyber attacks. Uhhm… what do I know? Nothing.

This will be great since transactions will be better but I don't think I would be able to accept this to be applied. It is great since we will know that the government are not always focusing on the main problems of the country but also making their ways to improve or develop other things but as I said, I don't think I would be able to accept it.

Fiat may not be favorable to other people at some point but if you will be thinking of it, you can transact fiat more secretly than cryptocurrencies. The Blockchain would be able to track your transactions and government would be able to snoop on your transactions and I don't like that. I'd rather use Fiat in that case rather than use cryptos even if it is a development.

That sounds interesting and might create a way for cryptocurrency to be regulated. That "One world currency" that will be powered by blockchain will be considered as cryptocurrency right? If that happens, they will surely make proper regulation for cryptocurrency and bitcoin will become the first fiat cryptocurrency. That will not be impossible once that "One world currency" becomes a real deal for the government and the banks. The next thing to happen will be more exciting.

It is really difficult to unite ans provide a global currency since we do havw different government system. It impossible on many country such as the third ones because of low back up funds, aside there will be economy imbalance if a global currency would be implemented. Blockchain technology is a great system for financing however we will be needing a great, fast and wide network for the world.

There was and probably is one global currency and it's Gold, in history silver and gold were used worldwide and also all currencies are backed by gold as for now. There is no need of another currency which will be called global currency. Every current currency is exchangeable so they are global for me but on another hand  many countries' economics depends on usd and there are many countries which doesn't need their own currency because they are economically very weak and big importers, so usd has great chance here. On another hand can't think why we need blockchain technology here.

Blockchain is something unbelievable. Its features, benefits and advantages are hard to understand. When blockchain applies in the world there would be no need for banks and any other financial institutions. Blockchain will do everything and humans will feel ease in their lives. There is no doubt that blockchain technology is taking every sector by storm and it is just about time before we started seeing it spread widely in usage and implementation. However, when it comes to having a global currency powered by blockchain which in this case we are talking about something created by the government, which obviously would be centralized, I really do not see how that would be plausible.

If we have to even consider a global currency powered by blockchain, I think bitcoin has already taken that spot as far as I am concerned, and every government worldwide, would practically just come up with the idea of integrating the blockchain technology into their system which would still be centralized and regulated as usual.

It could. And bitcoin is already doing it, as it exists without any borders or sovereign 'issuer'.

But I think what you're trying to explore here is something like a centrally issued, one world currency, like the Phoenix which is mentioned by the economist article many many years ago. In that case, yes, it could happen with blockchain as well, but it wouldn't really pose any benefits in my opinion.

If a crypto is not decentralised then there is really no point in using it instead of any other form of electronic banking with fiat. There could be benefits for the authority in terms of ease of management and control over the entire currency supply, as well as tracking, but these benefits are limited to them. I'd much rather use bitcoin and other decentralised cryptocurrencies which are already quite globally accepted.

That's certainly true, mate. However, I believe that as time goes by, the Internet would be accessible to any country in the world. This would probably become achieved by using satellites which distribute the internet to diverse areas worldwide. Once this is achieved, then all countries could get access to blockchain technology, enabling a cashless society in the future. At some point, they would come to an agreement, as they devise laws for the benefit of all.

When all the world's governments become united into a single global government, then you could expect a "One World Currency" to become a reality soon. One thing for sure, is that Blockchain technology has been overhyped. As such, it wouldn't be surprising if this "One World Currency" would be launched in a Blockchain (either Public/Permission-less or Private/Permissioned). Therefore, the tech provides many benefits that are too hard to ignore for world governments such as transparency, immutability, security, lower costs, faster speeds, and more. Just my thoughts ;D

This is something like Ripple as it is a centralized digital money based on blockchain technology. I don't think if cryptocurrency enthusiasts, traders and investors will be adopting such one world currency because all we want here is decentralization since we are talking about our privacy with our assets. I think one world currency is only good to be used for daily basis and not as an investment purposes.

in my opinion that could happen. currently the global currency has been used by various countries namely the United States dollar. if the dollar or other global currency wants to be supported by blockchain technology then the currency must be converted into digital currencies like crypto currencies in general. because blockchain technology is a technology that is not centralized on one server or the transaction does not involve third parties. so the transaction is controlled by the user of the currency.

