Did you expect to get merits for your bounty entries and "reserved" posts? Because that's 99% of all you did this whole time.

You only got this merit because you managed to actually post something forum-discussion-like once after a whole year.

I think you are somehow confused between merit and activity.
Your activity will increase depends on time and posting.
Merit is not related to how much time you were in the forum, it's a reward for high quality posts. You don't need merit unless looking for to rank-up.
My account is older than yours and didn't receive any merit

In your profile, click the merit link (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=1319477) to show your sent received merits for the last 120 days.

You should read this topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2766177.0

Merit is given by specific people to posts who bring value to the community. Creating a topic like this is not bringing value to anyone. A better way to formulate this would have been to ask how merit is earned and say that you just received your first merit and want to find out why. This will not solve the problem of value to the community, since answers to this questions is found in the forum, but at least it will not look like spam.

1 year = 1 merit?
Absolutely not. It depends on the user. Actually, it took you just 10 months to get your first merit since merit system has been implemented lasy January but I think you are lucky to get your first merit. Unfortunately, there are many users here who doesnt have even 1 merit because.... no need to say because many knows it already :).

Anyway, congrats on getting your first merit. There is no need to create a thread about it or you're driven by your happiness that's why you created this thread.

Your post NELUNS.IO - is scam? or legit project? NLS (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5048896.msg46786043#msg46786043) is the post that got you your first merit on the forum.
And it came from tmfp (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=351569) who is a renowned member on the forum.

I make registration in 13.11.2017 and now is one year for me on forum, and its possible? 1 year = 1 merit?
You actually registered on 16 November, 2017. And there is no relationship between year(s) on the forum and merit awarding.

I've put you on ignore to make sure that I don't give you any merit by mistake.  Here are the reasons for this.

- Imagine the state of this board if every member started a thread about their first merit. Especially as with your post count, one merit is something to be ashamed of, not something to boasr about.
- You quoted a long post, and this was not needed, and annoying. Not only that, but you requoted it with a redundant comment.
- In my opinion the merited post wasn't worth it, and you drew attention to the awarder.
- This thread appears to have been started in an apparent attempt to gain more merit, but it has probably been counter productive.

I don't think he started this thread to earn more merits. Looking at his post history and the fact that he has purchased copper membership, that's basically enough for him to participate in a signature campaign. I'm sure he was just shocked to see somebody leave a merit, lol he knows it's once in a lifetime type of thing.

@Locotoni if you didn't full quote other people's posts, you could have earned yourself another merit.  :D

Yeah, I gave him a merit for what I saw as a decent first attempt at analyzing a probable scam, fucking shoot me.

I've put you on ignore to make sure that I don't give you any merit by mistake.  Here are the reasons for this.
I don't put anyone on ignore, just on a mental list. You've been on it for weeks.

It isn't necessary for you to have an opinion about everything.

Or maybe he's just happy about getting recognized thru a merit award?
Now he understands how he got it (if he can be bothered to sift thru the sarc and censure to get an answer to his simple question) maybe he'll make a few more attempts at posting something informative.

Over the span of time, there will be some arguement based on the opinion on sending sMerits. I may think one post deserves merit while others will not.
Anyway, I think OP deserves to be merited on that ICO review post while this thread is quite unnecessary. Lots of people are getting merit and if everybody creates a thread, meta will just be flooded with unnecessary posts which will definitely not look better.

Everyone has personal views and from that point anyone can put an user to his ignore list. AFAIK, I am also in Jet Cash's ignore list just because I had created a thread kinda sMerit giveaway which perhaps JC didn't like. So, it happens. He didn't enjoy my posts = welcome to his ignore list.

I can respect that, and that's basically what Theymos wants (merit sources, at least, and I don't know if you're one) people to do for newbie posts--give them merits if they're essentially just "good" posts.  His post about the NELUNS.IO scam thing met that criteria, but I probably wouldn't have given him a merit for his OP here.  But it's your merit and your judgement and I won't criticize you for that.

OP isn't on track to becoming one of the highest merit-earning accounts by any means, but it does sound like he's very happy with the one merit he got prior to starting this thread and maybe this'll be incentive for him to improve his posts.  I don't really have a problem with threads like this, because they might motivate noobs who are otherwise stuck in shitpost-mode.  It's a long shot I know, but it could happen.

The OP really isn't quite knowledgeable on the forum, and he sums it up with this:
haw can i see my post with merit?
His initial merited thread was definitely worth the merit, and for someone with low knowledge about the forum, and who hadn't earned any merits hitherto, his ecstasy drove him to start up this thread, and considering the fact it's in meta and about merits I do not see anything wrong with it

Neither do I see anything wrong with the merit it got, merits have been handed out for memes far worse than this

Great, the forum is in perfect shape and there are no problems to discuss in Meta so we can dedicate ourselves to the... uhm... merits of sending one merit to a noob.

Yes, I understand the hypocrisy of myself posting here but FFS... stop micromanaging the damn merits.

Everyone now go here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0 and report 15 shitposts as a penance.

When you quote other people, think about doing that in future, it makes things easier to read and the Anal Retentive Squad leave you alone (don't put that thru Google translate).
Anyway, you're welcome to the merit(s), but if you turn out to be a spammer/scammer I will find you and take them back with a pair of pliers and a soldering iron.

Ok, one more thing to learn for you today. Look down in the left corner of the screen: you'll see
