hello gpu hulders,

what you think about GPU mining? what is future?
which will your favorite coin for mining after ethereum.

Depending on your hardware-purchasing price and your electricity price GPU-mining is not necessarily dead - just go for the for your GPU most profitable coin.

i turned off my GPUs, becouse now is so bad time, energy cost is more then income, and i have this question to, which isyour favorite GPU mineable coin?

You will only know when a coin is really profitable to mine when Bitcoin has reached the floor. Mining is no more profitable. Except paying more electricity, you won't earn anything.
If you still believe that crypto coins can reach a very high value, it is maybe good to mine as it is more easy to mine coins now. But you will have to sell them at a very very high price to expect a gain.

I'm just planning to start building GPU mining rigs soon but it seems that its not yet time for me. The market condition doesn't fit to me right now but I'm reading a lot of miners suggestion that the next coin would be Monero.

There's still future in GPU mining (altcoin mining), this is affected by the market but it doesn't mean that its going to fall. You just need to sustain your electricity bill from another source, so right now mine and hold.

I think that mining on a graphics processor is not a profitable business in the future. I wonder how to change the eth after the implementation of ethereum 2.0

What do you think in the future, mining will only be from ASIC?

Yes, mining is going to be only for ASICs. There is some coins with special algorithm to make them anti-ASICs like Ravencoin or using Monero algorithm. But with Monero, they have to fork the coin after x months.
It makes them wasting time on development just for making their coins anti-ASICs.
I think POS or DPOS are better than mining coins. Maybe in the future there will be no more mining.

Depending maybe on your country, because here in our country. Electricity will surely > your profit margin.

Mining have not been profitable in this year,  bear market have created a downtrend on the prices of notable cryptocurrency that was once profitable.  I also think ICO phenomenon on platform like Ethereum is making mining on obsolete!

Of course you will not get any profit if you are mining ETH, BTC or other major cryptocurrency right now.
because their difficulty is too much for our little mining rig to handle, that is why you need to consider mining a new reborn project or a project in its early stage using your GPU.
there are a lot of 'good' project in term of profit out there, such as SUQA, RVN and something that will come in a few days later (VEIL).

Now with the help of the GPU, I am mining a very promising Gentarium (GTM) - [PoW/MN] | Masternode hosting platform | Shared MN service

I think ETH will go to POS and all miners will end. I expect that in 2019.

It is essential that the next coin you pick is asic resistant, this is why monero is being predicted to be the next big thing. It's hovering in and out of the top 10, but so far it is the number 1 privacy coin

You are saying the truth. Many small miners had already closed their operation and shifted focus all because the profitability is not there anymore and it can just be a big waste of time and money to further pursue this business model. This can be another symptom that there is so many things wrong with this industry and that we can be in for a big revolution...instead of it revolutionizing things it can be facing inward and face the changes. The future remains good for this industry but going there can be a lot chaotic and painful for many (including me).

With this kind of market situation, I think Asics producers need to buy ethereum or bitcoin in large quantities so that prices rise and miners are interested in increasing their capacity

It should be altcoin that use POW. Ethereum POS and miners will be dead and i waiting for that moment. The coin can be mined easily right now. Remember when BTG dominated by ASIC and it was doing hardfork to implement ASIC resistant and asic is really bad and all of GPU miners will be dead in the future. We need asic resistant.

Extraction of the ETH has become non-payable, now about the mining while you can forget. If you return to the level of $ 200, you still have to work at a small loss, and if you take something else, then this is monero.

and which pool is your favorite?

but i think so, now 80-90% GPU miners are working on ETH, when ETH will stop GPU mining, all miners go to work on other coins, and profits will down with other coins to. becouse.... more miner = low profit