I really believe that the world can't deal with a global currency all together. There are politics all around the world that changes everyday and the relations with each country changes in between them, one day two countries are allies and another day they are putting economic pressure on each other, unfortunately the "wars" of these days are not done by weapons but it is done via economic regulations, now it is great that people are not dying anymore because of the wars that is an improvement however there are a lot of poor people because the greedy wants more money for themselves and punish the poor for not doing what they ordered them to do.

This causes whole nations to crumble because of one bad move by politicians of that country. Global currency would mean countries that want to punish other countries would have to end up using the same currency and that wouldn't work that well. Look at what happened with euro, germany is doing great but greece is not doing so well (historically never did) and while germans are increasing the value of euro the greeks are dropping the value and that hurts the german public for no reason at all, why would anyone want to get that to whole globe when europes doesn't work properly.

One world currency can be hard to imagine because people are different and always wanted to be on top. Competition is definitely the hindrance that prevent with this kind of idea.

What are your thoughts? ::)
Why are you bringing this topic, are you member of the illuminati or what?  There are better topics to discuss to discuss than this and this sounds stupid to me. Nobody is talking about one world currency this time and even from the way things are going the world, you don’t need anyone to tell you that the world is not ready for that rubbish.

Even if it’s going to happen, it will take a lot of centuries and you will be gone by then. Having one world currency doesn’t make you rich and you will still remain poor, neither does Bitcoin make you rich.

You do have a point there, mate. However, I believe that at some point in the future, governments worldwide would come up to an agreement as they work together to solve the world's problems. When universal laws are devised, then everything would behave like a single country no matter the region or area you're located at. This would take some time, as the world is slowly shifting to the digital sector. When globalization takes effect, and technology advances to a certain degree, then expect for a "One World Currency" to become a reality in the future.

Right now, Blockchain technology is still in its infancy. At the same time, Internet access is not available to every region of the world. As such, I believe that some time is needed for a complete transition to everything digital. Then, all your personal, financial, and medical information would be stored in a global blockchain which proves their authenticity. The same way, food supplies would be tracked via the use of blockchain technology for complete transparency. And last by not least, a world currency would make use of this technology to give governments the control they need among their citizens. Here, they would be able to track every transaction made on the global ledger and restrict or censor access to someone's money in case they see anything suspicious.

The New World Order would effectively be achieved this way, as everything would be trackable via Blockchain technology. There will be no privacy, as surveillance would become massive by then, and AI takes controls of decisions without the need for human intervention. Therefore, Blockchain technology would be ideal for not just a "One World Currency" to take effect, but also for nearly everything we've been accustomed to in our lives such as our personal, financial, and medical information. Just my opinion :)

I 'm not sure that there will exist a global currency in the world , but I think blockchain will play an important role in our life in the future. Nowadays , blockchain is enormously applied in finance ,however, to make every country have the same curerncy such as bitcoin is really a hard task. Because we need to make may effort to regulate both inside and outside to make it come true

Blockchain is increasing now days and people are taking to much interest to open an account there. Mostly people are now depended and believe on blockchain more than there banks.

In my opinion about in bitcoin it is already a global currency, due to in some other country it has been regulated
as their secondary mode of payment. I know many of us here knows that Japan doing this things for almost a months after their declaration on bitcoin legalization. Not only that even in the Asian country also. then, whether bitcoin or crypto they are both powered by the blockchain because without it they are also both nothing or useless too.

Don't you think the one world currency is already formed and existing? Don't you think bitcoin could be the one world currency we are hoping and expecting? the misery behind the bitcoin makes me think bitcoin might the one crypto currency the whole world would later adopt in the future. just my opinion.

