Title: Tradeogre hacked?
Post by: Slickmole on November 27, 2018, 05:00:26 PM
Hello, I want to share one actual problem I have with tradeogre.
Today when I tried to log in into my account on tradeogre, my password dosen't work.. After few minutes, when I've tried different passwords, I`ve tried to reset.
No email regarding my password reset..well, after this I've tried to register again, with the same email address I had it before.
Guess what? it works.
So, I`m on tradeogre from few months, and farming haven.. Last time when I`ve cashout, was 2 weeks before.  Until today, I had like 35-38$ in btc.
Thanks to the one who hack them, now I have a new account, on the same email address and with 0$ in btc.

This is my old address: hvi1aCqoAZF19J8pijvqnrUkeAeP8Rvr4XyfDMGJcarhbL15KgYKM1hN7kiHMu3fer5k8JJ8YRLKCah DKFgLFgJMYAfnJy66kWQ5jpcSHyrZH
So you can see since when i`m on the tradeogre.

I`ve tried to contact them on twitter.. in 7 hours, not even one answer.
Who else have the same problem, today? >:(

Unbelievable! Why would anyone use this site? These guys are straight-up unprofessional and shady乁( ͡ಠ ʖ̯ ͡ಠ)ㄏ

Go and have a read at this thread here: TradeOgre (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3105505.0)

But to sum it up, it has a lot of red flags, wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be scam. Can't believe they don't have any TOS, privacy policy and support page cause thats the basic. Not to mention, shit-tier site and there's literally 0 information about who's behind it.

I would strongly suggest to never use it again after this. As for your problem, nothing you can do except to wait or follow up the problem again by sending another dm in case you have waited long but as I have said earlier, this exchange is shady!

I've used tradeorge a good bit , my account was hacked on my end , and they refunded me my funds without a problem , and never had any problems with there services

Pffft. Why would they refund you if the hacking was your fault? If its true, they are basically giving money and that's not how you do business. I would never trust my money to ppl who doesn't carry their common sense 24/7.

Exactly. It makes no sense at all, because it would only stimulate more people to "lose" their funds and claim a refund. On top of that, TradeOgre isn't even financially capable of refunding people with how little (probably closer to zero) profit they make. It costs more to dedicate time to continue development and money to hosting than you get out of it as operator.

What's wrong with using an exchange as Binance? It may not have every shitcoin listed on TradeOgre, but at least you know that Binance is here to stay. With TradeOgre you'll eventually wake up with the news that they have taken everything offline and you won't ever see or hear anything back from them.
