It is actually right that in the world of Bitcoin and cryptos there are many villains that try their best to disrepute this world by doing scams on larger scale. On lower scale the scams can be negotiable but the larger scammer sharks are havoc to the world of cryptos.

Facebook and other social media platforms might also have had faced huge losses due to inflation and sudden strikes in the price of Bitcoin and other cryptos. That can also be the reason for them to not accept and allow Bitcoin and others for paid advertisements.

I guess Mark Zuckerberg is planning to promote his own crypto. As we all know that there are lots of money involve if Facebook is gonna tokenize every products and services that they offer online. There's a very high possibility of success since Facebook has already build a name and there's no need to pay for advertisements online. I guess this is one of the main reasons why Mark is banning paid crypto ads in Facebook. This is just my own opinion though since Mark is a businessman and he won't let this opportunity to make a single dime out of this awesome technology pass.

Facebook is a commercial platform. They wanted to ban cryptocurrency ads, but then they changed their minds.

They did not want to lose millions of dollars from the ads they received.

I wouldn't say that Facebook is against Bitcoin but they are very cautious and trying to protect their users.
Having in mind how huge user network they have, they have some responsibilities. And the great deal of money that is coming from advertising. But some crypto adds might be connected with scams and they don't want to have anything with that or take some responsibility.
There are also some rumors that Facebook is going to launch its own currency although I don't believe much in that.

yes actually I have known this since yesterday, when facebook tried to ban cryptocurrency actually their goal was to reduce a lot of scams that occurred in Facebook ads because of the many scams committed by ico who were not responsible, and many of the facebook community reported ico, maca from that facebook banned adverts related to cryptocurrency. but from the latest news that I am now Facebook has unbanned cruptocurrency and is more selective of which ads could potentially scam

Facebook hell isn't against bitcoin, why would they want to do that, the facebook network is just being careful so that it's platform isn't used to propagate scam information..

Bitcoin happens to be used a lot by scammers, either proposing for users to double their bitcoin or deposit to claim bitcoins, its just so sickening, and worse of this scammers use the facebook networks to try out their petty tricks
I think that's the very reason why Mack is a bit sceptical about bitcoin ADS on his platform.
You wouldn't really blame him, would you?

Facebook are rather wary of cryptocurrency in general and not bitcoin. Particularly the rise of ICOs and rampant cases of scam projects.
Facebook are rightly trying to protect it's users form exposure to scam.
And It has to swing the hammer on all coins.

No, I do not see facebook banning any ICO ads. You can advertise any project on facebook without being played. So do not worry too much because facebook information will ban advertising electronic money. Advertising the ICO project on facebook is helping them make a huge profit, so they will not ban it.

Have. Facebook is fighting bitcoin. I heard that Facebook is stopping bitcoin ads and electronic money. Facebook does not want the virtual currency system to affect its customers. Facebook thinks that electronic money is a scam. So they do not advertise for electronic money. This has reduced the development of electronic money systems, particularly bitcoin.

Definitely. They wouldn't want to miss having their own cryptocurrency because they can see that there is a future with it. So far, only bitcoin and ethereum are widely used as what they are supposed to be but as time goes by and as the projects mature, we would be able to see the real purpose of blockchain and how it can help in our daily loves in which case, other big companies would consider creating their own as well and it would include facebook.

Facebook once banned advertisements related to crypto, but recently I read the news that they canceled the intention. I think it's very natural that initially they were very afraid of crypto's existence on Facebook, because the ads that often appear are just any ICO projects that could be fraud / scams, they must protect their consumers from it. but more than that Facebook also sees another aspect as a consideration that the crypto industry is a real thing that must be accepted by the future society.

Facebook is lately getting a lot of flack from the US government and we know they are their lap doggie, so I figure they would want to dance by their tunes as usual. Social media in general are under fire, so they will avoid controversial issues with the government and that explains the actions against Crypto currency advertisements.

The herd mentality is clearly kicking in, if you look at the collective actions of most of the social media platforms.  ;D

In fact, talk about Bitcoin is not the worst advertisement that can be seen on social networks. In my opinion, it is much worse to advertise medicinal preparations of unconfirmed action, various clubs for interests, among which sometimes there are disguised religious sects and the like.

I don't think bitcoin is against bitcoin. It is against ICO's in general, Facebook can not distinguish legitimate ICO's from fraud so what they did was ban all ICO post as to protect its users from possible scams.

Facebook is not against Bitcoin but rather intends to avoid the situation of misleading its community members through its paid advertisement. Users of facebook can post crypto and Bitcoin related topics on facebook without any penalty.

As you say, Facebook did not prohibit postings related to crypto and Bitcoin and was not penalized. But it still avoids as much as possible some of Facebook's features, partly because of the general lack of thinking that bitcoin is a scam.

Facebook started blocking all virtual currency ads including Bitcoin, iCOs and the like. This is part of a policy against fraudulent marketing on this social platform. The policy allows the promotion of politically sensitive topics, but still requires compliance with certain rules. For example, the requirement for a license for gambling or gaming services is forbidden to advertise "misleading or deceptive" student loans. They also require advertisers that these services are only allowed to target users over 18.

