I have selected 50 user from  Here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats=topusersat) (may be list will update randomly, its depend on earned merit)

Really did't copy from your report, I have collected data for top merited user (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats=topusersat) from you and I have mentioned. I just gather who is the merit fan of top merited user. Since lot of user using your website for collect info that's why I made this list. Its easy to find on your website.

it's the evolution of shitposting for merit points.

Cool man, everything isn't for merit. Just came in mind who is the fan of top merited user. That's why I made this list. I have not seen other post about merit fan list.(by search)

Seems like you have succeeded with this project, now everyone is copying info from there.

Obviously its easy to find any information from his website,

I don't think we should suspect everyone for posting good comments. OP has definitely no problems with earning merits and I don't consider this as a high quality shitpost. Quite the contrary, I wasn't aware of these stats and OP is a very interesting read.

dunno, in the few day's ive been back on the forum it seems merit farming is all the hype now and there seemed to be a lot of merit analytic threads in meta, just seems incredibly redundant and an easy way to seem contributive while putting in little effort given the site that vod made.

Yes, I agree here. Few weeks ago, when the Jr. Member requirements were announced many shitposters flooded Meta with low quality posts only for the purpose to get a single merit to be able to participate in a bounty again and continue shitposting.

Therefore, it's always helpful to check the last posts of someone if you have doubts, that this member is doing this only to continue shitposting for bounties. And if we will have more required merits for Jr. Member in the future I recommend to look at their post history after they received this single merit. Were they continuing shitposting immediately and their post quality went down again or did they produce some decent quality content. I'm sure many of them will regret their re-shitposting.

But back to OP, yes, it's another post about merit, so I understand you if it's a little bit annoying somewhere to have everyday new ones, but I consider this one of the useful 5% merit-related posts. I didn't know anything about these merit-fan stats so it's interesting to get it to know this way.  :)

That's a lot of effort Bud, but I don't think posting informations like these from BPIP.org is necessary. What's the point of knowing their "Merit Fan"? and also if someone is looking for a Merit fan of a particular user they can just easily go to bpip.org and search for the username's data.

As far as I know BPIP.org was created to provide the informations of every users here in Bitcointalk, so it means BPIP is somehow like a subordinate of this forum and there's no need to copy the informations of bpip and post it in here in meta just to let a few members know.

Well, it's true. Long time ago where merit is not been introduced here, only the pro's are posting here in Meta. Now, everyone is tryin' to be an analyst (where people gain a lots of merits) like DdmrDdmr. So expect that every topic that has a little bit related or caused by merits will be criticize of being a shitposter.

BPIP.org is quite a helpful site now, you can found all of the informations that you need by typing in the search button. I can't blame OP for doing it because bpip was a successful platform and it's very essential to use it as a source.

What's the point of knowing their "Merit Fan"?

What is the point of posting lots of merit analysis post ?
What is the point of posting merit abuser list ?
What is the point of list top merited user all time by forum ?
What is the point of list top recent merited user by forum ?
What is the point of list merited Jr. Member ?
What is the point of list who help Jr. Member ?
What is the point of How many Merit received Top 200 and Top 400
What is the point of make self made legendary list ?

I'm cool with this list being posted if Vod is, since I do believe he did the work to get the data.  I generally don't visit his website and others may not either, so I think it's useful to have it here.

Foxpup certainly favors the older members, and I totally respect that--and not because he's given me the most merits, either.  Looking at all the other members he's merited, they look to me to be the ones who make some of the best posts around (or at least in the sections I tend to frequent).  It is useful to do that as well, since it gives higher-ranked members who aren't merit sources some sMerits to play around with.  Before Theymos strong armed me into being a source it was mainly Foxpup who supplied most of the sMerits I could spread around.

And while as I said, I respect his merit-giving decisions I will say that nobody has me as a merit fan on the list and probably won't in the future.  I'm trying to spread the merit around as much as possible with an emphasis on members below Hero rank.  But man, sometimes I just can't help myself.  Sometimes people like hilariousandco or Jet Cash or another Hero/Legendary member will make a post so on the money that I just can't not give it a merit.

:'(
Well I do have it bookmarked, I just don't visit all that often and I've never used it for analysis because I'm like an idiot chimpanzee pounding on the keyboard when it comes to computer thingees.

