Post by: bill gator on October 11, 2018, 02:21:01 PM You'll need to earn yourself a merit in order to become a Jr. Member and move up from your Newbie rank. Normally there is no effort in maintaining a rank, as once it is attained it is kept. The only reason you reverted back to Newbie status was because there was a change recently that requires 1-merit to become a Jr. Member, which ended up ranking a lot of Jr. Members back to Newbie.
Earn yourself a merit, and your rank will be promoted and maintained as is your goal. Merit is earned by contributing to the community in a informative, entertaining or altruistic manner. Looking at your post history, it might be difficult for you, as you have mainly just made bounty related posts. Engage in quality discussions without worrying about merits. You off course need merits to do so. The community need more value to it so that's how you get a merit, make worthwhile post, things like that.
