Title: The cryptocurrency version of amazon
Post by: seOG on November 10, 2018, 05:18:51 PM
Our marketplace: https://market.forra.io/

Cryptocurrency is changing the way payment processing works, Forra is the marketplace building that future for e-commerce sellers. Amazon is the largest marketplace in the world, we have taken some inspiration from the everything store and have decided to build what is essentially the cryptocurrency version of Amazon. You can buy and sell anything for Cryptocurrency using Forra. We find our mission and goals to be very much so in line with Amazon. We are more of a cryptocurrency company than Amazon, and because of this, we are able to provide our users with the cheapest way to do business online.

Forra is a marketplace for you to sell products for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash without fees. Click here to start selling. Or click here to see the product.
We are comparing ourselves to Amazon in a sense that we are a similar marketplace but utilize cryptocurrency for its transactional efficiencies. If we explain Forra to someone they quickly understand who we are if we say “an alternative marketplace similar to Amazon that uses cryptocurrency.” They quickly catch on to what Forra is and how it can be very beneficial to e-commerce sellers, and buyers.

The main difference between Forra and Amazon

Amazon has upwards of 30% in fees when you use FBA, or upwards of 12% in fees when you sell without FBA. Forra has ZERO FEES.

Supportive of all projects and we need something to replace Amazon for sure, but until you can find a way for users to move away from Amazon and start using alternatives, we can never find better range of items or better prices than on Amazon itself.

Add to the services that let you pay for Amazon items with crypto, at 10% or even I've seen 15% discount, then it makes Amazon items still very hard to beat.

Also, too many alternative marketplaces, so choices are made even thinner. Tough market, not sure what's the recipe for success.

We know that the journey will not be easy, but we plan on being the go-to place to buy and sell anything for cryptocurrency

Too many copied this business model of Amazon, just implied cryptocurrency technology on it.
I've known many good & legit platforms about this, and they failed their ICO, because the market is very saturated for this kinds of platform.
But if Amazon themselves will make a cryptocurrency for their "Company, Amazon', then it will be the real game changer!

Definitely a good idea, but how does it protect from hacking? Escrow system?

Also, you use blockchain technology, but it's not exactly decentralized. Appears to still be centralized management that can control what's being sold and moderate what's going on.

Yes, it is not fully decentralized, only to ensure that people are trust worthy. You need someone to hold people accountable. Yes, we have an escrow system. Your money is entirely safe and secure.
