i really don't think this year will have a real bullrun i think we will see only a slight pump next year we will see a real upward pressure in the crypto market cap good luck for all

I could do with a pay day befor the years out but im happy to wait for Q1 if needs be

I agree that while there are no hints of "bullish movement"
most likely we should expect a good green market next year, and not at the beginning of the year - or perhaps by the middle
and then, it’s more hope than forecast

It's not looking like it yet because by now we should be seeing positive signs but the price of bitcoin and altcoins keep flunctuating and declining, if we are going to have bullrun this year by now there should have been a marginal and steady growth in the market but peradventure there might be a slight upward movement on the market curve

We have not heard eleven months of decline. People should come to terms with the fact that last year the price of bitcoin bubbled, for a while. And considering mining cost we, are now much closer to the real value our bitcoin.

Of course with heightened adoption I am very optimistic for another such bubble in the foreseeable future as we move towards value consolidation.

haha much too much optimism, that's what we need now, I really do not think the bull run is going to  be completed in December, the maximum we can expect is a slight increase, but this is ok, because in the end the most important thing should be mass adoption and market stabilization, make room for this new stage!

It is not just daddy that needs a new shoe oh. We the crypto hunters too even need something to crown our effort this December at least. It will encourage us going forward into 2019.  8)

Everyone here is ready for bull run because we are all in big losses and we are loosing our hopes in cryptocurrencies.
Many people are asking: do crypocurrencies have a future? will crypto replace fiat?
We need bull run as soon as possbile because if holders start selling their coins, then it would be a disaster.

Several months have passed, and it can be concluded that the crypto market has suffered a significant setback. I have not imagined at all that Bullrun will arrive this year, but indeed I have to believe it at the end of 2018. The market is often red, it's really sad.  :-[

I believe the lean times serve a purpose in weeding out the poor/bad projects and will leave genuine projects to thrive in the coming months.

LOL. I don't think there is any miracle will happen in this year :). It's only one month left till the end of this year and I don't think it's enough for this crypto market to recover. Maybe everything will be better in next year so don't hope something too good at before Chrismast if you guys don't wanna be disappointed.

I have said this without numbers that, December 2018 will be the bull run for the year.
The recent market price has make Bitcoin to rise above it support zone and almost set to go bullish.
Holders will benefit from this bull run next month.
Just looking at Bakkt launch next month for another Bull run.

Everyone wants the long awaited bull run, everyone wants it sooner than later but the fact is we do not know when exactly it will come, we can only stay positive and hope for the best, bull eun is something that can not happen with our wishes only it needs hype, fomo, positivity, momentum, volume and genuine buyer demand.

Yeh. it would be great! I believe that the new bullrun will start at the beginning of december before accepting the Bakkt. But the growth will be very short so we must be ready for selling, and after but more  ;)

Not so long ago, I also expected a bull market before the New Year. But today it seems that they want to kill all the holders. Although they are already a bit. No fuel, no new fresh money. I highly doubt a good script soon.

I'll be astonished if the whales dont have their pay day.

If we look into past, we will see that almost every year the biggest growth was in the November - December. So I am pretty optimistic about Bitcoin movement in December.

If you really look at the trend, we are still on the bull run. Just look at the each year and write down it's corresponding value, you will be surprised that still it is going higher each year. We are just blinded by btc's ath at the end of the year last year and we feel that it is going down this year. Make a research yourself of what i am saying.

I think we are already seeing the starts of a bull market but it is being very selective about which coins rise. I don't think we will see a return of 2017 where every coin went up in price. That was driven by pure hype and a lot of really dumb money being invested by unsophisticated investors. From here on in coins will rise in value mostly based on merit, which is a much healthier way for the industry. The rise won't be as quick but the bull market will be more sustainable and last a lot longer.

Wow, sounds funny and i laugh actually that daddy needs a new pair of shoes, well i am also excited for the next bullrun, because i also have the same feeling that it could actually happen this december, who knows, GOD makes a way for everything in this world. IF this happen this december, i would surely bought something wonderful for myself this christmas, but hoping it could happen also.

Do you have a solid reference about the subject? We know last year, we experienced bull run but the way I look at the market right now, it really shows that it faces difficulties. Difficulty of having its price to go higher due to some correction and probably this year it will stay at $6k plus.

Everybody here is hoping and positive, Christmas season is the time that we are all needs money but I hardly doubt we'll going to have that this month or next month the best that we can hope for is the first quarter of next year, in fact people will likely sell some of their shares for their Christmas spending.

