If its the best then it should be facebook.

But if its for the influence and has good content creators I usually see those tweets are more interesting and most of the crypto enthusiasts are staying there. Developers are expressing their thoughts about the market through twitter so I think its the best social media platform for crypto enthusiasts.

Almost every people who know cryptocurrency definitely using this social media (especially like me). I like Telegram is simple, fast, secure, synced across all our devices, and of course is FREE ;D. (I think Telegram is like Whatsapp combined with LINE messenger)...

We can be chatting, share information, and publish some news or content on our own channel and group to the other members who using telegram too...

Also, I see so many ICO Projects promoting their project via telegram by inviting the bounty hunters to join telegram bounty campaign...

this is such a broad question that can not be answered. you first have to explain what kind of platform you are looking for and what you want to do in it.
for example for each of these categories you mentioned here there are different purposes. for instance a developer who wants to create a shitcoin and pump it needs a different platform and has to do a different thing compared to a developer who wants to innovate and create an actually good cryptocurrency.

Content is King, If you have good content then all Social media outlet can help you. I have seen lots of content on different platforms, most of them are trash. Those with original and good content are hard to found now days.

If you want to start then the best place will be Reddit as you easily find like minded users there. If your content is good they will appreciate and help you more.

but generally a forum like bitcointalk is the best place because it has a board for everything so you have a place to post what you want in that appropriate category and also most importantly the audience is focused on correct people. for instance if you post on Facebook as others suggested you will get random people who may not know or care about cryptocurrencies but if someone is on bitcointalk then they are already familiar with them.

Yes, I think forums like bitcointalk are a good place because in forums, they include people with the same concerns and they have certain backgrounds about the forum posts. As with Facebook, or Twitter, information can reach people who are not interested in it

What developer still use until now, twitter. I think some of people that can called influencer always post their mind on twitter.That is why twitter is one important thing to spread and make influence about crypto.

The scope of the question is really big and can't be answered completely with the scope of this thread. However, I have been using few social media platforms since a long time now and I found Facebook, Twitter and specially Linkedin are more influential on cryptos! Facebook and twitter are used for general marketing of cryptos while Linkedin is used by the business owners in crypto space to get more visibility and business orders!

For content creators, I see Medium is especially good but Medium has some kind of strict policy towards cryptcurrencies and a lot of people have got their account banned in Medium for violating such policies! For content also, I found Linkedin is good enough to showcase your skills! hope this helps! 

I think facebook is the best social network for cryptos. Currently there are about 1 billion facebook users on the world. The number of facebook users is constantly increasing. So, advertising the cryptos with facebook will bring high efficiency.

I think many social media should be used to differenciate the promotion and finally get good results. But it should be strated from Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Whats'up and others most popular.

I too will have to say that Bitcointalk is a great social media outlet because it will surely give you a lot of information you will be needing and you can sure have a conversation and discussion about certain Cryptocurrency related things, But in other media, I really think that you will need to be specific on what kind of things you will do and share in every social media you will need, for example Facebook, I really think there are limited links that can be posted on Facebook so there are things that are forbidden in using FB.

The best social media platform for crypto is Twitter. I think twitter has the wide range of and very renowned person in their platform and they have great influence on the public. Even every celebrities are in twitter and when they tweet a single word there is more influential for your business.

Yes i do agree that telegram is really good for crypto and cause it could be use for discussions and also widely use by investors and also bounty hunters that are part of crypto space. I also think medium could be really good as a media to created something good for cryptocurrency and to promote cryptocurrency.

I prefer Facebook as in that site, and they have large members from all country and Facebook now become a big social media industry. But besides Facebook, maybe you can take a look at Instagram as I see they have a chance to be the next bigger social media industry like Facebook. I am sure that with a big members community of that social media, you can attract more customer and of course, more investor to invest in the projects. You must think out of the box and don't use the usual media like another project if you want your project to reach more audience, so they want to know more about your project.

