Hi i already have a safe portfolio of coins but now i would like to risk and invest $5,000 into some coins that can turn into a lot of money. What coins would be good do you believe?

basically top 100 coins/tokens are in buy range right now, for example ZEN,MFT,QKC and many more.
recently they got pumped for more than 20% and consolidated, that means it will get another run up because the trend started to change by creating a new support after breaking the resistence.
of course nobody knows the exact date for them to get pumped again, but if you can hold it at least for a few weeks or months. i believe it is worth to try.
and remember, everything is possible and always do something or play something that you can afford to lose, that is cryptolaw!

Look, man, I'm gonna make you a nice list now. Buy them and forget about 2 years. Then lean back and watch what happened.

I think you should select carefully the most valuable coins to invest such a big amount. There are many good cryptocurrencies which have the potential to increase highly in the future, Bitcoin is the first one of course, But there is also Ethereum, NEO, Ripple and Waves.

I bought XTZ with almost all my investment. I think XTZ will come to very good places soon. After 5-6 months, the price may reach the level of 4-5 dollars. I think a reasonable investment.

Well, this is really a good and awesome decision I think. I am sharing my opinion that buying ETH can be a good option now. Because ETH is now low price and it's a good time to buy I think. Now 1 ETH= $200 (all most) If you buy ETH with $5000 and when each ETH will touch $1000 then you will get a huge profit.

Major and medium coins. But you should remember to invest when the market was getting big red candle and yi should not rush the market will your money without doin any TA and FA analyzation. that said learn before doin anything. that's the best thing that you can follow.

Now my faith is strong only in bitcoin, all other coins are questionable, and bitcoin itself is sometimes in doubt, but investing in altcoins is probably riskier.

$5000 amount of capital is good start and you can make more money if you get more potential altcoins. Here is the some altcoins that you can possible to buy bitcoin, ethereum, ripple ,monero , waves coin, litecoin , zcash , and also dash you can search for different coins and you can make every search of each coin to know what is good for your money.

5000 USD is a big amount in this bear market. You have a lot of options to invest mate. But You will have to prepare to invest for a long time, at least for 2-3 Years. You should invest in Ethereum, Bitcoin, EOS, NEO, XRP, And Ripple. And you may invest in ADA, ZIL, ICN, BNB, XLM, NANO, and XRP. Therefore you are very safe to invest in any coins from the top 50 coins list in coinmarketcap!

If you want to invest in crypto platform you must choose the duration of investment because Ethereum is a best place for longterm investment but if you expecting quick profit this not a right place. I prefer Bitcoin because it will make stable profit in any situation so your investment is always safe and most of experts says it will going to moon in end of the year so good profit is nearly waiting.

Aside from the usual occupants in the Top 100 of the CoinMarketCap site, I am suggesting that you also allot a certain percentage of your allocated funds to new projects which can be profitable in the long-run though you must always be careful never to get into another shitcoin. There will always be some breakthroughs in the ICO platform from time to time it is just a matter of vetting which can be it. There will always be risks here but i am sure you are already aware of that...good luck on this endeavor of yours and may it be bringing the good fruits that you are looking for.

Most people will try to suggest coins they already own or want to sell soon. They are not necessarily the safest projects or that have a potential for high profitability. The value you will invest does not matter that much. We are not in a traditional market. What you should say is what your long-term vision for cryptocurrencies is.

For example, do you believe it will be the best store of value and want to invest in a more volatile insurance project? So your choice is Bitcoin. And only him.

look into futurax/ ftxt on idex or hotbit, this coin is very cheap right now, if you invest now it will be 2x or 3x next month if this coin listed on indodax

People like you that have spare money to invest are really the lucky investors at this time.  The market is down and sluggish and lots of seller are willing to sell at the lowest price.  Buy Bitcoin,  Ethereum', EOS and iota, in few months time you will be glad you did!

Quite surprising that in your portfolio there is no BTC, for me BTC is always the first choice, then I think of other altcoins. 50% I will invest BTC, the remaining 50% I will give the altcoin in your list

I would suggest you look over waves, stratis, xrp, and ethereum since you got a lot of money to spend. And I really don't think that this question should be really asked. These kinds of questions must be answered by oneself by looking over great coins in the top 50 and speculating on what coin will grow big in the future.

just try to learn more about the best altcoins, with less risk,, such as ethereum, ada and eos

I would prefer short term investments on such weak market. Mostly for the speculation. Thats why I advise to take a look at Aeron project. I think there are a lot of coin realizations that you can buy for now with quite a lot of money, you can buy 3-5 coins or more, I only have coin views like ETH, XRP, LBC, DGB, BTG, BCH