I've waited that for a long time. I hope Christmas season will eventually retest the price of bitcoin whether it goes positive or not. But im sure im very bullish at this price.. Coz price are on sideways.

Recovery still, is not assured to happen this year. keep in mind that we are already in the month of november and yet we are not seeing any signs of increase. Given that it is not assured that the market will be showing positive marks before this year end, we should now prioritize holding and to just wait for such thing to happen. It will be safer than to sell already due to lack of hope on recovery.

In all fairness i dont mind when the market recovers, because every month its down is just another opportunity to invest.

Strong iptrend will never happen over time, its easy to do dump but making another ATH or having uptrend will take time unless were a big investor that can make it move at least.

I think the likelihood in December of the cryptocurrency market will rise rapidly to compensate for the full 2018 prices at the bottom. Knowing that can only hope, but many positive signals are showing the improvement of the cryptos rate at the end of 2018.

Nope. Not in this market. Past performance is not a good indicator here because you have to remember that this market is based on pure speculation. So its very very difficult to predict just based on its historical logs. Although we can learn some lessons here, but totally relying on its past specially last year's showing, there's no guarantee that we can have a bull run before the end of the year. So If I were you, don't expect too much so that you won't get disappointed at the end.

It's so nice to hear Xmas bull run. But, reality check shows no signs of bullish market. Though I can consider the market so positive about th current situation showing stable prices. But this is not investors wanting for, they want the hype as last year especially those who hold their coins since last year. Maybe next year, things change for the better.

There are also no signs of the bear market. Bear market characterizes with falling prices not with prices that don't go up. Stability is a sign of one market ending and another beginning. It can begin in a week or in a year though, we can't know it, but it seems that we are at the end of this year long bear market.

The chartists say final dip, some expect black swan event related to exchanges, some argue with the mining cost per BTC for a bottom at 6K and some see potential trigger for next bull with ETF approvalsor BAKKT. I do not believe in a final BTC or market dip, as the total market cap low alreaedy. BAKKT expected around 15th December so maybe potential start of some upward movement around that time. Enough fiat sitting on the fence or parked in Tether.

We just saw a small sign of the upcoming bull run. I hope we will see the raising market even before the end of the year. We just need to believe in crypto and to hold our coins, even if it is getting harder and harder every day.

Why so? I think after the launch of Bakkt, we will see a fairly good take-off in the market, large investors will move after such an event.

2018 is a bad year for cryptocurrency...

I understand that the market need to move up together instead of one selected project but what I think is responsible for this is the increase in number of exist scam. A lot of projects in the space have no active development under it and soem that do, have no user, which is becoming a concern because we need to adoption to come to the space

For sure bull run will occur this 1Q of next year. As I have notice, most of the bounty extended until december end this year. So have a feeling that bull run happen this december but payment will be january probably. So lets keep patient until the time of payment come.

I think you should not wait for the growth of cryptocurrency this winter. Now half a month has passed. Cryptocurrencies do not grow. At the beginning of the year there will be changes.

I think next year about high bullish news is still predictable, indeed, when reflecting from the beginning of last year, the development is very good. but that cannot be used as an assumption that the market will improve again at the beginning of the new year

I believe that we really need to have this kind of positivity. We should have a better way of thinking towards cryptocurrency and our holdings. Things will get better soon so we have to have a positive mind. Good days are coming and we should keep believing.

I do not agree with you. I think that Bakkt will help trigger a small rally, but I don't expect it to reverse the bear market into a bull market anytime soon. One thing that this year has taught everyone in the cryptocurrency market is the fact that it is best not to depend entirely on this market for your livelihood. It makes sense to invest into popular cryptocurrencies for long term profits, but expecting short term profits like in 2017 is silly since that year was an exception and not the norm. 2019 could be different when compared to 2018 if the ETF proposal finally gets approved.

Having that as a basis isn't enough to say it will be on Q1 since we already saw some ICOs that extend their sale until this last quarter but nothing happened and since they running for more than half of the year they leave no choice but to end their sale or else their investors will lose their patience.

Why do you think that on Christmas everything will change? As I know on holidays usually we see low volume and lower price.

I think it's too good to be true to have a bullrun this Christmas. It's just one year after the mega bull last year. For the bullrun we may have to wait until 2020 and halving. But of course I hope we will get it asap. However also keep in mind that the more time we have to wait for the bull, the stronger bull will happen.