I think that 3 social media platforms are very important for advertising for the bitcoin and the cryptocurrency. The facebook had 2.27 billion monthly active users and the twitter has 326 million monthly active users. So these two are most important ones. Also telegram is in the miidle of everything. Because it is online, and you get answer for your questions there.

I would go for Twitter <advertising> and Whatsapp for micro payments, if I had to target Social media. Facebook are good, but if you post something and you do not flag it for public use, then it is worthless. <It will only reach your friends>

There's a lot of good social media platforms out there for cryptos. For creating awareness, I think FaceBook will top it because everyone seems to have FB accounts. For influence, I think LinkedIn and Redddit are pretty good. Twitter would not be left behind too. Oh Quora also is a good platform for intellectual discussions about cryptos and other topics too.

I totally agree with you. You go around twitter and even sponsored advertisements you see a lot from crypto and followers coming everyday, almost crypto-enthusiast in all. I can also see a lot of advertisements, posts, reposts in facebook but more in twitter.

I'll second the one who has mentioned Reddit. If you are looking for like-minded persons, you will find the exact group on a particular subreddit page you will be posting. The interaction is healthy between each members as they are pretty open and helpful to the community. Some popular (and lesser known) cryptocurrencies do even have their own subreddit pages where people openly discussed their thoughts, analysis, news, and predictions to one another. Yes there are biases but almost all the conversation I have seen are healthy and helpful.

All social media platforms has their various importance but I think the best place to get cryptocurrency information is the Twitter platform there are lots of crypto enthusiast with right updates, followed by Facebook but to my observation there are lots of scam contents and false information on facebook about cryptosystem. SO, I will say all social medias are good if only there's right contents for investors, beginners and crypto enthusiast to get the right information about and cryptocurrencies and the blockchain in general.

What the OP asked is of two categories because every social media have there own best features and if we are talking about the best social media outlets for cryptocurrency advertisement I believe is the best option but if we are talking of the social media for developers, analysts, enthusiasts etc Linkedln and Github are the best for that.

I heard even Facebook are banning the crypto ads and some FB groups. But so far the greatest social media outlet for crypto currency is still Facebook coz everyone is using it.

Like if it should be Telegram, that means the project is trying to bring all it's people in one place and interact and if it's a Twitter, then that means such handle is going to be used to disseminate informations while if it's mediun, that means is going to be used to write articles and

Telegram may be the most used platform for cryptocurrency projects, but it is not necessarily the best outlet. You cannot really publish an article on telegram and it remains to easily be read by everyone. Telegram is just a chat app. The messages you post today will move far behind after few days. That is why it is not the best. I honestly will give it to Medium. Articles on medium stays almost forever. You can even get a link to such articles when you use Google search engine for a particular crypto project published in a medium blog.

There are many social media platforms we know that and using most of them. But we can use it in different sector for business purposes or projects marketing. Yes all social media outlets can be used to promoting bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies but you're wrong when you said all social media are best in terms of promoting cryptocurrencies because some social media are not crypto friendly while some are not that secure in the aspect of providing their users genuine crypto news or ICOs project. I see facebook as the best social media for promoting crypto currencies because they only allow ICOs project that provided them the right document.

Well, so far they have been using facebook and twitter but there are also youtube, instagram, reddit, medium, teleram and slack. I believe it is facebook and twitter that is leading and most used because it has more audience compared to the rest I mentioned above.

I think the best place are here on BitcoinTalk, everyone who are into crypto know this platform and most use it also, Reddit are very good also. Twitter for a fast update, then comes FaceBook. I like to dive into different coins on Discord you can find some really good community in there, with many interesting rooms, Telegram chat are just one long chat, like the chat rooms in the 1990's so I use that as little as possible, but its good if you want a fast answer from a coin support.

I agree when you say bitcointalk because that is the one that i will also recomend though i slightly disagree when you say facebook for crypto news .   im a long time facebook user and i noticed that most of their news are fake or plain hoax  .  

Lately , crypto related contents are being restricted and removed from facebook  .  

