I am very new to all the Bitcoin and altcoin talk and do like reading all about it..from where it all started to how it was all developed so if any of you have good articles that I should read or that u think is relatively important that I could read It would be greatly appreciated thanks for all the help

May be a bit much in the beginning but provides good context on where Bitcoin was coming from and what ideas ultimately led to its inception.

It started in 2009, satoshi invented bitcoin, then low-class programmers started to copy-paste it naming it differently. Thats how alt-coins were "invented".
I would recommend all andreas antonopolous videos about bitcoin in youtube.
I would recommend good bitcoin documentaries, fun and easy way to learn basics.

I'm a total newbie and really need to read up all I can on cryptocurrency.  I'm going to follow this thread too. The more information the better.

Definitely having knowledge of how the bitcoin came about,will enable one thrive on the system,i really want to share links for you to read up about,but that has already been done by the posters ahead of me, you can also watch numerous YouTube videos about the bitcoin,they are really innumerable..

History more often than not,sets the pace and lays the ball rolling for users on this system,it always comes in handy to get to know stuffs relating to the history of the bitcoin and the blockchain technology,it shows willingness to learn and be of help to the forum..
Also one very important aspect about history,is that from it,we learn a lot about the mistakes people made in the past,and it helps us to shape our own mindset in order to avoid such mistakes

I'm also a newbie in crypto world but i already spent much time to read and learn about bitcoin. It's so much helpful than juts stand wait for other's help.
