I start my posting from the bounty selection of this forum after about 10 months of registration and ever since then no merit was given to me on all my posts. In my quest to know the reason, I find out that there are no quality posts in there to give merit to someone. My question now, why do the forum still allow the section to exist? I can we scrap it from the forum since it doesn't give rewards to any post? I am very inquisitive to know why merits are not been given and the section still allowed to exist.

And you think to post over and over your social networks, tweets/shares are something constructive that deserve to be merited?

Since the merits have been created for posts that help the community, is very difficulty for a buonty's thread where 99% of the messages are reports of the activities done on social media have merit points.
In my opinion, one of the few reasons to give points on a bounty is to discover a scam and aller the community.

So which one of your bounty report is so good that it deserves merit?
If you made deeper research you would see that some people was given merits even in that section, unfortunately most of then was given for something more than bounty report or airdrop application (although I've seen even such examples).

Some bounty reports were rewarded actually.  :D

The bounty section doesn't exist to rewards posts made in it with merits.  It exists for people to participate in and report their bounty activities--and I don't see Theymos scrapping the section anytime soon, though I'd love it if he did.

If you're trying to earn merits, work on your English a little bit.  It's not the worst I've seen, but it's a bit hard to understand.  And the other suggestion, which has been made many times before, is to not post in spam sections like Speculation/Economics/Bitcoin Discussion.  Even if you made an outstanding post in a thread in one of those sections, chances are it might not even get read by anyone.

Yeah, those are all great examples of merit corruption.  No way should a bounty report get merited.

One of the reasons posts at the bounty section don't get merited is because Merit sources don't troll there. ; D Take this lightly. Yah, I know campaign managers corruptly get merit there a lot. But what post truly deserves to be merited there? The spammy activity report posts or what?

I guess the merit system is working then. It isn't too difficult to make a few decent posts so that you can be a part of the community.

Merit button should be remove from bounty and ANN board in order to prevent merit abuse. Why are you seeking for merit ? You just need to bounty. Is there merit requirement for perticipate on bounty ? Personally I don't think there is any useful discussion. So how you expect merit for bounty report.

I think it would be also useful to forbid posting for all ranks lower than Jr Member in bounty threads.

Advice to you, stop to use the forum for earning money. Use it to improve your English, to gain invaluable experience in the field of bitcoin and alternative currencies. Stop writing 99% of all your messages in the bounty and altcoins section. Starting a new life in other sections of this forum and then you will get new impressions, knowledge and of course, as a result of merit. Do not have to write your articles, you can write a commentary on the posts of other participants and you will appreciate. Good luck.

I am 100% sure that these merits were bought on the black market.

Well? In the bounty there is no Merit, because of the bounty, it has given you Tokens and made money.

To get Merit, you have to post the best has, information, insight, which is very useful for members in the Forum about everything.

Since the merit count was included I still also don't know what value it will add to our post. But I don't want to believe it is there for fun, the managers will know why they decided to have it.you, as a newbie will have to take time to have your merit.

Just because little to few merits are given in a certain subsection doesn't mean that board shouldn't exist. Little to no merits are probably given in Digital Goods but that doesn't mean we should get rid of it. Merit is to reward notable posts because people were farming accounts just by spamming or claiming giveaways and doing that is now pointless if you want to move up ranks and so it should be. You shouldn't become a Hero member just because you can be bothered logging into every one of your 200 accounts once a fortnight for 1.4 years just to claim a giveaway. Now rising through the ranks actually requires merit and means something as opposed to just time x posts.

We surely see them crying, well I think it's more feasible to limit the junior members and newbies to participate in bounty. So they will have a motivation ( hope so ) to acquire merit.

When I saw title of this thread, I thought - are you asking seriously? Merit for bounty reports? It's not true that Merit aren't given in this board. Bounty hunters often give Merit to bounty managers to liss their asses :D. Also, some users get Merit for their bounty reports - it's likely that they just bought Merit.
But in general, Merit aren't given in this board simply because there are no quality posts. Do you really think that bounty reports is Merit worthy thing?. If we would start giving Merit for bounty reports it just would beat purpose why Merit system was created - bounty spammers would get chance to rank up.

You are writing posts with no value , posting social media reports ( in stupid manner, quoting your reports over and over again) and recently you have started to beg for merit.
These kinds of posts are not merit worthy, start writing good posts or you wont get any merit,ever.

And now you made another threads with the similar topic about "no merit for bounties". Like I said in your last thread you are trying to incite the members of this forum who are against bounty hunters spamming the forum. I would agree with that but that does not mean that the section is there for nothing. That part of the forum generates a lot of traffic for the bottomfeeder counties and thus a good source of income for the forum.

If you have a problem with that section just put it on "Ignore boards" just like people put each other on ignore.

I have suggested this suggestion a few weeks ago but there are no updates in it. Maybe we can see this happening next year or if there are no possible solution for spamming (disregard the removal of signature campaign). I want this to happen. Putting a rank required there. Lets wait if admins will implement it.