Many crypto based news out there that we can easily search but bitcointalk also provide it  so id rather stick with this forum  to avoid confusions .

Right now I am using 4 social media platforms and they are facebook, twitter, telegram and linkedin, however I think the best of them all is facebook but have some limitations regarding posting cryptocurrency. Anyway it is very much useful in promoting and getting information on whats new on bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

There is no best social media I think. I can say 4 sites where we can spread the word about crypto.

1. Facebook - because many people are using facebook every single day, this is the most recommended site to advertise cryptocurrency and other projects related into it.
2. Twitter - Its the same as facebook I think.
3. LinkedIn - There are many managers and professionals are using LinkedIn and I think this is one of sites where we must spread knowledge about crypto.
4. bitcointalk.org - To be honest, this is the site where I learn something about crypto. I learned many things about crypto here on this website and I'm grateful that I know this site.

It seems to me that Telegram and Twitter are the most productive for crypto. At least, I and my friends get the most important and new information from there. On Twitter, I follow the authoritative people from the crypto world and digital technologies, and that’s where they post their opinions and recent posts. Well, Telegram channels are a godsend. Very convenient and informative.

Maybe, Facebook is the best social media for the crypto market.i have said that most and huge popular media fair on the Facebook media. Every most important information is share in this media and (investor,traders,holders).Everyone people doing use Facebook social media for quickly received expensive update about crypto market.even Facebook technology update more stable helpful now this market situation.but another more have , example: Twitter, telegram group,LinkedIn,bitcointalk lot of topics,Reddit goods.

Telegram is not best social media outlets for cryptocurrency because specific people using telegram which is most of the Bitcointalk member.

Inside this forum you will be able to check information that you need in order to be well updated with the current trend, though FB and Twitter are mostly visited by people who don't have or only have little knowledge regarding to this industry so developers are using this venue to gain more attentions and engage newbies to learn potentials and start  to invest.

I would definitely prefer Telegram and Twitter even more than Facebook because majority of crypto enthusiast are sharing there knowledge and new ideas using those social media tools and they are often used to market new ICO programs by companies without any trouble so they can be consider as crypto friendly social media platform but no one can certainly sure this situation will remain forever because any social media company change there policies but so far they are better 

Among the social media currently available, the first thing to say about Facebook is to say. If you only talk about social media, through which you can get acquainted. You can get a huge idea about Facebook through, But I will not be a bit behind on Twitter. Now millions of people use Twitter. Then to say it is to say telegram. I do not think there is currently a crypto group if it is not connected to telegram. Telegram is currently not a Backward compared to Facebook and Twitter. If you're talking about content as a blog or article I'll tell you about the Steemit, LinkedIn, Reddit, bitcointalk and Medium.

Telegram is as safe as you make of it. But if you're someone who falls for scams and tricks, then it doesn't matter what grade encryption Telegram has, just like it doesn't matter about Bitcoin's cryptographic superiority if you don't practice good security habits.

Anyone who thinks Telegram has a positive effect on the spread of bitcoin should do a poll of Telegram users. I bet you, not even 10% have ever spent anything with Bitcoin.

I totally agree Twitter, Facebook and also YouTube has become main sources to promote new cryptocurrencies with minimum or without cost and so far there are no considerable barriers from these platforms to stop promotions and that is why many projects are using these social media sources than any other outlet

fb and twitter are now strict and too picky when it comes to crypto talks but they arent totally banning crypto stuff .  

telegram is more open but the pay on this campaign are too low  because the work arent hard compared to creating  post and sharing content on social media platforms  .

  reddit , linked-in are also good because these two are popular sites and users here are somehow atracted to new technologies such as cryptocurencies  and related to it  .

right now i think facebook and twitter, beacuse there are many people that use 2 of that social media, why i notice facebook and twitter for the best, facebook have the groups that might be good for community, and twitter is good because of the transparency, so its like the open social media for twitter.

I don't fully agree with you. I think medium is more influential. People treat information they get on medium more seriously than what they see on Facebook posts. I personally don't open most Facebook crypto posts.