Bitcoin is the global and world wide currency and every one use it more than there fiat currency where block chain used to store it .it maybe possible that Blockchain would be the future of banks.

Bitcoin may have become a popular cryptocurrency worldwide. However, it cannot be considered as a global currency since there are specific areas of the world where the Internet is inaccessible. In addition, Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency which doesn't fit the likes of banks and governments worldwide, because they cannot control it whatsoever. For a global currency to become practical and highly controllable by governments worldwide, it would need to be as centralized as possible. With the advent of blockchain technology, this is possible, as we've seen it with Ripple (XRP).

As governments carefully research this new technology, they could explore the many benefits a blockchain provides such as unparalleled security, transparency, and low costs. This would prove to be perfect for a centralized global currency, since every transaction could be trackable. No matter if it's transfers of ownership, real estate, certificates of birth/death, and more, the blockchain could easily verify the authenticity of everything, and provide transparency to the government. Before we know it, a single unified currency would take place, allowing everyone no matter the location to transact in the free world.

Imagine being able to pay with the same currency anywhere in the world by just using an implant. At first, it may look convenient for the average user, but as governments use the latest technologies to track and control someone's finances, it’ll be terrifying. Effectively, this could eliminate privacy once and for all, since everything would be tracked by the blockchain and surveilled by AI. Which in turn, brings the New World Order. Just my opinion :)

The governments know this already, they have advisors left and right that know of this but why don't they use it? Because it exposes them and airs our their dirty laundry to their constituents and know that they're actually corrupt as f*ck. That or banks pressures them to turn a blind eye so they could rip off people more.

You do have a point there, mate. Blockchain technology exposes their actions since it's transparent. However, as we've seen with other cryptocurrency projects, blockchain can become private or obfuscated as well. With the use of Zero Knowledge Proofs or Confidential Transactions, sensitive transaction information can become obfuscated from prying eyes. Which gives the governments a greater advantage over fiat, IMO, since it'll be hard to track down and trace their activities on the blockchain.

The way I see it, is that a global currency powered by the blockchain, would make use of privacy technologies for the sole use of governments, while for the rest of the people, it would remain as transparent as possible to help fight criminal activity. Because of the many benefits a blockchain provides such as transparency, privacy, security, and lower operation costs, it'll be too hard to ignore for any government.

Therefore, a global currency powered by the blockchain could become into effect within the not-so-distant future. It's only a matter of question which currency it will be whenever it's the US Dollar, the Euro, the Yen, or any other Fiat currency. Just my thoughts ;D

In my thoughts , i think we need more learned about this because it is not easy and its risky .Why , because you didn`t sure if this is secure or safe. But like you said is very helpful if you know how to use this in your own risk and manage your own . I like the word fast and cheap transaction that offer in every blockchain. But we still need a paper money because this is important also in the wet market and also the non civilized country.

It is more likely that one of the cryptocurrency might be the currency that will be used in financial trnsactions all over the world. But, it not known up to now which coin will that be. As of now, cryptocurrency coins are still racing towards adoption. As of now, developers are working hard for this.

in this case, you need to invent a new bitcoin, because only the anonymity of the Creator gives this decentralization

That's certainly true, mate. However, for a one-world-currency to take effect, it needs to be as centralized as possible. This type of currency would rely on blockchain technology to track every transaction made around the world. I believe that Ripple fits the bill nicely, since it's centralized and several banks have already made partnerships with it. The XRP ledger is highly scalable and extremely cost-effective, which means that it could easily become the go-to platform for a one-world-currency or global currency to emerge within the future.

Once this is done, then all financial data could be stored within a microchip implanted in a person's body. That microchip would include the account balance of that one-world-currency which is powered by the blockchain. By that time, it'll be nearly impossible to attack or disrupt the centralized blockchain ledger backed by millions of devices around the world. Since many governments would be responsible for securing this global currency, the centralized blockchain would be as secure as Bitcoin (probably even more secure than Bitcoin).