Don't be ridiculous! He is already a full member. If what you mean is that he did this to become a Senior member you are wrong also because he has enough merits to be one, he is only lacking activity.

Apart from that I agree that there are too many threads on merit statistical analysis on meta lately.

I suppose that popularity of BPIP is explained by limited forum functionality.
Without additional web resourses ordinary users can't see old merit sendings and what accounts have been banned.
Visitors can't use searching tool and they can't see trust of the members for some reasons.

At least in other threads about merit I see some own idea by the OPs and yours are purely copy-paste. Not sure if this is considered plagiarism.

You did this to become a Full member get merit. It is not expected from you.
You're the second realizing it (after me). So many topics about merit popped up recently. I remember Quickseller (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5030366.msg45811803#msg45811803) once said that: "My concern with the merit system is that I don't think it necessarily identifies "good" posters, but rather identifies posters whose opinions align with those who are considering awarding merit to a particular post". Sounds like his words stay true with this merit-topic trend.

Then report for plagiarism.
Can you explain briefly what mean copy paste and plagiarism ? I can't see copy paste here. If you found, obviously you are free for report to moderator or report for plagiarism.

Make your quote properly, otherwise you will ban for plagiarism. I have earned more than Sr. potential merit. I believe this is enough rank for me. I has not been expecting merit from you. Read my all post, really I mad all post for merit ? Have I stopped posting due to not receive merit ? You are just thinking about merit because you are eager for it.

I can bet lot of people's are not yet meet with "what is merit fan?" And don't know about Vod site. I have mention from where  I collect details. Is it possible to find full merit history on bitcointalk with out external tools ?

"Merit fan" - is it available on Cambridge dictionary? Yeah, you invented it! Every regular member of Meta knows about Vod's BPIP. You'd better place this "study" into Altcoin Discussion to popularize his tool.

So why are you copying the top fifty users on one of my reports and then pasting it in Meta?   ???

Obviously it is designed to make me realise that you are about to overtake me, and that I really must try harder.

Congrats anyway, you are about to enter the top 10 most merited posters.

[ps]
Dammit Vod, you have overtaken me whilst I was having a coffee break. I knew coffee was bad for me. :)

I think it ia necessary that he should make credits to you. It's your work, it should be permitted by you before he is going to post. Or else it is copy pasted?

That's probably right, OP should have ask Vod's permission first so that s/he won't have any trouble to Vod's project's contents but since the source of the informations posted above were cited in OP then we can't call it plagiarism, it is copied and pasted but legally.

Agree, merit-related topics are too much in my eyes but i'm good with statistical analysis, no problem with that.   ;)

typical mindset of a bounty master race  ::)

Why does ranks are such a big deal? As you can see, he/she has 210 activities and already a Full Member long time ago. Atleast he/she's doing her/his best unlike yours, first page of recent posts are full of social media reports.  8) :o

Most likely, other people here doesn't visit the site every minute, hour, and day. It's still in your hands if you'll appreciate the content and give + or not, no one is forcing you to give some.

Obviously to get merited as a merit analyst just as he duplicates his scam ico list everywhere and keeps bumping it for attention yet attacking another user for seeking one ;D anyways you're damn good at your job so don't stop, keep bursting the scammers but leave merit analysis to those who're best at doing so. Everyone most not be a merit analyst all in the name of getting merits.

How do you think it's legal to use anyone else's property without asking owner's permission? Sharing a link or credit the author is enough? Not at all. You must have permission to use others work. Without permission, it remains the same.
For example, suppose, I have copied an article from here and used it in my blog. I gave credit to the original owner and I have shared a link to the original post. Can it be legal? No way. Can you imagine someone is monetizing that article too?

@OP
You give less effort or no effort at all in this. Although you have shared the reason behind thiss thread. I don't think Vod has accused you for plagiarism in any sense, but, he has just indicated that there was no effort from you in this thread.
Also, people are using information from bpip project for having research and it is allowed too, afaik. We can use information as raw data. That's it.

Obviously to get merited as a merit analyst just as he duplicates his scam ico list everywhere.
Merit isn't the only thing for which some people are being dedicated. I think @OP is fair enough here. His intention for the ico list is to get attention from the newbie so that they can skip the scam ico.
