Title: I would like to ask about the site: https://firecrypto.info
Post by: duythan1988 on October 01, 2018, 06:52:29 PM

Hello friends ! One of my friends asked me to withdraw money from this site: https://firecrypto.info.

But when I withdraw money, I receive a notification: "In connection with EU adopts rules to reduce anonymity for crypto users 15 May 2018, we were forced to reduce the number of bots and alter the exchange system. Your balance of has been frozen until you make a deposit. Need to make a Deposit in the amount of 0 / 0.01 BTC"
Is this a scam?

Obviously. It's a pretty dumb scam, so I'm not sure how people still fall for this.

Also, why would you need to deposit something to withdrawal?

That's the key. Same question, why you would deposit to them? and it's a newly registered website so beware.

Don't fall for it.

If it's not a scam then the transaction fee will be from your balance and not from the 0.01 btc that will be deposited since they asked for 0.01 btc then they only want to take your money or your bitcoin and you get nothing. It's clearly "SCAM" you should add the website to your blocklist.

It is definitely a scam site.

"In connection with EU adopts rules to reduce anonymity for crypto users 15 May 2018, we were forced to reduce the number of bots and alter the exchange system. ..."
That's a bunch of nonsense. Hopefully, you haven't sent them any money already.

Otherwise, having to send money in order to receive a large amount of money is a very common scam. Having to send money in order to receive your money is extortion.
