Title: Theymos, help me, please!
Post by: macartem_3 on November 15, 2018, 07:26:58 PM
Hello, dear administrators and moderators of the forum. I am a regular user of the forum since 2016. All of this time forum gave me joy, and I tried to be useful forum. But today You have made me very sad. You blocked the most expensive thing I had, my account (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=855962)! I am 100% sure that this is some kind of mistake, and I ask you to deal with it.

Is this your first ban?

I dont see a timeframe for the ban so it appears permanent. This cod brings related to plagiarism, did you copy and post any content?

There's a thread where plagiarism is reported check for your name there to start.

Its really sad about your account but the forum is very fair on issues like this probably you must have broken one or more of the forum rules

And you account being ban is a wrong assumption it's you the owner of the account that is banned from the forum to protect the interest of other member and the forum. Well you can appeal to the stated email

If you translated something and didn't quote the source this would also be considered plagiarism, especially if it's made to look like original work.

This was the thread I was talking about.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.0

Check if your there. Sometimes a mod wha can see the ban details will come along and show you the post that resulted in the ban

If you are not mentioned in that thread, it means that someone has reported one (or more) of your posts, and mods decided to ban you because of breaking the forum rules.
Please read about ban evasion too, in order not to break the rules again.

It is forbidden by forum rules?

What you did to be banned was forbidden by forum rules.

This is just another example of why you should stay banned.

I did not plagiarism

I'll take that bet. 5 BTC, let's ask Vod to escrow, ok?

Sorry, i don't understand, what do you mean?

It's a bet (wager). I'm offering a way for you to make a quick profit. You send your 5 BTC to escrow. I send my 5 BTC to escrow. If I can't prove e.g. in 24 hours that you plagiarized a post you'll get 10 BTC (your 5 BTC plus my 5 BTC). Sounds like a great deal for you since you "did not plagiarism". Except if you're lying then I get your 5 BTC. So what's it gonna be?

If the amount is too small - let me know. I can make a special deal for you and dig up my cold wallet.

This is a very large amount for me. I don't have that kind of money, and I never have...
But I can say with confidence that I am not engaged in plagiarism!

Mortgage your house then. Sell the car or the wife or both. Borrow from a loan shark. You can double 5 BTC in 24 hours. Much confidence such profit.

OMG, looking through the original account's (macartem) posts, it's obvious he was a chronic and blatant shitposter who contributed nothing to bitcointalk except wasting the time of anyone who actually read any of his posts.  Now I don't know if this is a ban for plagiarism or not, but I'm hoping it's permanent.  The forum needs to be purged of members like this.

But I can say with confidence that I am not engaged in plagiarism!
Yeah well, we'll see what happens when a mod shows up or someone else with evidence of that.  Seems like every plagiarizer makes a similar statement about how they never copy/pasted anything and don't understand how they could have been banned.

All of this time forum gave me joy, and I tried to be useful forum.
Aside from the atrocious grammar, your emotional appeal isn't going to do you any favors--and since I did look through your posts I'm coming to a very different conclusion about how useful you tried to be.  Perhaps for yourself though bounties, but certainly not useful to anyone else here.

@macartem_3 Don't mortgage your house you will lose this bet. Mods usually delete posts which are copy-pasted and I'm pretty sure that the post you have been banned for is in a locked mega thread called: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency?

I bet one merit that suchmoon is the one who reported you. :P

Both are currencies. Bitcoin is a digital currency and other local currencies we are using is normal currency with which we can purchase or do anything we need. As bitcoins is a digital currency, we can only shop or do anything only online. We can shop around and do more things online. But with other local currencies, we can do more / lot where we live.

That looks like merit abuse.   adonay72 may or may not be your alt, but none the less the two accounts have obviously favored each other when spreading merit.

I spent a little time looking for plagiarism, and haven't found it yet...  (operative word: YET)

And as I was writing rickbig41 posts this:
