I saw last two years all cryptocurrency market get downed in middle of year to 4th Qtr. After end of year all coins prices was up with BTC and ETH. any idea about this year new cycle will come or not?

Yes i belive also this year will come good crypto cycle and all top coin prices get largest values. So now good times to get valuble top coins at lowest price.

It has been like this and one can not accurately said what has been happening at the end of each year.  Cryptocurrencies market get more fund flow in at the end of each year and I think this year is another time to watch over.  The history of the market has shown that bitcoin do pump at the end of the year and that is what matters.

Couple with the so much government regulations that faced the crypto market this year ,2018, market performance was very poor compared to the previous years,however we are highly hopeful that the market will recover at this last quarter of 2018.

Last of 2017 was not so good as before December ends the price went down and continue to fall until now.

2017 isn't included but I also saw it on 2016 and the rest is history. I'm not confident that this year will be the same like the bull run of 2017.

It's unlikely so don't be discouraged if most of the predictions aren't good to our ears. But there's a hope that it can reach back to $10,000 first then $15,000 next.

Predictions keep failing this time around. The bull run will come like a thief in the night, the best time to brace up is now. 2017 was extremely good for crypto in general, 2018 came with a lot of Scam ICOs and FUDs including other awful factors causing serious dips. Let's be positive, the future is bright for crypto.

I don't think we will see a bull market until spring 2019. A lot of money got invested in cryptocurrency hedge funds in the 4th quarter of 2017 and the 1st quarter of 2018. Most of those investments are subject to a 1 year lock in period. As investors start being able to redeem their investments the hedge funds will need to raise cash by selling coins. Those won't start to slow until the 2nd quarter of 2019.

I think the cycle cannot be a guideline to ensure future value and of course all investors know that conviction and patience are the main capital in investing with crypto currencies

Last year is the best year of BTC that the market is really booming specially at the start of the 4th quarter but now i see really different that we should expect a bullish run for the early 4th Q but the result is opposite in which the market continue to fall. Hopefully that there is a little miracle for the next month of December.

That's the problem for a while there's no new investors with this current situation around the market, we all expect that there's some good hype before the year end as how the previous year but looking at the moment it's really far from what most of us specualte and expect, though the year is not end yet there's still one more months or it will come next coming years.

The past success is not an indication of future succes.  I think many norm have already been broken in this year.  Bitcoin was relatively stable and this month,  we saw different market situation that bought down bitcoin price to almost 50% within a week!  I am not optimistic about the rest of this year,  let see how 2019 cryptocurrency prices will unfold!

Nowadays, we can not expect anything in Crypto, because there is big conflict between Crypto whales, that what brought the price down while everyone was expectibg it to rise in November. Altcoins usually move when Bitcoin price is stable, which does not look the case here, some people are talking about $3600 as the bottom, and others say we have already bottomed out.

I also thought that 2018 would be the same as 2017 that everything would better at the end of the year but seem like I was wrong, maybe we need to wait till next year, 2019. I think a new circle created, 1 year dump, 1 year pump, It's just my prediction but seem like it'll come true.

Everything depends on decisions of the governments of the developed countries. If there is a full recognition and regulation of the market and protection against swindlers - the market will go up.

Update as of 11/12/18, yesterday, the price of bitcoin is at 3800dollars and now its situation is currently green. There might be a chance that the increase will going to continue and the bullmarket will now going to approach the market very soon.

There are many disappointment I saw at social media. Most of them are scared to invest today. They thought that it is the end of cryptocurrency not knowing that there is a cycle in market. Even in our economy, there is always a cycle. If the growth of economy cannot be controlled, inflation may occur. We are in cycle of ups and downs, what we need to do is go to the flow of market and adapt every change happens in our society.

I think it will be very difficult for the market to recover at the end of this year, I cannot predict but I believe that at the beginning of next year crypto prices will begin to crawl up and slowly recover.

there is no definite theory that can be applied in the growth of this crypto value. but if you refer to the previous crypto price chart, yes in Q4 everything will rise again which means next month is the end of Q4 before finally starting next year for Q1.

I notice the market pattern as well but no one can tell you for sure whether the market will recover.  IMO, I do think market will start to recover in Dec 2018 or Jan 2019 since Bakkt is scheduled to launch in Jan 2019.

There's no new cycle found and the market just go the way we aren't expecting. Too many people sell of their crypto's all for their own reasons and that's not just those people that we are calling as panic sellers but I came to knew it that, they are somehow can be considered as big holders.

I don't think so and that can't be used as a benchmark for the increase in the price of coins at the end of the year. all we have to know is that crypto is volatile where prices can change significantly over time without us knowing it. so it's difficult to predict but can be predicted even though there is little chance that the prediction will be successful.

There is no reason for the cryptocurrency's price and market value including the market cap to fell down much more and at worst, to banish. Crypto is strong, it is backed with a strong technology that makes it invulnerable to attacks and it grows as time pass by.

There is no doubt that cycles exist. The problem is that these cycles have different deadlines. They are not tied to the calendar. Just some events affect the next turn of the spiral. And these events can occur with different frequency. They depend on many factors that are difficult to predict :P

Last time there was a major crash, it took btc a full two years to recover.
That means, no end of the year pump, no gradual growth, nothing.

I don't think this cycle will come this year, because it's already the end of the year, but there is no movement if the crypto market will rise. instead it continues to decline. don't know what made this storm last so long. maybe this is a new cycle from the crypto market, we just wait until everything gets better.

Crypto actually doesn't follow any cycle that is the first thing we have to keep in mind in order not to deceive ourselves. Taking a particular pattern does not make it a cycle. This year might be different, i am expecting things to change in the first quarter of next year.

I think that no one can predict the future of a cryptocurrency cycle, but the fact that all cycles are regularly updated is for sure! Cryptocurrency will develop and improve independently of anyone.

Crypto cycles are not on yearly basis and we cannot compare what happened last year with this year, because it is irrelevant.
Some patterns can repeat from the past but it is no guarantee that they will happen.

Crypto basically will not be predicted and fluctuations continue to happen every time. for the last quarter is indeed everything is falling but whether there is a high rise after that then things cannot be ensured. For those who don't know how to assess and play this market much better to quit as early as now, there's still a lots of twist and this volatile market will continue, but for those who's willing to keep moving forward and still have a lots of courage to continue supporting and can wait for much longer term, those who can buy and hold and wait till they reached their target profits to achieved will be the gainers, its needed to be well practiced and well analyze as we can go broke quickly but also can be a huge earners after some time of waiting.

In 18th of December 2017 the bitcoin has arrived its biggest numbers with $18.700 and after that it has arrived to $3.850 (today). I believe that the year endings and beginings the coin prices could have big changes. But we can't really guess higher or lower. But as i say the changes happens. And i am waiting a new change with the 2019. I wish that this time the market goes up not down..
