Title: Here since 2013/2014?
Post by: ZhuldyzKaladinova on November 14, 2018, 02:20:47 PM
I'm interested in asking a simple question to 2013/2014 forum members.

The question is:

Do you hold more or less BTC than back then?

I have less ;D but I have no regrets.  A lot of positive things have happened to me over the years.

To be honest in 2013 I would not have imagined that my own mother hears about Bitcoin from mainstream media in 2017, without me telling her about it. That was a huge surprise and sort of a reality check.

I started working in bitcoin from 2014 last quarter but same as i was earning through faucet so the earnings were less and most of it i use to gamble in dice so i almost lost everything until i came to this forum and start earning good i started to save some portion of my earning and balance i convert them to fiat currency and use it. So i dont hold high today.

Do you hold more or less BTC than back then?

I am here since 2014. And I started with absolute 0. And the first ones I had were altcoins. Bitcoin (actually Satoshi) came a lot later.
My funds grew and fallen over time. I didn't get rich, but my life certainly got easier.

So for your answer: I started at 0, so I certainly have more. But not significantly more...

for this topic to become useful you may have to also explain why you have less! for example was it the Mt Gox scam that made you lose your bitcoin or was it other mistakes?
also i am curious whether "having less" means something like you had 100BTC and not have 99BTC or something like you had 2 and now have 0.1 :D

I have a lot less than what I had back then, because I sold some when the Bitcoin price hit $19,000+ in 2017. I just could not

resist to sell some, when the price skyrocketed. I am not sad about that decision, because it helped me to cover some debt

that I had at the time. I am in a much better place now and I also have disposable cash monthly for Bitcoin purchases.  ;)

Timing is everything in this business.  ::)

Suppose this thread is exclusively for senior members who were in this forum back on 2013.
What about the new comers who think we are too late for we missed a lot of opportunities to buy?
Sorry for dropping my opinion 'coz I just want to know your point of this thread? How could it help us?

Too late? Changed your mindset. You have lots of reasons to believed that bitcoin price will soon meet your expectation of "desired price".

You can considered this thread as reference but not to the point that all statements you will read here should help you. It's out of the context. Help yourself and you can still ride the current trend. Even those 2017 or 2018 peepz missed lots of opportunities in terms of buying bitcoin because we all don't know what will happened in the future.

Now if you understand the risks once you put money on crypto, then just move forward without hesitation.

I'm red faced that I do not own any bitcoin's as yet.
Am new to the cryotocurrency sphere and trying to understand the concepts and ideas behind this projects. While experimenting with a few coins earned through ICOs.

I definitely own less than I did before, but I've also diversified my investments over many different altcoins.
Just from spending Bitcoins pretty regularly and cashing out into fiat. I do try to use Bitcoin as a payment method, like every time I order food through Takeaway.com for example.

I also have no regrets, I sold a bunch when Bitcoin was at an ATH, so I've definitely made my "profit" already.

had a nice hoard then. still have a nice hoard.... i say i have more now.

trading is fun and accumulated more. and due to the greatness of deflation i can spend some while accumulating and not feel a loss. basically living off the interest/profits of trading/deflation and not touching the hoard, just adding to it via trading

(no i dont trade my hoard. just some play stash amount. and i just keep grabbing lots of 1-5% waves.. i dont wait and pray for FOMO moons or lambo spikes(100-300%).. i just day play small percentages that add up)

"1% a day keeps the 3x a year at play" .. no greed, no risk, no emotion

Been here since 2014, I have less than what I had back then but still I feel thankful and felt no regtets knowing that I built myself a business that's booming. I bought bitcoin since April 2014 and sold May-July 2017, for $2900 a piece. Went a little greedy and bought again August 2017 and got lucky, sold everything December 2017 and never looked back for a while. Right now I'm accumulating the stash again hoping for some profits long-term sincr I rarely trade now.

I'm with Bitcoin since 2013 and in 2014 joined the forum. It's quite long period of time if I look at it now.
I've been in good and bad times involved with Bitcoin and I feel no regretts, although not every my move and decision was right and I didn't always made profit.
But I never invested in anything else but Bitcoin and I don't have such intentions.
And any time you join Bitcoin community it's not too late, you always have your chances.

I read about the experienced of other's here in the forum that way back 2014 bitcoin by that time was below 500$ and it went down to 200$ if I am not mistaken, then after that incidents in just a couple of months bitcoin all of sudden jumped up to 800$ then I think every week it increased more and more until it reached 1500$ but I'm not exactly sure if this year happened in that price.

This should be your succour actually because I think very few who had much of the coin at that time would have believed that it will turn their lives into riches and affluence. For your life to have been better as you have testified means you have actually been better off.

i have been around since 2014 and i have to say that i am glad that i have more both money and bitcoin compared to before mainly because i am both accumulating and profiting from some trades and then sell some usually on peaks which gives me the fiat profit while i still accumulate more bitcoin.
that has always been my goal, to own a large sum of bitcoin before we reach mass adoption. i have not yet reached my goal but i am on a good track.