Yeah, Cristmas can affect on market performing as well as the end of the year, because manegers of huge funds tend to be more profitable by the end of the year in order to get bonuses.
So there might be a positive trend in the end of this year.

I don't think there will be another bull run this year. A slight increase on price will happen before the end of the year. The bear market has been on going for too long and it can make an investor think twice beforw putting their money to crypto. I think it also one of the reason why the demand for crypto will not be as high as last year.

I also hope in some fresh money flowing into cryptocurrency markets. Volume and volatility has calmed for a few weeks and it is usually a sign of a run in the future (bull or bear, it is just guessing). I think we will see some cashing out to fiat before Christmas by the way  :(

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that this year there will not be a bull market on the cryptocurrency market.  Perhaps growth will only be next autumn. As far as I know, after about three months the manager Mt.Gox will sell bitcoins and this will not lead to the growth of the crypto market. I could be wrong.

I think there are no more bull run because it didn't even reached it's stable value in the market of any currency and I think it will recover it's value after the end of the year unlike the other year that has really a great increase when it started last November, But still we can predict it maybe it will increase the value soon.

I don't think that there is going to be any kind of christmas bull run. Are you seeing the market right now? The coins are suffering so much because the price of bitcoin keeps falling. Now the best thing to do would be to just resign ourselves to the fact that there will not be a bull run for a long time and wait for the next one in a couple of years

It is difficult for us all to determine whether Xmas Bull can happen. Because i am watching the crypto market move in bad condition. Perhaps the recovery will be very long for Bitcoin and the Altcoins.

The market has lost momentum to push further yesterday and from there clash to the level that we are now praying for bitcoin to get above $7000 before end of December.  Bitcoin needs over $800 to be able to get to were it was yesterday morning.  I think we need to encourage ourself and keep holding and for those that are dumping you are part of those that are killing this market.  Most of us here buy bitcoin above $10,000 and if you because of what is happening now and dumped then you are going to regret and loses at the same time.  Xmas bull run is out of place! Maybe next year.

Who bought some altcoins six months ago now made a profit. Although bitcoin fell in price, but the price of altcoin remained at the same level. And now is the time to merge everything.

I think that nothing positive will happen. There will be no last year's cryptocurrency fever. The most positive thing that can happen is stability, and prices stay at current elevations.

I think we won't see such thing this year. Unlike last year where bullrun really took place, the market situation is at its worst this year. The market value of cryptos continuously fell to the point that many coins are now considered as dead due to lack of recovery and due to having small market volume. zthe days remaining won't be enough for the recovery to happen. If there will be an increase, I am expecting that it'll be next year and not this year.

It is hard to believe that there will be a bull run at the end of the year. Just as what happen to the market where all the coins are just keep bouncing up and down like this.

Personally I believe that we will see 10000 dollars per bitcoin to the new 2019 year. So I have bought some BTC for the 5500 and now I'm waiting from a growth!

My intuition tells me that until the end of the year we will not see a significant increase in BTC. I think growth will be only in the second half of 2019.

I really don't think that the bull run was possible this year. Because mid november is on its way and still no progress on the prices. And it is getting worst due to the dump price of bitcoin, ethereum and any other popular coins. Better to just hold your bags and just wait for the next year. I do not think that all of them will cashout to buy things for this xmas as many of them have their whole life investment in the crypto. If in the coming month some good thing not happened then this xmas will be bad for many of people. I think SEC need to care for these people and have to approve the ETF to make this xmas more delight.

I cannot see any bull run expected this year, especially with all the whales cashing out for the Xmas holidays, New Year and Asians cashing out big time for the Chinese New Year in early FEB. I expect maybe end of 2019 going into 2020 to be slightly a better time for crypto hodlers. Now do not expect any miracles. I want 2018 to be out and want a better year to come along, this year was a disaster for us.

I think there are only price spikes or short uptrend but not a bullrun because the price of the bitcoin is still declining. Year 2018 is very different if you compare it to 2017, which is year of the bullrun. Prior to the year 2017, no one had ever predicted exactly that bullrun would happen in that year so it is better to continue holding your coins till the recovery start. The holiday season will also make it more impossible for the bullrun to happen because most of the people are in spending mood.

It is not possible, we need to fix first all the scam and fraud project if you want the real bull run. Next year is a good time to clean those dirty things that damage not only bitcoin but also the whole crypto currency community.

All of us wants a great month of December because its holiday we need some good earnings of profit but still experiencing the bearish market.  But I think its alright if there's no bull run for this year we can make a profit or earnings in different way.