The ads about cryptocurrency was banned in Facebook, but now it is open. Also, as both the sectors are commercial, it is usual for them not to promote each other, also there are some restrictions in different countries against crypto, so it's normal for Facebook to be concerned. But Facebook now won't restrict any crypto related post.

Others can have a negative view in bitcoin but for those who truly understand and are aware of what this technology is all about they know how truly beneficial it is. I don't think that it's going to ruin Bitcoin's image because I still believe that bitcoin still has a brighter future despite arising controversies.

I don't think mark zuckerberg is planning any such things because the amount of popularity facebook is has and mark zuckerberg has this would have the news of the decade and market might have been shooted up or down but not be stable. It is just that before when many countries tried to ban bitcoin at that time to be in good books facebook also tried banning the ads or crypto but they realized it how bad that decision was and now they have corrected it again.

I think Facebook helps bitcoin to reach more people to know about cryptocurrency. Facebook give their member a free to speak in the site and share news about bitcoin although not all is good news. They're not against bitcoin, they just want to stop taking shit from government entities accusing them of jeopardizing user privacy. They're going to use AI to spot ICO scams, and I doubt they'll deny ad revenue for crypto, until they create their own currency of course. Whoever creates the most used currency has the most world power, and this is what they're ultimately after. They're not "against" anything, they're for staying relevant and will do whatever it takes. As of now this means jumping on the blockchain bandwagon and investing heavily in AI/VR/AR.

Not advertising crypto related ads on facebook is a strong indication that the facebook team don't believe in the use of cryptocurrencies. facebook is never against cryptocurrencies rather it is against advertising fraud and scam project using their platform. They are only after protecting their users from fraud projects. What facebook is doing, fortunately is helping to identify scam projects which they will block from on set to use  face book platform. You can see this measure helps even the bounty hunters to identify ideal projects and work to promote such projects. I had an experience few days ago there is this project that some body introduce to me and immediately i want to chat some body and refer him the project face book flag the project as scam and inappropriate  to be in their platform

- Indeed, facebook has no intention against bitcoin, they are just trying to protect all users from the propaganda and scams associated with crypto and bitcoin because in recent times, cases involving phishing through bitcoin and crypto have become so widespread, the government has paid a lot of attention to this issue. As a big company, facebook needs to intervene to protect their reputation and customers, even they do not want to stick to the law, these issues are very sensitive, but we can believe that, when all problems are resolved and the government allows, facebook is likely to be a leader in helping and promoting bitcoin

Obviously the Facebook is against bitcoin and again the reason is its volatile nature, this is human psychology that when the valuation of bitcoin is low people started calling it a scam or a bubble that would burst soon and due to its criticism, Facebook has banned crypto ads from its page so that it may not loose its users and following Facebook , Twitter has also banned it but the result are now according to them as after banning crypto ads, the shares of Facebook has deflated and this much potential bitcoin possesses.

Facebook will no longer accept ads for regular financial services related to fraudulent or misleading advertising, including ads for Bitcoin. I don't think Facebook is against Bitcoin but it is more cautious after the breaches happened in the past few days, but I don't think banning crypto ads can lead to more security because it is not that scams happen only because of bitcoin they also happen because of Bitcoin banning  crypto ads isn't a good idea,if so it is good ide there are many other things that can be  baneed that are leading to gretaest scams than crypto ,but yeah I feel Mark Zuckerberg also started to realize how potential and popular crypto is becoming and so removed the ban on crypto ads which is a great news indeed.

I disagree. Mark Zuckerburg even stated that he's going to study blockchain and cryptocurrency. Mark Zuckerburg always want his user to improve user experience in the platform and investments scam are definitely is not what he wants.

in my opinion there are several reasons why Facebook prohibits bitcoin. First Facebook prohibits cryptocurrency and ICO ads because now many ICOs are scamming so Facebook doesn't want its users to be deceived by the ICO. The second time I also read that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg wanted to make crypto himself. and they also think that payment via crypto costs a lot and is a long time. but I think when crypto improves the system, the transaction process is accelerated and costs are reduced, so they will be interested in promoting crypto again.

So far it is difficult to say whether it was a targeted correction of the crypto-community or just a new algorithm that blocks bounty hunters accounts, but if this happens with the facebook, it will not have a very good effect on the dissemination of information on new ICOs.

The rules made by Facebook regarding crypto ads and topics related to bitcoin, are not prohibitions, but rather an anticipation of Facebook against fraud or others that can be misleading through crypto or bitcoin advertisements. Thus what Facebook does in my opinion to protect crypto or bitcoin advertisements from the actions of people who want to do an action that can harm Facebook or crypto or bitcoin. The steps taken by Facebook are quite positive for me because it is not a prohibition but a ban on the abuse of crypto or bitcoin advertisements that can harm all parties involved.