While this would take some time to become a reality, there's no doubt that blockchain technology would mature to a point where governments and banks would adopt it for their own benefit. Right now, they've been carefully researching the tech, which means that there's a high probability of a global currency backed by all the governments of the world to emerge within the future. Just my thoughts ;D

I do believe in future all of our transaction will be tracked by blockchain technology, event bank are starting to use blockchain technology for a faster transaction. Lets see what will happen in 5 years from now, i believe blockchain will be really popular and many will come to use it for businesses purposes.

Bitcoin is already a global money itself, because it breaks the barrier in making quick transactions from one country to another. Bitcoin is fast when it comes to making international transactions but I still think that the banks can easily adopt a system like that to make their transactions quick, instead of the slow systems like Western Union, Money gram etc.

But it’s too early to talk about something that is unlikely to happen till the end of the world; have reasons for saying such might not happen or maybe Bitcoin is the one currency they are talking about, maybe this is how it was meant to be, that there will be one currency that can be used by anyone no matter their location and when they decide they can also make use of fiat.

Yes, I also agreed on you. Most likely now cases in easy stealing are on the cryptocurrency, there is a lot of scammers waiting for a weak person as a new victim into them. Improvement of the system is needed especially on transactions process that must be fast and easy to secure your account. Well this is about the story of nine years that crypto currency is here on board. We can have good research on the performance and other factors that will allow us to make a list of best coins in market so far. For me, this is only bitcoin that have the potential to turn red into green. We can have more other coins in the market coming too but they will take more time.

While Bitcoin is global money, it's not a currency which is endorsed by all the governments of the world. That's why, the focus is on a global currency (or should I say a One World Currency) that's powered by the blockchain and backed by all the countries of the world. If Blockchain technology becomes proven enough to handle transactions at a large scale, then without a doubt this will happen in the future, as the benefits are too hard to ignore. Of course, Blockchain eliminates corruption and fraud, but for that same reason, the world will adapt to it within a few years from now.

Once the One World Currency powered by the Blockchain comes into effect, then criminal activity will be reduced to a very minimum. However, the downside of this would be lack of privacy, as it'll be designed to track down every transaction made on planet Earth. From real estate, to transfers of ownership, to asset registration, anything would be registered on a global Blockchain which is maintained by the world's governments. It all sounds scary, but it's the reality as governments and banks worldwide have started to study Blockchain technology nowadays.

Therefore, sooner or later, we would embrace a One World Currency which would make use of Blockchain tech for immutability, transparency, fast settlements, low costs, and fraud prevention. Just my thoughts ;D

Maybe it could happen if all countries would adapt blockchain. We know that blockchain really helps any online transactions that made it more easier and faster. Then if that would be the case, everything would be more accessible.

Agree. First things first. Countries worldwide would need to adapt blockchain to their existing infrastructure for a global currency to become a reality in the future. Considering how many have shift their views from Bitcoin and crypto, to the Blockchain, there's a possibility that the sole technology would take over every aspect of our lives in the future. An issue present nowadays which prevent a "One World Currency" to become a reality, is the lack of Internet access worldwide.

As such, the Internet needs to be accessible by anyone around the world, to help make a "One World Currency" (or Global Currency) powered by the blockchain fully adopted by the masses. The New World Order could use the blockchain for its own benefit, as it provides transparency, and reduces fraud and corruption. With a single blockchain, people could be conducting their transactions worldwide. Obviously, Bitcoin cannot be that "Global Currency" since it's decentralized and unfriendly to most banks and governments worldwide.

Nonetheless, the Global Currency needs to have the approval of governments, and banks worldwide, to become used as a standard (and only) medium of exchange for the people. Perhaps, the US Dollar would switch to a blockchain becoming the Global Currency. Or maybe, another currency such as the Euro or Yuan will take over the world. What matters is that Bitcoin has brought us such a unique technology (Blockchain) which will enable massive transformation of our economy, healthcare, lifestyle, and more. Just my opinion :)
