ERC223 is clearly an upgrade to ERC20 that could really help to solve a lot of problems. It helps with the lost tokens while sending to a contract, and also help developers manage the incoming token transactions from what've read etc.

My question is this, It's being some time since Ethereum implemented this I believe and yet, I can't seem to find any project that uses ERC223 instead of ERC20 and does anyone know If the current wallets such as Exodus, Myetherwallet, MyCrypto, Coinomi etc. support sending ERC223 just as ERC20 or the upgrade didn't affect that and tokens are simply treated as tokens regardless?

With Myetherwallet you can send them like any ERC20 token, there's no problem. With the other wallets I don't really know.

I know only the project that used ERC-827. It`s The Deal Coin, but  ;D They don't even have a smart contract, and I suspect that this is a scam. IMHO, but ERC-20 has simply established itself as a hopeful standard and no one will use the other anytime soon.

ERC223 is backwards compatible with ERC20 meaning every software that supports ERC20 will also supports ERC223.

I think that collectibles and securities are really the future of crypto, no doubt that these will make more profit than the miriad of stupid utility tokens that have been launched for the moment.

The ERC223 is an upgrade over the ERC20 sure but are used to making their transactions using ERC20 and so it seems that the new ERC223 isn't being used, even though it has backwards compatibility which would allow any server that uses ERC20 to use ERC223 the same way. Maybe in time people will start using ERC223 more than ERC20.

If you knew Experty project I think their token is ERC223 supported. I know they announced thia during the early stage of their project that they will implement the using of this type of token under ethereum smart contract platform. I think this isnt perfect yet since most are still called erc20 tokens as a native product of eth but erc223 will be a game changer for eth sincr a lot of upgrades were made with this.

As the upgrade has been made recently, it will take some time to see a project with ERC223. And there should be wallets that supports the new upgrade. You can search it up on google as the site will be able to provide you with the list of wallets that supports ERC223.

Well that might be a part of business. But may be the upgraded version is still in the test and experimented state, so when it will publish its final version, all might use it.

I think that it is a standard that is very much welcome, but now the problem is much more related to regulations rather than to the technology itself regarding securities and stocks.

yes, so far on myetherwallet can. but okex seems like it can, I don't really know either.

Okex is an exchange and you shouldn't treat it as a wallet If you want don't want to lose your funds in the future.
