Title: Question about trading on tokens with bounty
Post by: sidkz on November 10, 2018, 07:29:44 PM
I have a current situation, I bring some tokens with bounty to the stock exchange and try to scroll them several times, thereby increasing their number, in principle, it turns out, but my number in tokens increases, and the price of these tokens decreases, should I continue to do this? Firstly, I don’t want to stay with tokens that will not cost anything, secondly I’m afraid for example, the price has risen a little, I sell tokens so that I can buy them later at a lower price, but  that moment the price starts to grow rapidly.

You earn a good experience in the trade in tokens.
And you are doing everything right, but study in more detail the projects of your tokens - if the project develops and you think will live on then save these coins, if the project is not reliable then get rid of.
P.S. Decision you should take yourself ...

I brought 5,900 tokens from the wallet. They stood at that moment. 35 Satoshi now I have 59,000 tokens, but they have the minimum price for selling 6 Satoshi, I will not sell them, I will return them to my wallet, let them wait, the course will go up

This is simple. The value of the tokens you have bought from selling your bounty tokens and buying more has not improved since you bought them. The value of the token has dropped, so you all you've ended doing is accumulate more tokens

It is always a risk when trading on a bearish market with shitcoins that you increase their number but lose in their value if their price drop. This is why it is important to analyze the project itself and trade only with perspective coins you are confident with.

It's just simple, you should know when to takr profit. Don't be greedy, just set a target price when to sell so it won't hurt you otherwise. Yes it's kinda frustrating when you sell early yet the price is continually increasing, well this is how we play the game, either you profit by your greed or lose to it.

Your strategy is good, don't change it and just focus when will you take profit.

as long you buy and hold good token projects it doesnt matter although its value decrease.and while market recovered you asset value will increase too , so you get lot profits.

So you are trying to say that you are increasing position of your current tokens but it ends up losing it's value. I could say that you are doing it right, you exactly is doing great because you are gaining and that is a successful trade. I suggest that you trade those bounty tokens on which you know well and is potentially bullish holding it, on that way, it is more profitable for you if the market would turn bullish. You could also try Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) to get neutral when selling.

Price goes up and Downs
Don't get emotional while you trade
Always sell in profit and always buy at low price

There are a lot of coins which you can buy, don't trade in only one coin

I don't think you're doing at all. It's just a bit difficult trading in this bears season.
Always ensure you're actually buying the dip to avoid further drops in price from your entry

if indeed it is the best thing you can do as a trader strategy, but that step can sometimes not be maximal. the best step is to wait at a low price position and buy it instead of doing something to make a low price. it's risky.

Very good strategy if this coin with interesting team and technology. I believe that before selling coins from bounty is to study the project itself. Even better to study the project before participating in the bounty)) After that you will not be afraid that you will have empty and cheap coins. I would increase the amount of bitcoin and Ethereum if I were you. At the moment, these are the two main coins that will show themselves well in the long run. And it is better not to trade any slag, and to choose some coins interesting to you.

Don't hesitate to take the gamble on your trades. Tokens that has been rewarded to us from ICO bounty campaigns does not seem to have any value at first but when there is a working platform right after they hit exchanges some will dip and some will grow higher. So it is best to have you keep your calm during this time and trust the devs.

Simple. You are not for crypto currencies trading or even investing.
Why? You do not have patience at all.
Then, you do not even care about the project of the ICO you are joining in.
Solution: get out!
I dont think you are the type who can handle this at all.
Go to a feature with so much care for your money.
This is not the place for you.

Its difficult to actually spot a dip than you think most especially if we are talking about altcoins and tokens, you can day trade in the bear season but you must have a hell of capital and experience to profit from it, personal opinion for OP is that you do not trade with tokens if you are a newbie to trading to cryptocurrency, start with bitcoin and other famous altcoins, most of the tokens are not established yet due to their capital and the platforms for being developed.

Don't worry about missing out on a bigger opportunity. There are either always better ones out there you can get in or you can just be happy about the money you made. Sticking with a coin for long enough would make you either rich or poor compared to which direction it goes and instead of holding you can try to diversify.

If you spent 100 dollars for it and made 1000 with it than you can divide it into 10 other investments, even if some of them sucks there will be some that will make you money.

Making money with ICO was easy back in the day thanks to that, people realized the more things you invest into the more chances of hitting big you had. Kinda like trying to shoot arrows, you can miss your only chance but if you try 10 times one will eventually hit, at least will have a higher chance of hitting.

this is a common problem that usually occurs in cryptocurrency trading, this problem is usually caused by the market which sometimes the trading system is down suddenly.

If the price decreases, you have to know if the team is still active in developing the project or they just left it because if they are still doing what they can then there is a tendency that the price would eventually increase in the future. You would be a bag holder of that coin but if the price increases then you will have a much larger profit. You have to know the fundamentals of the coin so that you will know what to do next in the future. Your strategy is good if ever the coin will be doing good but it is disastrous if the price won't go up.

Tokens from bounty always appear very low price during the initial trading period. It is either you sell it or hold it but first do some research about the token. Research about their product or service, the whitepaper the road map and the team if they seem to have a big potential to rise. Join their telegram group so that you have a good signal if it is a good project or not. Then you decide but to tell you it takes more than six months to stabilize their price and some times their token price is still below than the offered regular ICO price per token.
