A hardware wallet is actually the thing for you and there are so many of them, but I would recommend using a Ledger Nano or Keepkey as the case may be. The ball is in your court though and if you really want to go the extreme cold way, you can just generate a paper wallet.

You should not be getting into this space though, without at least trying to understand some of the things you need to know when it comes to security of your funds, risks in the market as a whole and some other basic things to help you make decisions in the long term. Just thought I should give you the last part as an advise.

I am using a hard wallet and the brand name is Ledger Nano S. It is really a great hard wallet for a reasonable price. I paid $ 150 for a purse and it protected my fortune for two years. That's great for a market full of hackers.

As mentioned, a hardware wallet is generally a good choice and what most people will use. Ledger Nano S and Trezor are the two most popular ones. If you are looking at storing altcoins, then check which hardware wallet (if any) supports the coin(s) you are interested in. Hardware wallets have the advantage of easily being able to spend or transact the coins. The disadvantages include cost and losing access to your coins if you forget your PIN and/or lose your mnemonic.

Another option is paper wallets. Although free, these have the downsides of being awkward to spend coins from, as well as potentially being risky if created on an insecure device.

Both methods have their pros and cons - best to research a bit and find the one that is right for you.

As other have mentioned that hardware wallet or the paper wallet is the best to store the bitcoin for longer term but you need to know the usage of these kind of wallets, you only have the access to this wallets and for access you need those private keys if you forgot those means your bitcoin will be stay forever so you need to keep your private keys safely if you want to store your bitcoin for longer period.