Look at the graphs of the cryptocurrencies. I do not see that they are falling all the time or rising. Zigzags prompt us: the market will be extremely volatile for some more time. Xmas will not affect the crypto prices much.

Many chinese would believe that it's better to have something when the year starts rather than nothing so I guess the trade will restart in March but who knows like last year the pump started in December.

I would say that pump started in august, just before bch fork. We are just retracing to that pre fork price.

Everyone is ready for some positive growth, but I do not really see the market recovering as much as people want what we are going to see is the price is going to remain close to the current levels, I would prefer to give a more positive prediction but that is really what I believe will happen, if you want to see real growth you will need to wait for a few months for that to happen.

I am tired and sick of seeing the crypto market go down everyday.. Everytime I open my blockfolio and check the price of my eth and altcoins it made me ruin my day ! I didn't see any green colors since november all I see is bloody red and now ETH is 100$ below.. I am afraid that it will be 10$ by the end of the year ! It will not grow as you want. It may even go down further because there are many investors who want to sell their money to spend the Xmas holiday.
Do not expect too much on a pump. It's been a long time. We should only trade every day to get some capital.

But if the SEC will care for the xmas and for the people who want to celebrate the xmas happily then they can help. Based on what happened last I believe that's the main reason why they think it will still happen. I believe in that as well honestly earlier this year but as we move forward this year in reality it will not happen and something needs to happen like a very positive news that will trigger a bull run.

I waited since Q2 hoping for bull run until BTC went down and down. This is not FUD but in reality there would be no bull run this coming Christmas. The only regret that I have is that I should've played my portfolio I should've sell when it was high then buy now. That's fine because there's a chance of getting returns by next year.

Indeed. I also personally don’t expect any bull run in next months, even till 2020. Beside some bull traps, I think the current correction phase will take longer than expected. That's why this month we will most likely face a bull trap instead of xmas bull run.

Maybe dad will have to walk around in old shoes for the time being, because an active bull trend may not be as active as many people see it, although I also hope that by the end of the year we will see significant improvements.

The market doesn’t seem to have the energy for bull run atm. The recent good news can’t move the market much. Perhaps, we have to wait until 2019 for bull run to come.

I personally think that it is rather foolish to give Christmas a subliminal message something like "X-mas means crypto bullrun". When it does not happen it just gives persons, who bought in hopes that IT WILL HAPPEN during the Christmas, just some headache and regret.

Just because it indeed happened last Christmas doesn't mean it will repeat itself! Just buy in hopes of the bull run, not with the idea that it will take place during some certain time.

There's got to be an uptrend soon, but there is very little sign of it at the moment. The only comfort really is that the market always tends to overshoot, down as well as up, which suggests that maybe when we recover the prices will rise quite quickly.

This time last year bitcoin was at it pick and this year December bitcoin is at the bottom and if care is not taking it will still be going down.  I think we should not expect great change at the current price as bull run has been rule out of the equation.

Well we have been holding on quite good. Steady upward trend for 2 days now. Slow but i like it, if it can hold loke this and continues the path upward ls we can have that Christmas bull run after all. Far from the confirmation of a bull but from thise decline you should have some profits by now.

Even if how hard we want the market to go bull run again. I think there is no bull run this year. We cannot control the movement in the market.  And what will be its price in the coming days.

This is something many struggle to ever get, just because we want the market to go up that does not mean that it will happen, we cannot let our wants and desires to cloud our judgment, while I would like for the price to go up I can see that will not happen soon and that I will need to hold my coins for months or maybe even years before I recover my money.

We've had these little jumps the whole way down. All the people who bought high and got burnt probably aren't stupid enough to do that again so soon.

Who ever bought in last low then he is in good profit and i dont think that it will move more up. the max we can see is $4500 level and then their we will see selling pressure from the traders who bought in low to cash out the profit.

We have been happy though $3,00 was the possible bottom and we are striving to enter another price level at $5,000. We've are totally happy to see this progress rather than stuck and continuous to drop.

I am not convinced about the current situation of the price because previously the price of bitcoin is at 6000$ and now the price is above 4000$ still 2000$ backlog in the market. We shouldn't consider it as bull run just wait until the price is bitcoin is crossed more than 6000$.

We do not want giant leaps for now, it might cause people to believe that it is a manipulated pump. It is much better this way. First we surpassed $3,500 and then breaking $3,800 and finally $4,000.