Well if Mark Zuckerberg is restricting bitcoin and other crypto related advertisements because he is trying to promote his own crypto currency it is both good and bad news to the crypto world because for the positive side it can make a revolution by proving a grate digital currency to the world due to his experience and knowledge and for the negative side it can eventually make other currencies to loose in the market because more and more users will always follow the more promising one over other

So long as Facebook's clients aren't getting misled, Im sure the organization would absolutely love to take on the extra income.
Additionally, Facebook most likely assumes the crypto fever is to some degree genuine. The organization begun its own internal blockchain team earlier this year to investigate the technology that is utilized as the foundation for all cryptocurrencies

Bitcoin is a decentralised crypto currency and because of its decentralised nature only there are many organisations, big multinational companies, even the governments of many nations are saying rubbish about the bitcoin and they are also very right at their respective place as no one wants to bring any kind of illegal activities in their organisations and Facebook is one of them but the best part is when Facebook banned crypto ads from its page, it leads to deflation in the valuation of stocks of Facebook and this simply signifies that how bitcoin is important for people.

As far as I know, Facebook does prohibit cryptocurrency, one of the Bitcoin, well with that the company held by Mark Zuckerberg said the purpose was that the advertising content was related to the practice of deceptive and misleading promotions.
that is to say, on the grounds that Facebook is taking bans to prevent irresponsible people from promoting fraudulent financial products and services. So until now Facebook has remained as usual with crypto and Bitcoin.

they only want the privacy of their advertisements to be organized so that there isn't too much to go to fraud that harms the user. they try to set it up and it's been proven that Facebook allows it to return according to the terms and conditions in force.

I actually consider Twitter to be very hard against crypto today, but actually their understanding is the same to make everything look without spam and have factual crypto data and news.

Facebook is not against Bitcoin but rather intends to avoid the situation of misleading its community members through its paid advertisement. Users of facebook can post crypto and Bitcoin related topics on facebook without any penalty.

of course not, this is just a misunderstanding. We all know that Facebook's ban is only on adverts for ico crypto. and new rumors that Facebook has allowed it to return.

No, it is not against bitcoin in anyway and as we all know facebook will take everything that could profit them. I think it is those projects that are having ICO's they are being extra cautious about because of the law in the U.S governing cryptocurrency. The very same reason why mostly their residents are not allowed to participate in an ICO.

yes I agree with you Facebook just wants to protect users from cryptocurrency fraud. because now there are too many ICOs and most ICOs are scam. so that Facebook does not want its users to be deceived by ICO who scam and I have also read an article that the founder of Facebook will create crypto coins themselves. let's wait if Facebook will properly establish crypto itself.

No, facebook is not against bitcoin. It's just that they have policies when it comes to advertisements. I know some friends who has their accounts locked up on facebook due to spamming ICO advertisements. And also, i think facebook wants us to take precautions on some scam ICO's.

with the many scams that advertise on Facebook, Facebook tries to avoid it because it can have a bad impact, so it seems to ban. or maybe Facebook wants to work together officially and definitely related to such advertisements so that no one is harmed and can be mutually beneficial so that before clarity there is Facebook trying to ban it. so my personal opinion is the same as yours if Facebook does not fight Bitcoin.

From the Facebook incident that blocked crypto ads, I concluded that the Facebook founders were afraid of the huge crypto potential and could defeat Facebook assets. so they deleted it from their page. because I see other areas of investment that are equally at risk with crypto, that is, binary options are not blocked.

I agree with this, in terms of secure public image Bitcoin is a very prone platform for anomalies and any technical related issues which may not be a good influence when it comes to public character for Facebook, which we all know is popular for very strict regulations which come up for a good flow of information and security is highly monitored, maybe it doesnt mean they dont really spread news about Bitcoin they against this.

Facebook only against spammers, not Bitcoin.

in the world of commerce nothing lasts forever, everything always changes, all businesses must aim for profit we all know that Facebook can run long because of the advantages in it, so if bitcoin is considered profitable for Facebook it can be ensured that it will always be supported and socialized, but if it is potentially detrimental then the nature of the business will speak differently namely refusing,

Facebook is not against Bitcoin but rather not allowing or creating the slots of ICO or crypto ads. The reason is that Facebook believes that most of its community members where misled to invest in fake or scam ICOs. However, you can make a personal post about cryptocurrency or ICOs or create cryptocurrency related pages and groups without being penalized.

Since some ICOs are scam and facebook itself won't let its reputation on promoting scam ICOs that could make investors suffer due to the ICOs lack of legitimacy and all it did is to steal money. That was several months ago but today I know that they are not promoting ICOs again maybe because they it adds to its revenue on ads.

Yes, these restrictions apply only to paid advertising. And I also believe that it is right, it will help us to avoid the spread of fraud. What bounty hunters write on their pages is not a full-fledged advertising. It is in fact an expression of opinion on any project. Therefore, they are not subject to prohibitions.

Facebook only tries to stop scammers from tricking FB users into giving important personal info like credit card details. Facebook is not against the concept of crypto, but they just want to protect their users from scam.
